The Queen has arrived - Sarah Gatt vs Jessica Wright (Completed)

Jessica had pulled it off about as well as she possibly could have, the two moves in quick succession. It was at times like this that she wondered if she may have been better suited for the octagon rather than a wrestling ring. She wondered if then the two wrestlers' fates would have entwined as they were now coming together, if the version of Jessica where she was an MMA fighter would have met the version of Sarah that had forsaken the glitz of the ring for the brutality of the cage.

As she held Sarah's arm, she thought about that for a second, before the thought disappeared into the ether from which it had come. There were more pressing matters at hand, such as ensuring that Jessica kept Sarah under control. The scream of pain and rage was a good sign, she thought. This move was a solid one, sure to rob Sarah of her capacity to throw those mighty punches at full force. But it could not last forever. This was not going to win her the match.

What was going to win her the match were a whole bunch of brutal slams that sent her opponent down to the mat. Jessica unclamped her legs, but did not let go of the arm. She clambered to her feet in short order, yanking her opponent up by her now damaged arm as she did so. From there, she would send her opponent right back down to the mat, as she flung herself backwards to monkey flip her opponent over her head. The movement would not cease even if her grip on Sarah's arms did, as she would attempt to roll over her back to mount Sarah, and hit her with some ground and pound!

Sarah's screams of pain and rage echoed throughout the arena. It would be like the sound of a trapped animal thrashing and howling to get free from its cage. The Queen of Brawl was absolutely livid that Jessica had managed to get her into such a hold having just been in control of the match seconds earlier. She kicked and she thrashed in her attempts to break free but that only managed to torque the armbar even further, making her howl in frustration. The pain in her arm continued to mount as Jessica worked the hold expertly and Sarah realized that even if she got out of this her arm would be hurting for a good while afterwards. Hardly the most technical of fighters Sarah had no idea how to get out of this particular hold.

It turns out Jessica would help her out with that task by actually releasing the hold herself. Sarah's arm was aching but at least it was free from further agony though Sarah couldn't guess why Jessica had released her until she was hauled to her feet and flipped head over heels! "UGHH!!" Sarah grunted, sailing through the air for a second before coming crashing back down to the mat. The redhead didn't even have time to realize what had happened before Jessica had rolled into a mount position. Then came the first punch.

"UUUGH!!" Sarah cried out, the blow nailing her square across the face. Her brawler's instinct kicked in then and she immediately raised her arms in a guard position in an attempt to block the rest of Jessica's attacks. She was only partly successful. With one of her arms aching and sore she couldn't block every punch. About half of them found their way past her guard, battering upon Sarah's face. The redhead grunted and cried out from each one while a stream of blood began to drip from her mouth

Jessica kept the punches coming. Every single one of them came with the righteous anger that Jessica felt for her opponent. For years and years, Jessica had been cutting her teeth here at LAW, in wrestling rings all over the midwest, across the globe to try and attain even a fleeting glimpse of success. Sarah couldn't just waltz in here and expect to take everything from her just by showing up, no, far from it. And Jessica was happy to teach that lesson with every fist that crashed downwards.

Some of them didn't hit their mark completely, as Sarah managed to get a guard up. But enough of them were getting through, enough that blood the same color as Sarah's red hair started leaking from the side of her mouth. Every blow felt like righteousness coming down to earth. And for a woman who was so rarely preoccupied with concepts like getting what one deserved, Jessica sure was spending a lot of time and energy on making those fists fly down to Sarah's face.

But there was no way that the old Jessica would stay down for long. She tried to time it so that she could latch onto Sarah's wrists in between punches to catch her off guard. From there, she would attempt to pin Sarah's fists down to the mat. From there, she would loom over her opponent, her purple face shrouded by her long purple locks yet still glowing with malevolence. She then tried to spit right on Sarah's face.

Sarah had been on the wrong side of a ground and pound many times in her life so this wasn't exactly a position she wasn't used to. She knew you either blocked the attacks or ended up a stain on the floor. Unfortunately for her Jessica had done her the disfavor of weakening one of her arms so her guard wasn't as strong as it could have been. As a result, first blood drawn was given to the Violent Violet as Sarah started to bleed from her mouth, a particularly nasty punch having split her lip. It wouldn't slow Sarah down though, for if there was one thing Sarah was used to it was taking a punch.

