The Queen has arrived - Sarah Gatt vs Jessica Wright (Completed)

Jessica felt Sarah calming down a bit. Well, maybe calming down was the wrong word. She imagined that Sarah had potential to feel a very small range of emotional states, and she highly doubted that the redhead could maintain anything close to being placid. Rather, Jessica imagined that Sarah was reassessing, trying to figure out the best way out of this jam. When Jessica found herself in predicaments like the one that she had ensnared her opponent in, she always tried to use her brutish strength to power through and get out of it. Most of the time it worked, but in this Sarah had found Jessica to be equal to her measure.

The hand that kept Sarah from losing all her oxygen left Jessica's arm. She took that as the impetus to squeeze even more tightly, expending valuable energy on trying to get the redhead to tap. One of the more curious things about Jessica was that she nearly never tapped. The Violent Violet preferred to go unconscious than admit defeat, and wondered if her opponent was similar.

She unfortunately didn't have an opportunity to find out. Hard blows slammed into her side one after the other. For the first two blows, Jessica was able to hang on with gritted teeth and steely determination, but after three her hold started slipping. One more strike meant that Jessica grasp on Sarah was gone completely, a fact that Sarah exploited by rising to her feet once more.

Jessica was also quick to her feet. Like Sarah had done moments prior, Jessica was barreling ahead. Instead this time, she was going in for the kill. Her long leg stretched forward to meet Sarah right in the redhead's gut, with her intention to double her opponent manifest in the killer look in her eyes. From there, Jessica would grab Sarah's head and tuck it between her strong legs. She would be quick in wrapping up Sarah's arms beneath her body. At that point she could go up and down to complete her finisher, the Queenmaker!

Sarah sent fist after fist into Jessica's ribs in an attempt to make her let go of the guillotine. It would take a few tries, during which the choke around Sarah's neck tightened, but after three hard punches she would be free of the debilitating hold. Gasping in relief instinct saw Sarah quickly roll away from the purple haired girl to put a bit of distance between them. The redhead coughed and hacked after being released, her throat raw from the choke but at least she was able to breath again. Jessica had been taking Sarah for a ride for awhile now so it felt good to nail her back even in that small way. Now she could stand up and turn things arou-

"Ooof!!" Sarah cried out when right after standing up she was doubled over with a fierce kick to the gut. The Queen of Brawl was then pulled between Jessica's legs before her arms were crossed for her. Whatever was coming it had the audience cheering loudly, which from Sarah's experience was never good when you were on the receiving side. This would turn out to be no different.

Sarah went up and then she came down hard.

The redhead's face struck the mat at full force and when she did her body followed with her, flopping to the mat in an ungainly heap. The impact was devastating and left Sarah unmoving. Perhaps even KO'd.

Jessica was over the moon. In one fell swoop, she had ended the match. Sarah came in swaggering and acting like she was the biggest bully the league had ever seen, and Jessica had put her down just like she had put down many others before her. In the grand scheme of things, Sarah was not that special. After all, she was just a debutante and Jessica had already had a title shot. Jessica was always the type to believe that she was the biggest baddest woman on the face of the earth, and her win over Sarah would all but prove that fact.

Because there was simply no way that Sarah would be able to get out of this. When she was 15, she had developed this finisher, and it had never failed once. Sarah was a tough woman, but the Violent Violet was fairly confident that she had just put her down for the evening. It was a good win against a fierce competitor. Mentally, Jessica was already at home, sipping on a beer, recovering from the match as best she could. And now the only thing that remained was making it to a three count. Jessica turned Sarah so that she was face up and lay across her for a pin.

ONE!

The ref girl counted. Everyone in the audience was still buzzing, amazed that Jessica was able to string together such an array of attacks on such a strong opponent. If she were being honest with herself, she would note how much her own adrenaline was surging through her. She looked over at the zebra, eagerly awaiting the next two strikes of the mat.

Sarah Lay there on the mat unmoving, her eyes closed and her breathing shallow. After taking that face buster there was little life to be seen from the Queen of Brawl. After having been on the receiving end of Jessica's attacks for the last few minutes it culminated with the Violent Violet delivering her brutal looking finisher to the Queen of Brawl. Her muscled form lay spread eagled on the mat until Jessica moved in for the pin. Then counting started in earnest with the first slap of the mat. Then came the second.

TWO!

It seemed that Sarah's foray into a new league would be marred by the fact that she had lost in her debut match. Maybe she had bitten off more than she could chew. Maybe she was foolish in thinking that she could rip her way through LAW like she had so many other leagues. As the ref's hand came down for that third and final count people started to think that perhaps it was for the be-

"GAAAAAHHH!!!!!!"

Springing to life and screaming like a madwoman Sarah would abruptly attempt to shove Jessica off of her just before the ref slapped the mat for the third time. As if rising from the grave, the Queen of Brawl had returned, battered and bloody.

This fight was not over yet.

Jessica didn't react. The world didn't make sense any more. She was on her knees, looking down at Sarah. The ref had gotten one pretty easily, and then to two, but the expected three count didn't come. To Jessica, it was as if the sun just didn't rise one day. She blinked once, twice. Was this happening? Was this real? Did someone, let alone Sarah who she had grown to hate so much over the course of a few minutes here tonight, actually kick out of her finisher?

Yes. Yes they had. Jessica felt a hundred emotions at the same time. Frustration, at having put together a brutal series of moves and still not being able to put Sarah down for the count. Then anger, a quiet fury that Sarah had the temerity to try to win the match even after Jessica had done all that. And finally, a creeping anxiety and doubt. After all, if the redhead kicked out of that, it would take an incredible effort to send Sarah packing for the evening.

