Deku gulped and fiddled with his ring gear backstage as he nervously prepared for his second match in LAW. Well technically it was his third given it followed his tag match with his childhood friend but... he preferred not to think about that.
Instead he chose to look to the future, and not his so far dismal start in LAW. Well by look to the future he really meant worrying nervously and insistently about it as he thought about his next match. Thankfully unlike his debut opponet he had SOME information to work with. Her name was Koto, and she seemed to speacialize in highflying but was also skilled in submissions, that was something he’d need to watch out for. She also seemed fairly durable given how long she lasted against her own debut opponet.
Gulping to himself he slapped his cheeks lightly to prevent himself from going into full on ‘panicked muttering mode’ as the backstage staff of LAW had called if. Something that made Deku blush just from the thought of it. Instead he focused on hypong himself up. ‘Ok ok you can do this. You can do. You can win.’ He thought to himself while shaking his head before snapping up nesring his music start up.
”Crap! Crap! Crap!” He said to himself rushing to the guerilla position to make his entrance.
Making it there in time he ran out aa the crowd roared from his apperance. Thankfully his performance in his last two matches was at least enough to garner interest and even some fans to him. Even if it may have been for his looks apparently he was cute according to some social media posts he saw regarding him. Shaking the blush away he ran down the ramp, highfiving fans as he went and leaped up to land in a slide under the bottom rope before popping up to his feet.
Looking over to his opponet Deku would go to nod or say something to her before the match start but... ‘S-S-S-S-So m-m-much s-s-skin!!!!’ He thouhh to himself with a fierce blush as he saw her outfit, which must habe just been a basic, albeit very nice looking swimsuit. Knowing he couldn’t make a fool of himself though he forced himself to say something... while looking to the side, not meeting Koto’s eyes.
“L-L-Let’s h-have a-a g-good match.” He said quickly, thnkful he managed to squash his stutter a bit towards the end as he quickly side stepped into the corner, trying to control his nervousness before the match started proper.
