Every Rose has its thorns- Zetta vs Rose!

*Despite knowing full well that her adversary wouldn't be defeated so easily, Zetta knew that establishing her wrestling prowess was paramount if she was going to prevail. Tentatively rising to her feet, she snagged Rose's ankle and began twisting it sideways to try and inflict some damage with an ankle twister!*

[Faeron]

"Agh!" Rose cried out in pain from the submission hold, her body jerking around in a bid to escape before utilizing her free leg to try and kick Zetta off of her.

[SubtleRoar]

*Trying to concentrate all of her energy into dislocating Rose's trapped foot, Zetta suddenly felt an unknown force strike her unprotected cheek, immediately forcing the taciturn easterner to relinquish her foe's ankle, staggering back to her feet with a clear expression of frustration plastered across her face.* "Hmm..." *She pensively contemplated what the best course of action would be in her current situation, opting to backpedal against the ropes before returning to greet Rose with a basement dropkick!*

Rose felt the kick connected and her ankle was set free from the vicious grip. Rose muttered a swear under her breath as she now had a very sore ankle to contend with but she barely had the time to complain about it as while getting to her knees, she was suddenly shoved backwards by a dropkick from Zetta. The impact was enough to cause Rose to roll out of the ring and fall onto the mat hard.

"Damn it!" Rose hissed as she slowly started to rise once again.

[SubtleRoar]

*As her bare feet struck their intended target, Zetta subsequently rolled onto her side, stretching her arm outwards to clasp the rope for support before finally reaching her natural fighting stance once again.* "Hmhm..." *Allowing herself a moment of amusement, Zetta could hear the roars of the audience supporting her, encouraging her to keep her momentum going by charging towards a nearby pillar for something special.*

*Weaponizing her aerodynamic body towards the unsuspecting Rose, Zetta defied every law of gravity and launched herself towards her opponent, trying to connect with a speedy moonsault!*

Rose was slightly limping as she got to her feet when she noticed the crowd grow in excitement. The former idol turned around to see Zetta in the air and within seconds, was once again on her back at ringside.

"AGH!" Rose screamed as her ankle buckled from the senton, now in more pain than before. Her hands moved quick to favor the injured body part as now she'll have to contend with moving on one leg.

*As the airborne easterner collided with the grounded Rose, smashing into her with a thunderous* "WHUMP!" *It didn't take long for Zetta to regain her senses, scrambling towards the edge of the ring apron for stability.* "Mmhh..." *Quietly analyzing the situation, Zetta calculated the probability of the downed woman potentially recovering, which allowed her ample time to devise a new plan of attack.*

*Being the daredevil that she was, Zetta subsequently launched herself at Rose yet again, attempting to connect with a missile dropkick that would send her staggering into the steel steps if it connected!*

Rose gingerly pulled herself up using the ring apron, reeling from the punishment taken thus far. Unfortunately her tribulations would be far from over as the moment she got, Rose had a brief second to see bare feet charging towards her again before she felt them slam into her chest -- sending the red-haired wrestling flying into the steel steps behind her. The loud clang from her body hitting the sides of the steps echoed across the arena as Rose fell to side, her back arching from the pain.

*As yet another move of Zetta's connected with relatively little resistance, Zetta took a brief moment to inspect her handiwork- Rose was certainly in no position to return to her feet anytime soon, The Firebird had convinced herself of that once her spinal cord ricocheted off the metallic steps, but the bloodthirsty side of her was beginning to bubble to the surface.* "Mmm..." *The flat affect of her voice implied that her bloodlust had yet to be quenched, ambling towards Rose with the intent to inflict some heavy damage!*

Rose muttered another swore under breath, this time in her native tongue, as the pain wracked through her body. Out of the corner of her eye, Rose noticed the bare feet of Zetta coming closer to her and an idea sprung into her mind as the idol started to sit up. Once Zetta was within range, Rose suddenly lurched forward with a hand to grab the waist of Zetta's pants and looked to pull her opponent into the steel steps to inflict some revenge.
