Reunion In The Ring - Cloud Strife Vs Tifa Lockhart

"Heh, it's never dull when you're involved, Tifa." Cloud replied back with that cocky look of his. It was never any fun for him when an opponent was too easy to beat. But he had the opening gambit to lead with. Hoisting the girl over him for a Northern Lights Suplex, Cloud lifted her through the air to slam her back onto the canvas for his first move of the match!

"Think you can still say the same?" He teased. It wasn't malicious - it was all part of the match banter! It helped that they were childhood friends. He slid his hands away from Tifa's waist (which felt nicer than he remembered...growing up had done her wonders) and moved to take her wrists in hand with his palms as he pulled her into a seating position. If she didn't reverse it, Cloud would place his knee against the girl's spine and begin to tug her arms back to stretch her out! "C'mon, you're not gonna throw in the towel that easily, are you?!"

Tifa was hoisted up rather easily by Cloud in the opening moves of the match. Allowing him to slam her back down into the mat for a Northern Lights Suplex. Surely not a great start for Tifa here with Cloud getting the advantage. Maybe he was able to get in close so easily is because Tifa subconsciously let him, not really wanting to hurt a good friend. Though the suplex knocked that sentiment out of her quickly.

Agh~~ Thanks you helped me with a knot in my back Tifa said joking back at Cloud. Honestly with some damage the suplex did help in a way. While also not wanting him to think he was far ahead. Cloud beginning to move from Tifa's waist to her wrists.Never though you'd be so handsy Cloud Cloud would end up grabbing her wrists, pulling her arms back, placing his knee on her back. Ah~~ Tifa would say in a low groan. Not wanting to be in the hold for much longer Tifa thought it'd be best to show Cloud what she really had.

Trying to get herself free Tifa would try to stand herself up. Going through the pain, hopefully Cloud would follow her if he wanted to keep the hold. If she were to stand, with the knee not on her spine. Tifa tried to get herself free with a back kick to Cloud's midsection. Hoping that would get him to let go. If it did Tifa would go hard and fast early. Looking to go at Cloud hooking his leg and head. Hopefully to flip him over delivering ROLLING FALL

"Oh? You'll be thanking me for a lot more by the end of the night." Cloud smirked back at the girl. He didn't waste any time having taken control of the match so early on - these were critical moments, after all. As he pulled her arms back and pressed his knee into her spine, he grunted with a clench of his teeth as he looked to work her over. She might have been a friend, but he couldn't let personal feelings hold him back against her.

"All part of the sport." He told her at her 'handsy' comment. "Can't do much if you can't lay your hands on an opponent, right?" He continued to dig that knee into her back, until the black haired girl began to rise. Admittedly surprised at her tenacity, Cloud started to stand with her, still holding onto her wrists as he fought to try and keep his grip on her. But he wasn't prepared for Tifa's foot to fly back, nailing him in the gut! "Ooff!"

His hands slipped from her wrists as he clutched at his abdominal region with one hand. Her heel slamming against his mid section had knocked a fair bit of breath from his lungs, and it left him wide open for her follow up. Tifa turned and seized his head with one hand, the other hooking his leg. Cloud's bare torso pressed up against her as he couldn't help but blush slightly, although his expression quickly shifted as she flipped him over her! "Ggghh!!" The blonde crashed down onto his back, his own spine now taking some abuse as he rolled onto his front towards the centre of the ring.

"N...Not bad, Tifa..."

Alright, while the start wasn't what Tifa would have liked. At least she was getting a lead now in the match. It would have been rough if Cloud had kept Tifa in that submission hold. That aside though, Tifa was more than surprised that Cloud was this capable in a match. That much was made clear early in the match. And where did you learn how to move like that Cloud? Tifa asked semi jokingly knowing Cloud was downed on the mat.

Well now if you don't mind I am going to take the match from here Tifa said with a smile as she moved onto Cloud. Seeing that Cloud was laying on is front, Tifa would emulate some classic show wrestling and jump up. Hoping to land an elbow on Cloud's back. If this were to land Tifa would quickly roll herself onto Cloud, lifting his head. Wanting to put him in a camel clutch. Yet Tifa would modify it herself. Similar to in a headlock where a wrestler uses their bicep. Tifa would use that same hold on Cloud while lifting his head up.

Can't be to nice to you now can I Tifa said grunting as she tightened the hold on Cloud.

"Guess I picked it up...from you..." He wisecracked back to her as he laid face down on the canvas. If she was gonna joke around, he was definitely gonna respond in kind. Even when he was at a disadvantage like he was now. "But sorry, Tifa, this match was mine from the beginn-Oof!!" His tongue was silenced as she leapt up and stabbed her elbow into his bruised spine for an elbow drop! A classic for good reason, in both theatrics and pain.

