Ashley's debut! Ashley vs Frisk

Unread post by pikazard »

Ashley took in a deep, long breath as she waited for her debut match to begin. The wrestling fangirl turned professional wrestler peeked out to look at the ring and the crowd that had gathered and squealed. All of her wrestling matches up until now were in much smaller venues, up to and including her high school gymnasium. To be fighting in the LAW arena honestly had her star struck. Though that didn't keep her from thinking about her upcoming match. Her opponent was also debuting, and she didn't seem to have been involved in wrestling much from before LAW, making this 'Frisk' girl an enigma to her.

Her thoughts were interrupted by the announcer, who was beginning to introduce her "From the USA! Weighing in at 132 pounds! Making her LAW debut: Ashley Lucas!" That was her cue to come in. As she walked out onto the ramp she struck a pose, pointing to the sky with a grin on her face. She held the pose for a few seconds before she ran to the ring and dove in through the middle ropes, rolling to her feet. The crowd applauded her and some gave her cheers, but it was clear that most of it was polite courtesy more than anything. The crowd cheered more for their favourites. That was fine by Ashley, it just meant she'd have to give them a reason to cheer louder for her. And tonight she intended to.

As her entrance music started to fade away she would walk into the corner and take a good look at her competition as she came out, cracking her knuckles as she did so.

Frisk seems rather calm, however internally they have been waiting for quite sometime since they have been here to have their debut match started. Although they hasn't been quite expecting a doubt debut match against someone, regardless it fills their soul with excitement and determination to give the people as well as herself the coolest first match...well ever. They didn't really know anything about this Ashley girl other than the fact that this is her first ever wrestling match...in the 'big leagues' at least.

They hear the announcer speak who was beginning to introduce them "Also from the USA! Weighing in at 130 pounds! Making...her? Him? Their? Uh...I'll got with her for the sake of simplicity, her LAW debut: Frisk 'The Young Pacifist'!" And that was their cue to come on stage. They walk out onto the ramp and struck a little pose, having a heart symbol done with their fingers as they had a smile on their face. They held the pose for a little longer before they ran to the ring and safely went through the middle ropes and they wave to the crowd as they cheer for them. They also know it's more about common courtesy more than anything but that was completely fine.

Their entrance music started to fade away as she walks into the corner and take a look at Ashley, still having that somewhat dorky smile on their face.

Ashley watched the entrance ramp intently from her corner as her first opponent Frisk entered the arena. Frisk was a rather androgynous figure that looked like they could be either male or female, not that it mattered to Ashley; she'd take on all comers. Frisk made a heart symbol with her fingers as they smiled to the audience, a rather interesting choice for a wrestler. Most wrestlers wanted to look fearsome or threatening, but Frisk seemed like they are going out of their way to look non-threatening. Ashley kept her observations to herself as Frisk entered the ring and flashed that smile to Ashley.

Ashley gave Frisk a smile in return, but her smile was far less friendly and was more of an intimidating smirk. She pounded her fist into her palm and cracked her knuckles "Hope you're ready for a heartbreak." Ashley wasn't a heel by any means, but compared to the super friendly and approachable Frisk she was starting to look like one.

Frisk kept watch of Ashley as they formed some thoughts of Ashley. Judging from Ashley's actions and words just now, it served as proof for their thoughts on Ashley. They thought of Ashley as a sort of rebel tomboy who isn't really bad by any means, but just likes to act and appear tough. They actually like meeting and hanging out with people like that since it remembers them quite a bit of Chara who is their best friend so they can't help but feel that kind of way towards anyone like that as well.

They do recognize that Ashley's smile is like more of an intimidating smirk than a friendly grin but they didn't particularly care one way or the other. They just keep smiling as they stretch before the would begin "Regardless of who wins or lose, I want us to have a very fun match" They would chuckle a little as they would get pretty excited to get this match started.

Ashley had been hoping to intimidate their androgynous opponent with her one-liner and her knuckle cracking, but her attempts seemed to do nothing to deter the irritatingly friendly smile on Frisk's face, which kind of annoyed Ashley. Ashley's frown only deepened when Frisk gave her little speech about wanting to have a fun match no matter who won or lost, followed by a chuckle. Ashley's competitive nature was completely at odds with Frisk's words "It won't be fun for you!" she said, with extreme confidence.

When the bell rang Ashley would begin to walk forward with her arms raised, despite her trash talk it seemed she was adopting a defensive strategy. If she met Frisk in the middle of the ring without Frisk making any sudden movements she would slowly raise her arms, looking to initiate a test of strength to begin the match. She did this hoping to establish dominance early on.

If Frisk was a kid or at least just younger then yeah they would definitely show that they're a little intimidated by her but since that she pretty much lived with Chara a lot who at first tried to intimidate them for a while they had...sort of gotten used to it. The method that always works for them when it comes with befriending someone like her is to just keep being friendly and smiling and they'll come around eventually...doesn't always work but Frisk is sure that it'll work with Ashley.

When the bell rang, Frisk would actually be the aggressive one here as they expected Ashley to do the same but since they didn't and it's not like Frisk could just stop, they just continue to charge at Ashley. The purpose of the charge is just so that they would begin the match with a test of strength to maybe surprise her with their strength.

As Ashley walked forward with her arms raised she was taken off guard by Frisk's charge, the girl(?) had been seemed very harmless and docile so far so Ashley had not expected them to start the match off in such an aggressive way. As a result when Frisk ran into Ashley and initiated a test of strength Ashley wasn't quite ready for it, even though she herself had been looking to start one, so she quickly got overpowered and was forced down onto one knee by her foe "Gghh" She tried to push back to hopefully overpower Frisk in response but the two of them were pretty equally matched and Ashley was already in a state of disadvantage to begin with, so the blonde wasn't finding much success. Right now Frisk had the advantage and it was up to them to decide what to do with it.

Frisk, at in their opinion, would consider to be more passive than active. However it's good to throw in a surprise like this every once in a while...even though that this IS Frisk's debut match and therefore if anything they're unintentionally establishing themselves as active but all of that doesn't really matter. Anyways Frisk didn't entirely expect to be able to overpower Ashely like this though then again it's most likely because that they manage to catch her by surprise than anything else. Frisk had to think for a bit on what exactly to do in this particular situation before they get an idea. They start things off in this match by going behind Ashely as they're still grabbing Ashley's hands to put her in the Straight Jacket hold.

As Ashley was struggling on one knee underneath Frisk she would be trying to think about how to get out of this predicament when Frisk would swiftly manoeuvre around her body while still keeping a grip on her hands and pulled her arms back across her neck, locking in a Straight Jacket hold and starting to choke Ashley with her own arms. Ashley's face was twisted in pain as her neck was restricted by her own arms, letting out strangled grunts as she struggled to loosen the hold.

She attempted to forcefully lift her arms away from her neck and uncross them with brute force. If she was successful she would attempt to get up to her feet and if she managed that she would throw her head back, attempting to smash the back of her head against Frisk's face, hoping to get her to let go "Haaah!!!"

Frisk successfully maneuver around Ashley's body while keeping her grip on her hands and pulled her arms across her neck, starting to choke her with her own arms. At the moment when Ashley struggled to loosen the hold, Frisk was doing well in keeping the hold together as she smiled a little bit.

When Ashley attempted to forcefully left her arms away from neck and uncross them with brute force, it was successful as she was taken a little off guard from that. However she reacted fast enough to try something out. She would lower herself to where she would grab Ashley's stomach area with both of her arms and then attempt to do a suplex on her. She would do this way so that she would not only avoid the headbutt but also counter that headbutt with a move of her own
