Kayla stood in the mirror with a grin on her face, tightening her gloves. She hadn't had the best of luck in her LAW career thus far, and she was hard at work getting back on track with her training after her match with Thunder Ryuko had shown her she had more to learn than she had given herself credit for. But she felt good about this one. All the practice she'd been doing on her own would surely pay off now!

But, of course, Kayla wasn't alone this time. Her long-time tag partner Ashley was here too - the two were due for a tag team match! Not just that, but a two out of three falls one! Apparently, the people in charge backstage were impressed with what they'd seen from Kayla and Ash in the ring, and they wanted to give them more time to showcase that. Kayla wasn't quite sure why; the team hadn't exactly been making waves in the promotion. But she wouldn't complain either way. If she could show off what she was capable of here, she might be able to change that!

That is, if her partner would cooperate.

Kayla was certainly reminded of Ashley's more easy-going and playful antics, as the redhead came up behind her and threw an arm around her shoulder, leaning in with a grin. "Whaddaya say, Kay? You ready to bust some heads tonight?"

"Oh, I'm ready, all right..." she muttered with a nod. "Just don't screw this up, okay?"

"Whaaat? Geez," Ash said, rolling her eyes. "You can be a real hardass sometimes, huh? I barely get to see you any more with how much time you spend at the gym. Don't ya get tired after a while?"

"At least I'm actually working," Kayla replied.

"Why would I need to work when I'm already good?" As she winked to Kayla, Ash leaned over even further, practically draping herself over her partner's shoulder. Kayla met this with a less than impressed glance out of the side of her eye.

"Right. Okay. Anyway...you ready?"

"Babe, I was born ready!~" Flashing a grin, Ashley placed her hat on her head as she tossed Kayla her own. "Let's get out there and put on a good show!"

As the lights dimmed on the stage, Ashley and Kayla made their appearance arm in arm, proceeding to the ring. Ash slapped a few high-fives on the way down, and even Kayla had to concede to a couple, but for the most part she kept her eyes on the ring, preparing herself for the moment of truth. Getting up on the ring apron, Kayla took off her hat, sunglasses, and Hawaiian shirt and passed them to her partner, who similarly prepared herself before she helped Kayla through the ropes and into the ring with a slap on her rear for good measure, something that caused the middleweight to groan, but she got into position nonetheless.

Miss Fortune was more than just a name, it was a lifestyle. The once cocky arrogant rich bitch had not done well 2nd time round on her wrestling career. Madison (her real name) had become little more than a jobber despite her wishes to be the greatest wrestler ever. Her intentions were clear, beat everyone, have the best moves, the best finishers and the best look. She wanted legions of adoring fans, the money, fame, the pick of anybody she desired. It was all a pipe dream. The wrestler couldnt figure out what went wrong. To everyone else it was obvious. She no longer had her fathers considerable wealth. She wasnt having very talented wrestlers paid off to job to Madison, and most of all, she no longer could hide the very obvious gap in her skills.

Madison plainly sucked in the ring. She struggled against the newest rookies, and boy did it show!

As the redhead sat on the locker room, she sighed. What was going to happen tonight? Who was she paired with? Lots of questions, but no answered. Dressed in her mafia gear, underneath the same pinstripe suit bikini and black knee length boots. she heard the door and turned to face whoever entered.

Miss Fortune uttered one word.

"CRAP!"

A chuckle emerged as a response.

"You should be happy, you might actually win tonight."

There in the doorway stood Melody White. Dressed in her classic rocker gear, Melody was by far the wrestler with the most attitude in LAW. She was reasonable in the ring, had the fans that Madison desired and most of all, she had a string of wins.

Madison got up and approached with the sneer on her face.

"Just dont get in my way tonight bitch!"

Melody was unphased and casually chewed her gum. She blew a bubble as she rocked from side to side on her hips. As the bubble popped, she slurped it back into her mouth, chewing loudly.

"Get in your way? You mean don't help you when you are flat on your back with a girls ass on your face?"

Madison was enraged and slammed a hand on the doorframe.

"Fuck off you runt!"

"Haha. Did I hit a nerve? I mean you are the Queen of the facesit, but it aint you on top, I should have them introduce you as the smother toy."

As the pair went at it, they got their cue. Both headed to the ring area to some generic rock music. Melody exploded through the curtain to a roar from the crowd. She was in her element, every cheer and reaction annoyed Madison more and more.

