Gemma Faraday vs. "Amazon" Alaina Sanders-Haines

With Gemma disoriented Alaina decided to try something unexpected but not totally unseen from her arsenal. As Gemma stumbled Alaina gave chase moving in to strike! However instead of a clothesline or shoulder block the amazon leapt into the air wrapping her legs around Gemma's head before leaning back to send her crashing to the mat with a hurricanrana! Alaina hoped the surprise of the choice of offense would lead to Gemma hitting the mat hard allowing Alaina to keep riding her momentum.

Gemma was on obviously unsteady legs, and she was silently cursing herself for it. Her big comeback match, her surprise victory against The Amazon was quickly slipping through her fingers, and she knew it! Looking around, Gemma finally located her opponent—who was, to Gemma’s shock, flying toward her!

“AH!” Gemma gasped as Alaina’s strong legs clamped down around her head, the Amazon’s body swinging up and around her before twisting and yanking the Brit off her boots! Gemma went flying, slammed to her back. Laid out, Gemma stared up at the arena lights in shock and disbelief, gasping for air. The crowd cheered loudly, almost as shocked as Gemma herself to see the Amazon bust out a hurricanrana! Dazed and shocked, Gemma could only lie there, and try to figure out how she could keep up with a woman who could just bust out something like that!

Alaina had Gemma down and the amazon got back up to her feet. She had to keep wearing away at Gemma and she had an idea how to do just that. The amazon pulled Gemma up to her feet and shoved her into the nearby corner before stepping in close. Alaina was going to go at Gemma like she was a punching bag, stepping up to deliver hard body punches and forearm smashes to the chest trying to hit a fast trio of each strike while Gemma was stuck against the turnbuckle with nowhere to go!

Gemma was still trying to wrap her mind around what Alaina has just done to her when the Amazon pulled her off the mat. The punky Brit flailed her legs helplessly as she was yanked up and thrown into the corner.

"No!" Gemma cried out, as she saw Alaina's fists start flying. "Ugh! Aaugh!" Gemma let out loud, pitiful cries as Alaina's fists pounded her helpless body. "D-damn ..." Gemma moaned, as the beating left her hung up on the ropes, the Brit wondering how she could come back from this, or if Alaina already had her beaten, yet again!

Alaina had shocked Gemma once with some agile offense so now she decided to try it again! She grabbed Gemma by the hair, spinning and throwing her out into the ring on her back! After sending Gemma sailing Alaina would waste no time in climbing the turnbuckle and standing at the top, facing the crowd. She looked back to see where Gemma was and then jumped back, the 45 year old 187 pounder flying up to try to land a top rope moonsault right on top of Gemma! Alaina was going to go for a pin if this gamble of hers worked, but if it failed then her crash landing was going to be an especially painful one given the height of her jump along with the momentum of her own weight working against her.

Gemma came out of the corner in a flurry of flailing limbs and pigtails, hitting the canvas with a thud. The Air Raid Siren stared up at the arena lights, taking deep breaths, arms wrapped tight around her aching core. The Brit couldn’t believe the way Alaina was taking it to her, tonight, but it seemed the Amazon wasn’t out of surprises, just yet. Gemma managed to open her eyes just in time to see Alaina bounding up the turnbuckle and throw herself up and over into a top rope moonsault!

“Oh!” Gemma exclaimed, seeing the impressive body of the Amazon come flying through the air. Already curled up into a ball to hold her aching body, Gemma pitched herself over, rolling away from the big woman, trying to leave nothing for her to land no but hard, unforgiving canvas—a fate that had befallen high-flying Gemma more times than she would have liked to count!

Alaina came crashing down... hitting nothing! The sound of her body crashing to the mat made a loud crack that her pained screams amplified. Alaina rolled onto her back and weakly kicked the mat as she writhed in pain. The entire torso of the amazon was throbbing as the. Once on control Alaina was now reeling as the result of her own move working against her!

Gemma managed to pull herself out of the way just in time, the impact of the Amazon’s body hitting the mat giving enough force to push her off the canvas, bouncing just a few inches into the air as she fled for safety. Gemma wasn’t going to be able to just spring to her feet, of course, her body having suffered considerably during Alaina’s run all over her. Gemma rolled up to all fours, gasping for air as she looked up to Alaina to see her suffering just as much as she was. The ref would step in, threatening to start a count to get both women back on their boots, to make sure that this contest could keep going!

Alaina was gasping for breath and struggling back up to her feet when she saw Gemma rising up as well. Alaina grit her teeth and tried to lumber forward at Gemma, moving as quickly as her achy body would allow after her crash landing. Alaina was looking to ram into Gemma with a clothesline to send her down to the mat to allow Alaina to take control of the match again but the amazon was not moving at her peak speed after staggering back up to her feet after her failed top rope moonsault leaving room for Gemma to dodge out of the way if she was able to move fast enough herself!

Gemma struggled to get back up on her boots, but was relieved that the Amazon was having similar trouble. Gemma knew she'd have to act quick if she was going to have a chance, so the punky Brit dig in her heels.

As Alaina made her slow charge, Gemma cut her off at the pass with a kick, the high flyer driving her chunky boot into Alaina's toned abs to try and double her over. If she could bring her to a stop, Gemma would follow that up by hooking Alaina around the head, and doing sharply to spike her into the mat with a DDT!
