Teams Meeting Up

Alaina was sent flying to the ropes, bouncing off and running at Navi. She looked on in shock as Navi was strong enough to push her 167lbs up into the air and even more horrified as she twisted her by the legs. Alaina crashed down with a loud scream of pain as she landed on the mat, moaning loudly in agony!

Tina was also hurting as Melody pulled her away from the ropes and jumped up. Tina wasn't having any of this. She bent her legs to get underneath Melody and grab hold of her, trying to send her hard to the mat with a makeshift version of her own finisher the tiger bomb!

Right as Melody fell onto the mat, with Tina's head in her arms, the Tigress would swiftly escape, managing to get underneath the greenette!

Shocked by the swift counter, Melody put her legs underneath her to not fall on her back...but that would prove to be a mistake, as Tina would grab hold of her, and lift her up into the air, before slamming her down right on her back with a Tiger Bomb!

With Navi successfully putting Alaina down for the count with her finisher, she would feel her arms hurting from having to push a woman like Alaina into the air. Taken by the heat of the moment, she dropped on top of Alaina, feeling the canvas of the ring shake from another impact, assuming Melody nailed Tina with her Leaf Blade! In her confusion, she started counting the pin after hooking her leg:

"ONE!"

Alaina cried out in pain, weakly wriggling about as the count began! She was hurting badly from the move. The former great taken down by a knee and powerbomb when she was relatively fresh. As the count continued to two and three she was left laying there wondering what else she had to do to regain even half of what she was.

Tina had folded Melody over after her tigerbomb, and had begun her own count as Navi had effectively devastated Alaina in one hit. Tina shouted aloud as her partner was pinned. She reached two, hoping she could keep Melody down as Navi's count was also at two!

"TWO!", Navi screamed, her shout drowning Tina's as she simply continued the count on the pinned Amazon...

Meanwhile, no matter how much Melody wriggled, she wasn't able to force Tina off of her in anyway shape or form, to tired to push herself up and kick the Tigress off of her. As such, the final count came with both Alaina and Melody pinned down...

"THREE!", Navi cheerfully shouted the final count and almost leapt through Alaina with a massive smile on her face. Sure, she didn't beat her rival for the Middleweight TOurney, but beating her old teacher filled her with almost the same amount of excitement...

...but, once she turned to Tina, she saw the Tigress doing the same thing to her partner as the brunette got off of Melody. Navi finally remembered that neither her nor Alaina were the legal ladies in this case:

"Oh...crap..."

Alaina felt dejected and defeated for going down so easily. The big woman laid on her back, weakly kicking the mat a couple more times as her leg trembled.

Tina got up from Melody and looked over at Alaina and Navi in shock as she saw what she considered an unlikely sight. Navi standng victorious over Alaina. All Tina could do was look and blink in a continued state of surprise.

Melody groaned as Tina got off of her, turning on her stomach, and rubbing her sore back as she was completely spent after the spar between the two teams. She turned her head over to Navi only to see the downed Alaina, realising that Navi likely held the Amazon at bay, likely meaning she expected Melody to kick out on her own. Dissapointed with herself, she turned face-down towards the canvas...

Meanwhile, Navi stood face to face with Tina, both with shocked look on their faces. Navi completely forgetting that the Tina and Melody were the legal women in the ring, while Tina was surprised over the smaller blonde managing to stand victorious over Alaina.

Not having anything to say over her stupid mistake, Navi outstretched her hand to Tigress:

"Pretty sure you won. Congrats...fuck me, I'm dumb...don't even think this is how it would end in the tourney", Navi said with a defeated voice to the victorious Tina.

Tina knelt down and offered Alaina a hand. "Ya pinned a fresh amazon in like 2 moves. I thought that was impossible." Tina said to Navi, forgetti g that Alaina was right there.

"It was. At least once upon a time but obviously not anymore." Alaina added accepting the help and clearly sounding dejected. She told herself it was just a spar. In a match she would have kicked out.... or was that just an excuse or denial? Alaina sighed and walked to the ropes, leaning on then and facing out into the gym. She was a shadow of her former self, and had a lot of work ahead of her.

Tina kept close to Navi. She wished she could have faced her more. She hoped the tournament ahead would offer her that chance.

With Tina moving in to help Alaina, Navi did the same for her friend, quickly helping her up. Upon getting to her feet, the greenette put her hand to her face, facepalming to herself for her failure in the spar, being the de facto loser of the match. Considering she lost to another competitor in the Middleweight Tourney, she saw it confirmation of the fact that she was nowhere near ready for the main event yet, let alone the Middleweight title...

Melody wanted to say something to cheer Alaina up after Alaina spoke, but, opening her mouth, she wouldn't quite know what to say...

Navi on the other hand, decided to let Alaina know her opinion on the situation:

"Stop feeling sorry for yourself! Is that what the Amazon does when she is defeated, let alone in a sparring match? She just gets sad? Because that's not the Alaina Sanders I grew excited about training me, that I researched on tapes online when our trainer told us she was taking a week off. That's not the woman who powerbombed the hell out of anyone standing in her way, collelcting every belt she could along the said way. And if she lost? She just came back, stronger than ever!"

"It's been less than 6 years between LAW and your last match before that. Are you telling me all it takes for a woman to lose her fighting spirit is 6 measly years of retirement?!", Navi told very bluntly to the veteran, Melody just standing silent, angry at her friend's words, and ready to apologize on her behalf...

Alaina was silent for a moment before turning back to face Navi. "You have a point but you mistake disappointment with me feeling sorry for myself. It may have been dumb on my part but I thought I could get back to my old form more quickly. Maybe 6 years off and having 2 kids took more out of me than I thought." Alaina said with a head nod.

"I know In have a lot of work ahead of me to even be half of what I was. I just hold myself to a high standard where losing is simply not an option." Alaina added to Navi matter of factly, not sounding angry but understanding of Navi's words.

Melody sighed in relief as Alaina respectfully replied to Navi, without a hint of anger in her words. Navi herself was glad to hear those words, smiling as she replied to Alaina: "I don't believe it would take that much work. Just you wait, in less than a year, you will be the most dominant woman in LAW...only to lose to myself", Navi confidantly told Alaina, keeping a sly smirk on her face as she finished:

"But for now...", Navi said, looking at Tina: "I'll see you at the Middleweight Tourney"

After Navi finished saying all she wanted to each of the Thundergirls, Melody would decide it was her turn to speak: "What are you going to do know? For me and Navi, workout is out of question after a spar like this..."