She lurked behind the rocker with a face like thunder. Melody approached and slid in under the ropes and grabbed a mic which was customary. Melody's skill on the mic matched her in ring acumen.

"WHATS UP LLLLLAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! Your favourite rock star is back, but I have to say, the backing band tonight are really.... ya know?"

Miss Fortune stomped up the ring steps and stood in the corner, scowling at Melody. The redhead was being upstaged before she even made a move. Melody meanwhile continued.

"But less of little red riding hood over there, I want to talk about you girls.."

*Points to Kayla and Ash*

"You pair look awesome, those outfits are rockin. I love them, and getting my hands on you is going to be a whole lot of fun, but I need to ask a favour. See, my tag partner is a little nervous tonight, she doesnt do so well with tag matches... or any match for that matter, so can you two go easy on her?"

The crowd roared with laughter to which Madison stomped into the ring to try and grab the mic from Melody.

The struggle continued much to the ref's confusion, the match hadnt even started and the team of Maddy and Melody was already showing no team spirit. Melody managed to evade Madison enough to get space and turn to Kayla and Ash and off mic continue her chat

"So yeah, lets rock it girls and dont worry about her, I might just be too preoccupied with the fans to help her haha!"

Melody winked at Ash and Kayla and approached the ref who had just about calmed Miss Fortune down. Melody kept her distance at the corner and poked a tongue out at her tag partner. This was not going to be an easy night for the redhead wannabie

As the opposing team made their entrance, Ashley leaned over Kayla's shoulder, watching as Melody greeted the crowd. Her eyes were wide, and so was the grin across her face. This was her first time laying eyes on Melody, but it was enough to tell her that she liked her style. Loud, cheerful, attention-getting...it was everything Ash took pride in being. "Damn! I like this girl."

"I was afraid you'd say that," Kayla answered in a curt mutter. Indeed, as soon as Melody had arrived, she felt something sink in the pit of her stomach. She already had enough trouble with Ash on her side of the ring; now she had to deal with another one as an opponent? It wasn't a task she envied.

Though she did have to admit, she smiled a little as she heard Melody compliment their outfits. It was good to know she was making a good impression, and she looked over to meet eyes with her partner to confirm this - where she was met with an eager elbow from Ash in response. But at the offer to go easy on Miss Fortune, she had to pause. Kayla wasn't typically one to pull any punches, even if Ash was more interested in goofing around than giving it her best shot in a serious competition. But would she compromise her ideals?

"Ehh...we'll try!" Ashley responded, winking and sticking out her tongue in a taunt that drew some more laughter from the crowd. Kayla groaned at this, but she stepped closer, meeting up with the other team in the center of the ring.

"I acknowledge we haven't had the best of luck either - but we're looking to change that! We're going to give it our all tonight, and we'll prove that we belong in this ring!" Kayla said in response. She straightened her back, putting on a bold face, and trying not to let the antics of the two lightweights get to her.

The stage had been set. Madison had been shown up and was ready to take it out on whoever she got her hands on first. Melody simply stepped through the ropes and waved and angry redhead on. Miss Fortune growled and turned to face either one of the SoCal girls. She couldnt contain her need to show that she wasnt a total jobber.

"OK one of you get in here and get what is coming to you!"

The crowd settled and got ready for what seemed like a really even match. Two team members who were firecrackers on either side, two others who were cautious. The ref girl checked with a glance at both corners and waved a hand to signal for the bell. Miss Fortune raised her hands and was just about to step out to look for an advantage when there was a loud SLAP!

She flinched and turned sharply. Melody stood at the corner looked as innocent as possible. Madison was in no mood for games.

"You hit me, what the hell you little cow?"

As she gestured and turned her anger at Melody it did one of two things. Firstly it completely distracted Miss Fortune from her gameplan, and secondly, it also meant that she was no longer the legal woman. The ref hadnt realised it constituted a tag, however unorthodox. Melody didnt care if she wrestled one, both or all of the So Cal cuties, she just wanted to screw with her partner and do all she could to add to her humiliation.

As Madison continued to take issue with Melody, the rockstar played to the crowd raising her hands in a submissive manner, at the same time smirking at the redhead

"Did I hit you? Nah didnt see it, but ya know....maybe you should concentrate on the ring?"