Sarah grit her teeth as the punches continued raining down, an old tactic that prevented others from easily knocking a tooth loose, and tried to wait out Jessica's assault. Eventually she would get tired and that would be Sarah's moment to strike, battered as she was. But the purple haired fighter was trickier than Sarah thought. What she thought would be just another punch was actually an opportunity to seize Sarah's wrist. Before Sarah even knew what was happening her other wrist was seized as well and soon enough both were were pinned to the mat. Growling in frustration Sarah would fix a heated glare up at the looming Jessica.

Then the spit struck her cheek.

For a moment Sarah went silent, as if disbelief had taken hold over what had just happened. Then the bubbling anger would burst forth in the form of a raging scream. "YOU FUCKING CUNT!!! I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU, YOU HEAR ME!?!?" Sarah eyes became wild and her anger would take hold of her in a furious scramble to break free of Jessica's pin. She thrashed about like a wild animal trying to use brute force to get free which, for a person as strong as Sarah Gatt, might actually be possible.

Jessica realized that there was so much that she could have done there. Her wrists were on the mat, and Jessica would have been able to do basically any move that she wanted from there. But Jessica did not want to simply win, she wanted to truly defeat her opponent in body but also in spirit. When they first got in the ring, they had started jawing. Admittedly, Jessica had started that, but Sarah was not going to win any sportswomen of the year awards. Nor was she going to be stuck in the pre-show given her onslaught at the start of the match.

But now, Jessica was getting a measure of revenge for both. The globule struck her cheek, and for a second, nothing happened as if the world was moving in slow motion. The Violent Violet could not contain her glee as Sarah reacted wildly to the spit that Jessica had just inveighed against her. She knew that she was losing her grip, but she also recognized that it didn't matter.

Sarah was thrashing to the point where Jessica could no longer contain her. For a second, she tried to maintain her grip to see if she could keep the redhead under her control, but that quickly proved to be a very foolish thing to try. Instead of wasting her energy hanging on, Jessica let go quickly and backed a few feet away as she stood up.

Once she found her feet, she spread her arms wide. "What's up?" She taunted.

There was no technique to Sarah attempting to escape Jessica's pin. No clever reversals or deep plan. Just pure unbridled rage. The Queen of Brawl thrashed about like a woman possessed, kicking and snarling and screaming profanities up at Jessica. Things that would make a sailor blush. Maybe it was the fact that her anger had given Sarah a burst of strength or maybe it was because Jessica had become unnerved holding down such a violent woman but either way Sarah would begin to force her way out of the pin little by little. Finally when Jessica gave up the effort Sarah's wrists would be freed and with a snarl Sarah would make her way to her feet again.

Once on her feet again Sarah discovered Jessica had put a good deal of distance between them, which was good for her because Sarah would have clawed her eyes out otherwise. Sarah's red eyes were wild and her teeth her ground together. No one had treated her with such disrespect since the days she had lived on the street when people spitting on you was almost a daily occurrence. Sarah had put that life behind her and she was not about to let some purple headed skank treat her this way.

Sarah bristled at Jessica's taunt and with another snarl she would charge the woman full force. Still working purely off her rage Sarah had no plan in mind; merely attempting to spear Jessica around the waist with the strength and speed of a linebacker.

Jessica wanted to get under her skin. Judging from the fact that Sarah had just inadvertently taught Jessica new combinations of curse words, it looked like her plan had not only worked but had worked flawlessly. So she stood there, arms almost as wide as her smile was as she waited for her opponent to make the next move. Whenever she got mad, she charged ahead and did something terribly foolish that almost always worked itself out to her detriment. And as she observed her opponent, she saw the unbridled rage that she so often recognized in herself come to the forefront, threatening to boil over into unspeakable violence.

When Sarah started moving at her, she hunkered down. As much fun as it was to play games with her redheaded opponent, Sarah would soon be flying at her. Jessica breathed in, and tried to time Sarah's footsteps. Those footsteps came with alarming speed, and Jessica dug her foot in. She could do this right, she knew that she could, but she would be relying on a little timing and a whole lot of luck.

