Mio Hayasaka vs. Tina Armstrong - A New Beginning

Even after breaking the pin, Mio couldn't immediately pick herself up, which allowed Tina to continue with her offense. As Mio tried to roll herself over to her side, Tina went to grab one of her legs and start to put her into an ankle lock. Mio's eyes widened as she felt her ankle being wrenched.

"GYAAHHHH!!"

Mio cried out in pain. She tried to endure the pain as she then gritted her teeth, trying to claw at the canvas in her attempt to crawl towards the ropes. The pain made it hard for her to focus, but she would attempt to drag herself towards the ropes for a rope break. If this continued, her endurance might run out.

Tina applied all the pressure she could to the hold, keeping it locked in as long as she could! However despite Tina's best efforts she saw Mio reach out and grab the ropes! Even before the referee called for a rope break Tina let go of the hold and backed off to allow Mio to rise back to her feet. Tina was in the middle of the ring, crouching low and keeping an eye on Mio. Tina had just surged her way back in to the fight but knew that Mio could land quick, hard hitting offense.

Tina was going to honor the rope break and let Mio back up but she had to be ready for a sudden burst or rush at her. Tina couldn't let herself fall behind again.

Pulling herself up using the ropes after getting the rope break, Mio panted a little, wincing as she tried to not stand on her aching foot that was subjected to the ankle lock earlier. Then, she would let go of the ropes, stepping forth as she would keep her eyes on Tina, who gave her enough time to get up to honor the rope break.

Favoring her other leg, Mio would try to close in and attempt to lock up with Tina again, though this time, she had no clear plan in mind. She was planning to use her strength to overpower her opponent, though she wasn't sure where to go from there.

Tina saw Mio coming and eye eyes grew large like a tigress who had her prey right where she wanted her! Tina grappled and battled Mio before bending her knees, letting go only to grab Mio around the waist.

Tina burst back up to lift Mio into the air and plant her hard to the mat with a spinebuster!

When she got closer to Tina, Mio got herself caught by her opponent, who grabbed her by her waist. Unable to stop her opponent, Mio found herself being lifted up before she was thrown down into the mat with a spinebuster!

"AARGHHHH!!!"

Mio cried out in pain as she hit the mat, back first. Her brow scrunched up and her eyes shut tightly. She was laid out on the mat, the pain from being slammed made it hard for her to recover, leaving her vulnerable to Tina's next attack.

Tina had managed to plant Mio to the mat and had to follow up with something good. She quickly stood back up and turned away, leaping up and flipping in the air to crash down on top of Mio with a standing moonsault splash! Tina stayed on top of Mio, hooking a leg and going for a pin as she had Mio flat against the mat with the tigress in position on top of her. The referee slid in to place to begin the count as Tina held Mio down.

Laid out on the mat by Tina's spinebuster, Mio groaned as she tried to recollect her bearing, but Tina wasn't done with her attack yet. After bringing her down with the spinebuster, Tina then went for a standing moonsault, leaping into the air to perform a perfect flip before landing right on top of Mio.

"HAAGHH!!"

After that, Tina went for the pin, and the referee began counting. Mio wheezed, feeling the weight of her opponent, though she would try to muster her effort to break the pin. She could hear the referee slapping her palm and counting the pin, and if she didn't kick out soon, she might end up losing.

"TWO!"

After the count of two, Mio would buck her legs, kicking out of the pin. This would stop the count, and Mio would still remain in the match. Groaning, she would try to push Tina off of her, looking to give herself enough room to breathe. She did some rookie mistake there, and she planned to not repeat it.

Tina felt Mio kick out and that wasn't surprising. However with he match continuing it was up to the tigress to try to advance things along in the most beneficial way possible. In her mind that meant keeping Mio down on the mat. Tina moved towards Mio's legs and began to wrap them up, locking in a figure four leg lock as she attempted to inflict pain on her opponent all while keeping her down on the mat to slow her down! Going for the legs seemed like her best option as well, so Tina was trying her best to be as tactical as possible about her approach.

Even after kicking out of the pinfall attempt, Mio wasn't in any shape to immediately pick herself up, and Tina made use of this as she then set her up for a figure four leglock. "AAHHHH!!!" Mio squealed out as her legs were being subjected to the hold. She tried to endure the pain, thrashing her body as she clutched her head. She hoped that she could outlast the hold, though it would certainly weaken her even if she managed to free herself from it.

Tina felt Mio thrashing around and leaned back further applying all the pressure she could to make the hold even more painful for Mio! The tigress was doing all she could to really inflict punishment on Mio, going for broke early on after being on the wrong end of Mio's opening surge that left Tina in dire straits. Tina knew she had to be intense and focused against this rookie.