She quickly mounted him. His head is raised. The signs of a camel clutch are all too obvious. But Tifa makes a slight adjustment. Instead of her hands yanking on his chin, Cloud feels her bicep curl around his jaw. A very toned bicep at that. Under that gorgeous frame, Tifa had a lot of muscle. In fact, she'd probably put on more ever since she and Cloud had gone their separate ways. "Shit...y'know...I've got...a finisher...a bit like this..." The 'mercenary' managed to articulate as she choked him. He'd begin to slam his fists against her ankles, trying to jolt some pain into her to try and get her to release him. "You'll see it for yourself...later on..."

His teeth clenched together, gritting. He wouldn't yell. Not yet. The match was still in its early phases.

[Aqua]

Tifa was on the lead of the match, as most people would expect and want. She was showing off that patented strength of hers. Especially after she lands her elbow on Cloud. Not wasting anytime in choking Cloud with her bicep. It was quite the deviation from the normal move. But one that proved to be quite effective. Tifa would jerk Cloud up at random intervals to add on to the pain. Though the mercenary wasn't out yet

He would let out a few words saying he has his own finisher. Oh you have a finisher? Don't blame me for not wanting to see it now Tifa said somewhat jokingly, keeping her hold. Though not for very long as Cloud would slam his fists on Tifa's legs. Forcing her to jump up and release the hold, stroking her legs in pain. They teach you that in mercenary school? Tifa would joke looking at her opponent.

As she mounted his back and locked in her submission, Cloud's legs would struggle behind him as he tried to wriggle his way to freedom. Unfortunately for him, Tifa had a pretty firm grip upon him and would even yank him at his neck with her bicep to apply additional pressure. Each motion pulled a grunt from the mercenary's mouth, but he was far too stubborn to give her any more sounds as he tried to bash his fists against her legs in an attempt for freedom.

"Of course I have a finisher!" He's insulted, even if she was joking! He doesn't come to the ring unprepared, after all! His efforts paid off as she finally released him, jumping him and clutching her legs. Cloud's head flopped to the ground, the blonde panting as he tried to get his breathing back under control. "...Maybe. A merc's gotta have his secrets, y'know. But...here's one I picked up from the streets!" Getting back onto his feet, Cloud turned to press his back into the nearby ropes as he came running towards Tifa, hoping she was still recovering and therefore leaving her open for a clothesline as he aimed to slam his arm into her chest!

Tifa had released Cloud from her hold after focusing on Tifa's ankles. Making some space as she went to rub her ankles, as if to make them heal faster. Not that it mattered though Cloud was free from the hold. It didn't take long for the merc to jump back up and have something planned. Running back into the ropes bouncing off them and right to Tifa.

Oh something you learned from the street huh? Tifa would say now standing up. Surely Cloud didn't think it would be that easy to keep Tifa still. Cloud coming at her hoping to hit a clothesline. Tifa with no fear would also run at Cloud, hoping to meet him half way and also meet him with a clothesline.

[Cosmos]

He's gotta make this moment count while Tifa is occupied with soothing the pain out of her ankles. And the merc is determined to do just that as he makes for the ropes. The small of his back strains against them as he twists and heads back towards Tifa. "Yeah, it's the best place to lea-?!"

Cloud is cut off as Tifa boldly makes for him herself. He can't falter now, he's committed! He swings his arm out to go for his clothesline as planned, but his old friend holds her arm at the ready, planning to deliver her own! Cloud would almost praise her for being so gutsy, if they weren't about to collide. And collide they did, their arms crashing into their opponent's respective chests! Tifa's arm crashed against his toned pecs while his own limb struck against her bosom!

"Grkk!!" Cloud drops to the mat like a sack of potatoes, panting. He's in pain, but also lingering on the brief feel of Tifa's chest against his arm. She had developed so much since he last saw her. He couldn't hide the blush from his face as he rolled onto his side, groaning.

Tifa was being as brazen as can be, looking to meet Cloud with her own clothesline. She felt it was fitting to be like this because she was going up against Cloud. Afterall it would be disrespectful to not give Cloud her all. Not to mention she was having fun herself.

Once the two meet Tifa's arm crashed into Cloud's chest. The same for Tifa taking a armful of Cloud on her own chest. Gah Tifa would grunt as the two meet, hitting each other. Making them both fall down onto the mat. In hindsight maybe trading blows may not have been a good idea. Not that it mattered now.

On the mat Tifa would be impressed with the power Cloud had in that move. Not that she expected him to be weak, but rather he was stronger than expected. Gotta say you are keeping this fun Tifa would say to Cloud not noticing his tinted face. After that Tifa would get herself up, able to work through the pain.

Going to her opponent Tifa would raise Cloud up and attempt to throw him into the turnbuckle.