She rose to her feet gravely, and backed away a bit. Her nose flared as she reckoned with this brave new world, one in which her finisher was not holy. Her mind was up for the fight, but her body was fatigued and beaten. Her purple eyes narrowed as she weighed what she had to do to win the match. It would take a lot, that much was certain. But Jessica began doubting that she had enough in the tank to get there. Nonetheless, she was going to try, as she crouched down into her stance.

It a stunning turn of events that set Sarah's fans cheering and Jessica's fans reeling, the Queen of Brawl kicked out of Jessica's pin at the last possible second, taking away the Violent Violet's prospects of a win right then and there. Sarah rolled onto her side, shaking the cobwebs out of her aching head. She was sore and a little woozy but she could call those feelings old friends at this point. The point is she was awake, she was still in the fight, and most importantly, she was still very pissed.

Growling through the pain in her body Sarah would roll onto her front and get her feet under her. Jessica seemed to be backing off, either out of caution or fear, and it allowed Sarah the room she needed to get back on her feet again. She did so unsteadily, having just taken a move that dropped her on her head, but she would succeed in her efforts nonetheless. Soon enough the redhead was on her feet again, panting heavily and fixing Jessica with a red eyed glare that would give the devil shivers.

"Well?" Sarah would ask before her hands would be raised at the ready, clenched into tight fists in a ready position. "What are you waiting for? I thought we were fighting....?"

Jessica watched the woman in front of her rise from the ground like a phoenix from the ashes, or more appropriately for the situation like a ghoul crawling their way out of the grave. It seemed an affront to the natural order of the universe, that someone could do such a thing as kick out of her finisher. But here she was, and there Sarah was, reckoning with this brave new world as best either of them possibly could. The redhead was right, after all. They were fighting, not gawking and not panicking.

Jessica advanced. It was a slow progression, as she moved towards her opponent. But it came in greater and greater strides as she came at Sarah with greater intensity until she was in an all out sprint. At the last second, she took to the air with both legs extended forward in a missile drop kick.

The Violent Violet went about her task wordlessly. There was nothing to be said that could right the injustices that have been visited upon the ring. And as such, she would have to bring the world into its natural state with force. It was with grim determination in her eye that she flew at her opponent, like an arrow flying at a cowboy in the last stand of same brave native tribe.

Sarah's head may have been killing her but she just equated it to fighting with a bad hangover, which the redhead had done many times before. She had definitely blacked out for a few seconds after Jessica delivered her supposed match ending move, but it wasn't enough to cross the threshold of pain that was required to keep the Queen of Brawl down. From the expression on Jessica's face it was something she had not at all been expecting. Sarah relished in the near panic that crossed the purplehead's features when she realized that Sarah surviving her finisher was outside her realm of possibility.

Fists raised and lips still bloody from Jessica's attacks, Sarah baited her opponent into making the next move. It wouldn't take much; just a demand for Jessica to keep fighting. Sarah wouldn't even have to call her a pussy or anything before her hard bodied foe would come bolting at her. Either out of desperation or panic Jessica would come at Sarah with a fierce dropkick.

It wouldn't matter. As soon as she saw Jessica leap into the air Sarah would hop to the side, deftly avoiding the so-called arrow. It would leave Jessica hitting nothing but air before gravity took over and she would crash to the mat. When she did, and when it looked like she was about to get up again, Sarah would then rush in to close the distance between them, looking to deliver a fierce soccer style kick right across the Violent Violet's jaw!

Jessica's feet were extended all the way, ready to crumple once she met Sarah's flesh for maximum impact. Only, she did not hit anything other than the air. Jessica's body realized it before her mind did, as she braced before she even hit the ground. The Violent Violet recognized a second or two later, as her eyes went wide with fright as she realized the consequences of what she had done. By that time, however, there was less than a foot between her and the earth, and that foot was soon diminished to nothing at all as she collided with the ground with a loud "Oof!"

It was a setback. It was not something that was going to lose her the match, but she had a hard time denying that it was a setback. Determined not to let the misstep be a fatal one, Jessica immediately started scrambling to get up and rise to where Sarah was to make things happen. Just as she turned onto her front to push herself from the ground, a hard kick slammed into her jaw and sent her rolling over.

She clenched her jaw, and did what she could to just stay awake. The kick had been a strong one, and the Violent Violet was completely defenseless. That was a state that she remained in as she rolled over one more time, sweating profusely and trying to deal with being rocked as best she could.

Sarah's simple yet effective counter to Jessica's dropkick was right on the mark, nailing her opponent across the jaw like the was kicking a football. It sent Jessica rolling away, and it sent Sarah into beserkers rage. After tasting Jessica's finisher, the Queen of Brawl was more than ready to deliver some payback to the Violent Violet. One kick wasn't going to satisfy it was Sarah. Not when there was so much to get back for.

Snarling with a rage bordering on feral Sarah would move in on the downed fighter, not wasting much time after connecting that kick. The red head would stomp loudly towards Jessica, the only warning the woman would receive before Sarah would grab a handful of that long violet hair in a tight grasp. None too gently she would use it to haul Jessica up upon her knees, forcing her to kneel before the vengeful brawler. From there Jessica would see the wild look in Sarah's eyes as she stared straight fury at her.

Holding Jessica in place by the hair, Sarah's other fist would cock back menacingly before it would plow into Jessica's face for a fierce punch. Sarah would do this three times, delivering punch after punch into the Violent Violet's features while she was on her knees. It was on the third one Sarah would release Jessica's hair, and to complete the brutal combo Sarah would throw her foot forward for a destructive Spartan style kick directly into her opponent's face!