She did not stop the spear. As the redhead struck her, she wondered if any human on earth would have been able to stop Sarah in her tracks right then and there, and Jessica certainly did not feel like putting her body on the line and trying. Instead, she flowed with the spear, even slightly jumping as she did so in order to wrap her long legs around the body of her brutal opponent. But that was only half of the equation. The other half was ensuring that her arm could loop around Sarah's neck, so that she secure a guillotine choke in her closed guard.

Like a charging bull who had seen red Sarah rushed straight at Jessica with a wild look in her eye. The ref, the audience; hell, the whole damn league was forgotten by Sarah at this point. There was only the rage and using it to rip the Violent Violet apart limb by limb. Were Sarah in a calmer state of mind she might have come up with even a semblance of a plan but now she was acting on instinct. Right now every instinct was screaming at her to rush Jessica with full force.

So that's exactly what she did. Stomping across the mat with the intension of tackling her with enough force to maybe plow right through her, Sarah aimed to take Jessica down to the mat so she could really lay into her. Closer and closer she got and it didn't look like Jessica was going to move. Maybe Sarah's anger had shook the girl? It didn't matter. Sarah was happy for the opportunity.

Only the opportunity never came. Instead of Jessica's body crumpling before her power Sarah felt practically nothing but air when she slammed into her. There was no give or even a cry of pain. Instead as they fell to the mat she felt Jessica latch around her like a parasite. With a grunt she collapsed to the mat on top of Jessica but in the span of that time the girl had wrapped her legs around Sarah's waist and her arm around her neck. Sarah immediately attempted to pull out but the purple haired fighter had her locked tight. In trying to spear Jessica she had fallen right into her trap!

"Get the fuck off me!!!" Sarah snarled, gripping at Jessica's arm and trying to pry it off her throat while the rest of her body squirmed between her legs. Both attempts would probably be futile.

Jessica had her in there tight. There was something almost intimate about where the two wrestlers were at the moment, something that was rarely shared between two people on earth let alone two combatants. The intense brutality of LAW led to a mutual understanding as two souls became forever entwined by the shared affinity for savagery, directed at one another in a close way, invoking a feeling recondite on the earth since man first separated itself from nature.

Nature relied on instincts. A dog chasing a car does not understand why it is doing what it is doing, it simply does it. Similarly, now that Jessica had Sarah in her arms, she was going to squeeze with all of the might that she had in her muscles, coiled like pythons. There was probably a reason for it, locked in Jessica's reptilian hindbrain, learned in some class by some trainer or maybe from watching tape. That impetus was beyond words, beyond Jessica's conscious understanding.

There were some things that Jessica understood, however, on a much higher level. The first was that Sarah was gripping at the arm around her neck, trying to pry Jessica's forearm from her throat. She was squirming as well. The Violent Violet was not going to let go that easily. "Just fucking tap!" Jessica demanded, refusing to relinquish the hold that she had over her opponent.

Even though Sarah was on top of Jessica there was no advantage to be found in her position. Being choked by Jessica's arm and then squeezed by her legs left the Queen of Brawl little purchase. Her own blind anger had gotten her into this position and now it may have just cost her the match. The choke wasn't particularly brutal but any choke held long enough would eventually wear out the one it was latched onto. She was still furious of course and wanted to make Jessica a blood heap on the mat but for the moment blind rage was only hurting her here.

Sarah stopped struggling as hard as she had been as she forced calm upon herself. It wasn't easy but Sarah managed it for now. Rather than wear herself out trying to escape this hold with brute force the redhead decided on a different course of action.

Gritting her teeth Sarah would choose to remove one of her hands from the arm around her throat. It would make the hold a bit tighter no doubt but it would be a necessary sacrifice. For Sarah would clench her hand into a fist and start hammering it into Jessica's side, trying to force her purple haired opponent to abandon the hold entire. Sarah would do this as many times as necessary and if Jessica did release her the red head would end up rolling away from the Violent Violet for a bit of distance before attempting to rise to her feet again.
