When Lightning Strikes: Finlay Zeffer vs Raika

Finlay cracked his knuckles and neck backstage by the guerilla position in preperation for his next match. He had been on... a losing streak as of late and he hated it. He was determined to break that streak with a win tonight against his opponet. He knew a bit about her only, mainly that she was a rather vicious one with a mean streak and preference for submissions. But that was fine... the more vicious rhis girl, the more tenacious he’d be to take her down.

Looking up as he was qued to come out he walked forward to the entrance ramp. Wearing his red and black maori patterned long tights with black forearm sleeves and grey boots he cracked his neck as he came out to his entrance song Alchemy by Brandon Yates. Throwing his arm out as he came to the view of the crowd he than began marching down the ramp. He was a man on a mission, derermined to do one thing. Win against his opponet, even if he had to break himself to do it.

Approaching the ring he jumped up landkng crouched on the ring apron while holding onto the top tope. Pushing up with his legs be vaulted over the ropes and landed into tbe ring smoothly. Walking over to a corner he turned and watched the enttance ramp with a steely gaze. Ready to face whoever Raika was when she came out.

It's been forever since Raika had been given a match in LAW, ever since her first and only match ended in defeat. The company really didn't have a place for her and decided to just have be waiting in the wings whenever someone needs a win or match, but that doesn't fly with her at all she is better most of the women in the company and tonight she was going to prove it.



Getting her cue to go onto the stage and not even getting music makes her bite her lip upset and pissed off, as she storms her way down to the ring glaring at the crowd and her opponent who is waiting for her in the ring. Sliding underneath the ring rope and going to her corner of the ring, arms crossed and a frown on her face from fighting a guy at that.

"I'm going to tell you right now if you think your going to get your jollies off by fighting me you got another thing coming you got me. I will take a chair and use it to snap your dick off if you try anything am I clear." She says pointing at FInlay.

Finlay watched the generic entrance of his opponet, every fiber of the girls beeing practically oozing anger and irritation for reasons he didn’t know or care about. All that mattered was that he won. As Raika entered the ring he all but ignored her warning, finding it more annoying than offensive. ”I don’t really care but I’ll aat this once to clear the air.” He said in an annoyed tone as he looked up at her.

“I’m not some frat boy here for a cheap thrill, I’m here for one thing and one thing only, and its not that. So get over yourself and focus on the match unless you want to be defeated sooner rather than later.” He said calmly in a cold and calculated tone, not at all phased by her thread, and just easger to take his opponet down.

"...The fuck you just say to me? Alright hot shot we see how going to be defeated sooner or later." She says her face losing the frown and slowly turning into a sadistic look.

The ref after hearing what Finlay just said and Raika temper, gives him a look and backs up quickly before ringing the bell to begin the match between the two. Raika as soon as the bell ring comes out of her corner fast heading towards her opponent wanting to take him by surprise, even leaving her feet going for a jumping high knee to Finlay chin if it connects.

Finlay remained unpjased by Raika’s reaction to his words, it was all but expected to him given her attitude and he wasn’t about to be intimidated by her. Ignoring the look from the ref Finlay just prepared himself mentally as the bell rang starting the match. As Raika rapidly approached him jumping up for a flying knee he was quick to react. Throwing his arms up he would block the knee, gritting his teeth in pain from the process. However in the few moments that Raika’s knee was connected to his forearms the blonde would snap his hands down and over the girls leg to grab on tightly to the limb. Pulling back on ber limb he would attempt to drop the fiery woman down to tbe mat with a take down.

Raika smirks seeing her knee land, but frowns that Finlay was able to get his hands up to block her quick strike with ease. Glaring knowing that she is stuck in a rough position and no way to defend herself at all which her opponent takes advantage of. "AGHHHH Fuck.." she cries out as she is taken down slamming hard on her back onto the mat trying to cover herself up to defend herself against Finlay offensive moves.

Finlay smirked as he managed to take the woman right down to the mat with a good deal of force. Having one of her legs in his grasp he knew he was in a good place to take adcantage. And so did she, he could tell by the look of pure indignation and frustration on her face. Raising his fist up he did the motions as if to strike her in the face. However he wouldn’t instead, it was a bluff to make her flinch. If successful he would use the brief distraction to turn around, turning Raika onto her stomach in tbe process. If successful he would step back, attempting to pull her leg backwards for a single legged boston crab right off the bat.

Raika slams the mat in anger at falling for the feint punch mentally beating herself up for making a rookie mistake, and now is paying for it being placed a single leg Boston crab hold. "Aughhh" gripping the mat in pain from the hold, feeling her leg and back begin to stretch and pull from Finlay surprisingly strong and firm grip on her leg. Reaching her arm back to try and hit his ankle to force him to break the hold, or slowly crawl her way to get to the ropes.

Feint successful, leg pulled back, advantage firmly with Finlay as he viciously pulled back on Raika’s leg, determined to damage it as much as possible. Of course Raika wasn’t the type to lay back and let him do as he wished. Wincing from his ankle being hit he was fully aware that they were getting ever closer to the ropes. Tsking in annoyance Finlay wrapped his legs around Raika’s own before throwing himself down and going to roll them away, both as a effort to pull them away from the ropes and transition the hold to a leg bar.

Getting closer and closer to getting to the ropes, Raika was about to reach out and grab it with her hand. Before her opponent transitioned from a single leg crab to a leg bar hold now, what worse is the ropes are farther away again and pain shooting through her legs due to the hold. "AUGHHHH YOU FUCKING BASTARDDDDD..." clawing at the mat trying to think of a way out of the hold, reaching for anything to try and help her get out of the hold.
