Updates and Plans for the Openweight/Lawless Titles

New Mod

Hey everyone! Some of you are familiar with me in the Discord server, but to reintroduce myself: My name is Faeron and I've been a moderator in the Discord server for I believe almost a year now. Making this post for a couple of announcements. First and foremost is that I am now Moderator for the LAW forums! This means that now I can help set up special events and also clear first timers in the forums! I hope to continue helping out the old mods V and Ducky as things get progressively busy. Much like in the Discord, if there are any issues then please let me know!


Openweight and Lawless Championship Situation

So anybody whose been in the forums for long know have been aware of the two vacant spots in the front page concerning the Openweight and Lawless titles. The general idea was to create a healthy pool of title contenders which we were able to gain prior to Covid. As the pandemic did a good job of slowing down a large chunk of the userbase, I believe that a lot of us are finally getting back into the swing of things and with permission from Winner, I've decided to take it upon myself to start planning to finally fill the vacancies for the two titles, the question being however: which ones to go first?

This is where you come in. I've created a strawpoll to decide if we should start finding the inaugural Openweight or Lawless champion first. As the current annual PPV is still being worked on, this is something that's still not gonna go into full effect, but I'm someone who likes to try and plan ahead and I'd like to get interest going leading up to the event. So please cast your votes below and by the end of October 3rd, I'll begin the planning phase.



Final Thoughts

The current pandemic has affected us in a myriad of ways worldwide. Despite this setback, I feel that we've continued to stick by each other and grew as a community as a result. Sure there's still a couple of sticklers around, but I feel that we are in a better place now than we were a year ago and I hope we continue this trend! In the meantime, I will continue to help out in anyway I can so please feel free to contact me if there is any trouble!

Bit late with the announcement but, I just wanted to say that after a close race: it seems that we will be deciding the fate of the Openweight title first! Thanks to all who voted, please stay tuned as we work out further details!
