Re: Amy Henderson vs Finlay Zeffer - The Match That Started It All
As the spinebuster hit, Amy could feel the fire raging inside of her. She needed to end this while the coals were still hot, but she was worried that it still wouldn't be enough. Once again, she needed to soften him up just a bit more. She just hoped what she had in mind would be enough...
Pulling Finlay to his feet, Amy struggled to lift him up. Her goal was to get him in a Fireman's Carry. It was a huge gamble, since she was so exhausted and beat up. But if this succeeded, it would no doubt wreck his morale, and do some nasty damage. She had to take the risk.
Should she be successful in getting him up there, she would hold him for a second, unintentionally showing off just how strong she was, despite her condition. Then, assuming no counters were made, she would fall backwards, looking to slam him back to the canvas for a second time.

Re: Amy Henderson vs Finlay Zeffer - The Match That Started It All
"Agh.." Finlay couldn't help the sharp groan from escaping his lips as he arched his back a bit while squinting his eyes in pain. His back had taken a lot of damage in this bout, as a result his brain was full of fuzz as he struggled to try and sit up, his reaction time slow and his awareness.. not at it's best. Which meant Amy had a golden opportunity to take advantage.
As such, before he could get to his feet of his own accord, he was forced there by Amy, the pain in his back acting as a form of paralysis, preventing him from forming any form of retaliation as he was hauled onto her shoulders. His chest and stomach resting across his fellow blonde's shoulders, despite the incredibly bad position he was in, he couldn't help but find himself impressed, maybe even mildly attracted to the fact she could lift him up like this.
This feeling was only further amplified the moment the blue clad wrestler dead lifted him into the air, further emphasizing her strength leaving Finlay in a rare state of utter shock, however this was soon wiped away when she threw herself back, slamming his body back first into the mat once more with a resounding impact! "AGHHHHHHHHH!!! The scream of pain that was illicit from Finlay was heard all around the arena as his back arched and he writhed in pain from the shock of the fall.

Re: Amy Henderson vs Finlay Zeffer - The Match That Started It All
After slamming her opponent on his back with that big move, Amy was really starting to feel the adrenaline pumping. her whole body was killing her, but she also felt like she could bench press and entire freight train if she had to. Regardless of whether that was legitimately possible or not, Amy knew that it was now or never to end this match.
"COME OOOOOOON!" she screamed to the crowd, getting them to roar back to her. Then she grabbed Finlay by the head and pulled him back to his feet once more. Every part of her body was screaming, but she refused to succumb to it.
"Let's finish this, Finlay!"
Locking their shoulders together, she grabbed both of his legs and pulled him upwards. The result was Amy putting Finlay in a musclebuster position. But she knew she couldn't stop there. While still holding him up, she began to climb to the top rope. This feat was nearly impossible to do under normal circumstances, so how Amy was doing it now was would be something no one would be able to answer.
If the Kiwi had any hope left to win this match, he needed to get out of this, now.

Re: Amy Henderson vs Finlay Zeffer - The Match That Started It All
As Finlay lay flat on his back he groaned softly in utter pain and exhaustion from both the move Amy had hit him with, but also the match as a whole which left him near completely spent. It's why before he could even think about trying to get back up or forming a strategy he would gasp as he heard Amy's war cry. 'How does she still have so much energy?!' He thought to himself in complete and utter shock as she grabbed his head.
"Ugh... He groaned out as he was forced up to his feet by the middleweight, stumbling a bit as she pulled him up and pressed their shoulders together. W-what a-are, whoa!" At first the kiwi had no idea what the women was doing but he quickly found himself upside down following his legs being grabbed as she lifted him up in a most dangerous position, the ever so rare muscle buster.
"guh.. gra.. come on.."He groaned out as he struggled weakly in Amy's grip, but the position he was in as a result of the move left his options for struggling incredibly limited as he found himself trapped as she approached the corner. 'Oh no.' he thought to himself as she climbed them. Desperately kicking his struggling into overdrive Fin just didn't have the remaining stamina to do much of anything as he remained trapped in the blue clad babe's clutches!

Re: Amy Henderson vs Finlay Zeffer - The Match That Started It All
Amy continued to climb to the top rope. She could feel Finlay's struggles, but did her best to keep herself as balanced as possible. Taking a tumble now would most likely end the match for her, and not in a good way!
Finally, she made it to the top. Standing high with her back to the ring and Finlay up on her shoulders, everyone looked so small. As she huffed and puffed from exhaustion, she could hear, and see, the crowd cheering. Some of them were rooting for Finlay to somehow escape, while others were rooting for Amy to put the Kiwi away. Most of them, however, didn't want the match to end just yet.
But Amy couldn't afford for this match to go on any longer. She needed to end this now. And so, she closed her eyes, and jumped backwards. In a suplex that was as cool to look at as it was deadly, Amy smashed Finlay into the canvas with her finisher: The Hometown Special!
BAM!
The impact could be heard throughout the arena as both competitors slammed into the mat, hard. For a moment, Amy blacked out. Both wrestlers laid still on the canvas, unmoving. Then, with her last bit of remaining strength, Amy regained just enough consciousness to turn herself over and get her arm on top of Finlay's chest. It was all she could do to pin him down. If he kicked out of this, then she was ready to hand the win over to him. She was completely spent.

