Athena Wonder vs. Amy Evans - Battle of the Strong

By hitting at Amy's sides repeatedly, Athena finally managed to break free from the smother, but not before receiving a hit to her chest. Grunting in pain, the blonde veteran would move backwards, gasping for air as she struggled to recover, shaking her head while trying to breathe normally. Her eyes were still on her younger opponent so that she could see what she would do next.

"H-heh... t-that's what getting old gonna give you..." Despite her still recovering, Athena forced herself to smirk, displaying her confidence as she would try to rise back up, looking to regain her footing and bearing while preparing herself for whatever Amy would try to do next.

So Athena was going to keep going. Her old body telling her to be stubborn. Well that was fine by her but she was still going to kick her ass regardless of the reason that she was doing it. So instead she was going to let her get up again so that she could strike moving in to lock up with the big women once more to continue with the match.

"So lets see if getting older helps you with getting better at adapting against a stronger opponent." Amy taunted looking to take her down once more and try to overpower her outright now that she knew she had a lead. She didnt believe in superhero's and she would expose the women behind this legend one way or another.

Athena knew that she couldn't face Amy head on and directly. She had to be smart and sneaky about it, and being experienced in this kind of field, she knew exactly what to do here. Seeing Amy readying herself for another lock up, Athena would raise her arms, seemingly preparing herself for her next clash with her opponent. Surging forth, she would close in, but the moment she was close, she would fluidly slip to Amy's side, making sure to move past her opponent.

From there, Athena would move herself behind Amy, making sure to wrap her arms around her waist. Pressing her ample bust against her opponent's back, she would attempt to hoist her up and throw her over with a mighty German suplex, sending her crashing down onto the mat, landing on the back of her shoulders and back!

Amy was going to keep pressing and bringing Athena down with a few constant power moves and utilizing her own speed to keep her off her game. The Lion wanted to keep working on Athena with a straightforward attack but she forgot that not everyone thinks like her. If there not winning one way the smart thing to do was change there game up, which Athena did and slid past her getting behind the blonde and grabbing her before throwing her up with a German Suplex.

"Aggghh!" Amy hit the mat backfirst, and the impact forced her the wind out of her a bit while her head bounced off the mat as well. Amy's body would rest on her back and turn to her side while trying to recover, the move hurt but she had felt worse and if she had the chance she would be all over Athena soon enough.

Bringing Amy down with a German suplex, Athena would then pick herself so that she could see the state the blonde was in. Sporting a confident smile, Athena decided to continue with her assault as she would stand over Amy before bending down, looking to pull her opponent up. She was planning another move on her as she would get her opponent back on her feet before hooking her arm across her opponent's body.

After that, she would twist around, lifting Amy off her feet before throwing her down with an uranage slam. The impact should knock the breath out of the blonde, and after doing that, Athena planned to keep her body on top of Amy for a pinfall, though she wouldn't hook one of her legs as she did so.

Amy was moving to get back on her feet when she was set upon by Athena a second time, grabbing her waist to pull her up. Forcefully and before she could try and get up herself or recover, and her legs were a bit wobblily as a result causing athena to be able to keep her moving where she wanted. She was lifted up with a Uranage slam and she was brought to the mat with a slam.

"Aggh!" Amy coughed when she hit the mat, winded and unable to move anywhere before she was pushed back to the mat for a pin. Left on down the ref would go for a pin but since Athena didnt really hook any legs but Amy would still have enough in her to break the pin shortly after the count of one.

After slamming Amy into the mat with an uranage, Athena went for the pin, though she didn't hook her leg. After the count of one, Amy managed to kick out and break the pin, and the blonde veteran decided that she needed to inflict more damage on the younger woman in order to succeed in her attempt to take her out.

"You could at least accept your defeat and make it easier for the two of us," Athena told her opponent as she would rise up, grabbing onto Amy's head and pulling her back up onto her feet. After that, she would attempt to lift Amy's body up, preparing herself to bring her down onto her propped-up knee, back first, hitting her with a backbreaker!

Amy kicked out with ease but Athena didnt give her a moments rest grabbing her the moment she was back on her feet and forcing her to stand up in front of her. The slam had mostly worn off its effects but she was still in a bad spot being pulled in close and lifted up, with only one destination in mind. That destination being Athena's knee which Amy hit back first.

"Fuuck!" Amy cursed out as her back was impaled by the knee. The impact almost felt like it was gonna shatter her spine as the big lion laid on it shifting in place in and trying to adjust to the difficult situation.

Bringing Amy back first onto her knee, hitting her with a backbreaker, Athena knew that her opponent was in pain after taking the hit. Still having the younger woman's body draped over her knee, she would then rise back up, holding onto Amy's body as she decided to go for something even greater than before. This time, she would try to bring Amy right onto her shoulders, placing her into a fireman's carry in preparation for her next move.

But first, Athena would display her strength as she would parade Amy around in the ring before she stood in the middle of the ring. If there was no resistance from her opponent, Athena would throw her forward, sending the younger woman down onto the mat with a fireman's carry slam, targeting her aching back.

Though she was stunned by the backbreaker, Athena opted not to go for another move from there. Instead she would go and grab her, force her up in the air and then attempt to lift her up using the power she was exceptionally known for. Despite Amy's own size she was easily lifted up and brought around Athena's shoulders before she was straight up just lifted up all the way in a bit of showboating. But Amy wasnt something that could be just used like that.

Taking too long in lifting her up in the way she did she would start to wiggle out and try to get behind her. Hoping to land behind her and get free before she was dropped a different way. If Amy was successful she would land there and throw an elbow to Athena's back