Instead of taking the warning, Madison simply lost her cool.

"AGGGG DONT TELL ME WHAT TO DO!"

Given the ref hadnt yet called Melody active, it meant the So Cal girls had free reign to attack a oblivious Miss Fortune

With everyone taking their places, it was time for the two teams to choose which of their number would be first in the ring. The Californians wasted little time in determining that Kayla, who seemed confident and eager enough, would go first. For a moment, it seemed like Miss Fortune would take a similar role for their opponents - that was, until just as soon as the bell had rang out. A few seconds later, the air was cut with another noise from the loud crack of palms striking faces. But rather than coming from two rivals, as one might expect, this came from Melody into her own tag partner!

"...Huh?" Kayla could only look on at this and blink with confusion, finding herself just as baffled at Miss Fortune herself was. Despite the two women being on a team together, they seemed to have more ill will toward each other than their opponents. Kayla stood, watching idly as the two bickered. Ashley leaned in closer, chuckling at the display. "Man...these two are something else."

"They're...something, alright," Kayla replied. While at first she was perplexed, she soon realized what it was she was seeing. While she and Ash had been working, training, and wrestling with one another for some time, Madison and Melody had no such edge. In fact, their lack of cohesion would surely make things harder for them, and that was something the Californians could use for leverage! Seeing her chance, while Madison's back was turned, Kayla came running closer, looking to open things strong with a spear into the redhead from behind!

While Madison stayed red faced and frustrated at her supposed tag partner, Melody knew exactly what she was doing. She simply played to the crowd by turning her back so she could face them, at the same time she hitched up her very short skirt and spanked her own ass. Melody smirked as the flesh jiggled, she wasnt a big girl but she had enough to smush the face of anyone caught under her rear. What it did was grow the crowd appreciation of the rocker and further antagonise the redhead.

Mel also figured at least one of the So Cal cuties may just get a good eyeful!

Miss Fortune lost her cool. She stomped forward and with both hands shoved Melody hard.

"GAH!

The rockstar tumbled off the apron and landed with a THUD. She groggily lay on her chest on the thin mats much to the displeasure of those who had taken a shine to Melody.

Miss Fortune meanwhile looked pleased with her actions. It was short lived. As she turned she was met head on by Kayla.

"AGGHHHH!"

Melody tumbled back down hard to the canvas with Kayla. The redhead lay there gasping with the So Cal wrestler between her thighs. All the downed wrestler could do was instinctively paw for the back of Kayla's head. If she could, Miss Fortune would look to pull the girls face between the redheads D cup assets. it wasnt anything like a real smother or held with any strength but Miss Fortunes prime gameplan was to try to use her body to the best of her advantage. The crowd would certainly react but it was Kayla that was in the position of control despite having her head plunged to the soft valley of the former sorority girl.

Those in the audience weren't the only ones amused by Melody's antics, as it didn't take long for Ashley to find a kindred spirit - and that was something that certainly tickled her fancy. Giggling, the redhead winked to her, climbing up on the turnbuckle with a wave and a grin. "Hell yeah, girl! You show 'em what you got!" Playing along with this, she gave a playful slap to her own rear, soaking in the attention - or at least grabbing some of that spotlight for herself.

Lost in her own showboating, she wasn't paying much attention to what happened next - as Madison shoved her own teammate off the apron, leaving her to land on the floor below. Kayla wouldn't notice that either, but for different reasons in her case! Rather, she had come charging in, throwing herself headlong into Miss Fortune as the two collided!

The two skidded back across the ring, with Kayla taking the top position. From here, she thought, she could push the advantage; she was in a good spot to secure a hold, or get in some ground-and-pound in on her captive audience. But before she could do any of that, Kayla was taken by surprise, as Madison suddenly reached out and took hold of her head to steer her face between her breasts!

"MMF-!?" Serious and competitive as she was, Kayla was quite confused by the gesture - though many in the crowd didn't mind either way, as they showed their appreciation with some cheers and laughs. Kayla's face lit up red and hot against Miss Fortune's chest. She didn't like having her advance turned into the subject of mockery, and she would quickly try to take back control, as she pushed herself back up before going to slide forward and get her legs around Madison's ribs to hold down a bodyscissor!