Re: Amy Henderson vs Finlay Zeffer - The Match That Started It All
Despite his struggles and groans of defiance Finlay was unable to do anything as Amy finally ascended to the top of the corner in prime position for this move. ‘Shit! Shit! Shit!’ He thought to himself desperate to do something to escape this but he just couldn’t.
The moments that ticked by next all happened in slow motion for the blonde. The moment her feet leaped off the top rope everything seemed to move at a crawl. The rapidly zooming out faces of the crowd, the ascending lights as they fell, even the churning of his stomach from the fall seemed to be going in slow motion.
That’s why, when they finally landed, the following impact seemed to have that much more to him as it all happened at once, the impact resounding through his body. Following the move landing Amy had released him letting him drop flat on his back. Needless to say Finlay was’t even able to scream out in pain due to how spent of energy he was from the match. In fact as they hit everything went dark and he blacked oit for a second as he landed back first on the mat.
For a agonizing few seconds everything was dark, and quiet, he was completely and utterly destroyed, the only sign of life from the kiwi being the slow rise and fall of his chest. Finally his eyes barely managed to flutter open, but barely so, and even then everything was dark, even his hearing only seemed to be at half effectiveness. Thats why he was only barely able to register the feeling of something on his chest. Without even needing to open his eyes Finlat knew if was some part of his opponet, be it her leg or arm, but no matter what part it was he knew it counted as a pin. But that move completely destroyed him. Even if he had the awareness or self control too he definitely jad nowhere near the energy to kick out ot even try too as the referee dropped down.
”ONE! TWO!! THREE!!!”
With that the bell rang officially ending the match in Amy’s favor.

Re: Amy Henderson vs Finlay Zeffer - The Match That Started It All
At this point, Amy wasn't sure what she was hearing anymore. Was the ref even counting? Was the bell even ringing? Was she even sure that she wasn't the one getting pinned right now? So many thoughts were flying through her head right now, and yet none of them were all that coherent. Regardless, no matter what she thought, she wasn't going to be moving any time soon. Her body was pretty much at its limits.
So when that final count hit, the bell rang, and Amy's hand was raised in victory, she could barely tell what was going on. But she would figure it out eventually, once her hand was raised long enough. She finally did it! She finally scored her first victory, here in LAW! What a better way to do it that with a match that had pushed her to her absolute limit! This was what she had wanted. This was the dream match she had been hoping for.
As she took a short nap on the canvas, a smile crept across her face. She was so happy right now, even if she wasn't totally there at the moment.

Re: Amy Henderson vs Finlay Zeffer - The Match That Started It All
Finlay was barely able to hear the bell ring from his current state and positoon. Completely and itterly drained from the match, that last move utterly decimating the blonde kiwi. As he faded in and out of conciousness he took consolation for the loss in the fact that he had done so in what could only be described a epic finale to a intense match.
Finlay wasn’t a bad loser by any stretch of the imagination, he was stoic and cold most of the time, but he always respected and gave credit to those that pushed him to his limits. Amy, more than anyone he ahd gone against so far had done that and then some. The same could be said for her, or at least he assumed so since he didn’t see her celebrating over him.
No he could tell they were both exhausted, it was a match of sheer will power and stamina and she oitlasted him, even if it was barely but she had. However he wouldn’t hold a grudge. Rather if or when they talkee again he would congrstulate her... before challenging her to a rematch. Yeah despite being willing to take the loss with grace he would definitely still be seeking retribution against the blue clad blonde.

Re: Amy Henderson vs Finlay Zeffer - The Match That Started It All
A few minutes pass by. The crowd is still cheering the two and applauding for a spectacular match. Although it wasn't exactly a big-time match, it had impressed them all the same. Soon, Amy would begin to stir, opening her eyes to the lights above. They were bright, but warm. She felt a sense of calm.
A minute more would pass, and eventually, she began to turn over onto her front. She would soon find herself looking up at her former opponent, who was still looking pretty out of it right now. The two had only known each other for the length of this match, and yet the blonde girl felt like he was already an old friend. This was the power of a great match, Amy guessed.
Crawling over to him, she attempted to shake him awake as she rose to her knees. "Hey... Finlay... You awake?"

Re: Amy Henderson vs Finlay Zeffer - The Match That Started It All
Following the massive impact of that muscle buster Finlay’s brain and nervous system had short circuited somehwat. He was concious, but also not concious. Just barely aware enough to process the closing moments of the match, but mot enough to do anything more. Even then shortly after the bell rang everything went dark..
For a few seconds at least. Or at least what felt like a few seconds hut it could have been longer, however the darkness and foggy thoughts were shaken away, literally by his former opponet. Blinking away the fuzzies he looked up and saw his opponet, er ex opponet hovering over him asking if he was awake.
Groaning slightly Fin nodded to give her a reaction as he slowly pushed himself up and leaned on one arm while the other rubbed his head. ”Ugh... barely. Are we still in the ring?” He asked groggily, a bit more amicable with her than he normally was with opponets following matches, but she earned that given the fight they had.