Miss Fortune resorted to the cheapest of tactics, it was something that would usually be found in a lewd night club, perhaps with oil or mud, the problem was, this was LAW. Although matches had a liberal helping of lewdness, there were some skilled and competitive wrestlers on the roster. The SoCal tag team were just that, up and coming, skilled and set to make a name for themselves in LAW. As the redhead lay on her back taking in deep breaths, she felt her rivals face nestled between her ample assets. The crowd response gave Miss Fortune a spark, however her earlier jealousy with Melody meant that she was on her own

It didnt take long for Kayla to break out of the smother and wrap a scissor on the New Yorker.

"AGGHHHH!"

Miss Fortune struggled and her eyes nearly popped from her head. Kayla had a steel set of thighs and they were crushing the air from the redheads lungs. The jobber queen wrestler writhed and squirmed, alternating between slapping her hands on Kayla's thighs and reaching for the ropes. They were just finger tips away. Had she stuck in her corner, she may reach for a tag or the safety of the plastic coated cables, but now, she was in trouble.

The crowd clapped and tried to give both wrestlers a boost. Miss Fortune however was going to have to rely on her wits

"Ugh whats wrong, didnt like it being smothered? Then you... ugh.. are gonna hate later on!"

A cheap comment but Madison hoped it would distract the SoCal wrestler enough to disguise the fact that the redhead made the equally cheap move of digging her nails into the girls leg in a bid to escape

Were Miss Fortune up against Ashley, whose wrestling background indeed could be traced back to such areas, she might have found more kindred spirits. But she was instead facing Kayla, who had learned her craft in high school and college gyms, and who took wrestling more seriously than anything! She wasn't happy with being upstaged by the redhead's flaunting, and she made that known by the glare she shot down at her foe - as well as the crushing pressure she put down against her ribs!

Keeping her palms against the mat to brace herself, Kayla leaned in closer, her legs wrapped in place and tightening like a vise as she focused her attention on wringing the air from her opponent's lungs. Her eyes locked onto Madison's, her gaze piercing. "You're so sure about that? So far...it looks like one of us is fairing better!"

The difference in tactics the two girls had used was visible even this early in the game. While Madison had gone for a simple and low-effort technique that had done more damage to Kayla's pride than her lungs, the Californian was firing on all cylinders with her knowledge of hard-hitting moves and submission holds. And Kayla was pretty sure in any battle, her style was going to win out! What she hadn't accounted for, however, was that Miss Fortune had more dirty tricks in store. Suddenly, she felt her nails dig into the skin of her leg, breaking her composure long enough to bring Kayla to ease up on her hold! She let out a cry of pain, her legs going loose around Madison as she doubled over forward. Though she remained on top of the redhead, she would at least not be holding her as tightly, and Madison could easily slip away while Kayla was stunned.

The dirty trick worked and Miss Fortune found a small gap in the vice like crush from Kayla. One thing was for sure, the girl was a talented and dangerous wrestler. The redhead was way out of her depth against someone with ring smarts, and she needed to escape. The comment from Kayla still darted around the New Yorkers head,

What did she mean?
Did she like the lewd moves?

It totally threw Miss Fortune off her game, and it didnt help that both Kayla and Ashley were cute!

Eventually Miss Fortune wiggled and pushed at Kayla to rudely shove the SoCal wrestler off her. With that she scrambled back toward her corner and reached out a hand......

..... Melody by now had gotten up and stood there hands on her hips.

"Now you want to tag? You pushed me off the apron you slaggy cow!"

The crowd meanwhile revelled in the dysfunction between the two, many of them started a chant for Melody to tag in and show her skills. Miss Fortune looked up pleadingly seemingly desperate to get out, recover and then tag back in once the SoCal wrestlers were too weak to resist an easy pinfall.

It was typical Madison, she couldnt wrestle out of a wet paper bag!

With no tag coming, Madison got up to her feet and slapped Melody as payback, right across her full chest.

"HEY! What the?"

The ref girl however saw it and called the tag. Madison smirked and stepped out of the ring as Melody got in, all fired up and ready for a scrap. She turned to Kayla and rocked casually from side to side on her hips.

"Time for a change missy, I want the little firecracker!"

Melody grinned an winked at Ashley. The rockstar was going to enjoy this, sensing that she too could be a dynamite package where the pair could really go all out, and get a little closer
