Morgan Frey vs. Karla "Ray" Reinhardt - Ceaseless Struggle

Morgan Frey had been doing pretty great here in LAW, with her winning more matches than losing them, and she wanted to keep it up so that she could build herself up to be among the elites here in this promotion. For tonight, she would be facing a newcomer here in LAW named Karla "Ray" Reinhardt. Morgan was unsure what to expect from her, but whoever she was, she was planning to emerge victorious at the end of the match.

Clad in her purple bra and trunks, as well as detached sleeves and boots with the same color, with Garuda playing from the loudspeakers. The crowd cheered for the petite wrestler, and she displayed the same dispassionate looks on her face as she walked down the ramp. Of course, she flashed a few smiles here and there as she made her way down to the ring where she would wrestle tonight.

Soon, she reached the ring, and Morgan climbed up the apron and rolled under the ropes. Standing up, Morgan did a little warming up, preparing herself for the upcoming match. She needed to prepare herself for every possibility, knowing that her opponent was completely unknown to her. After she was done warming up, she went towards one of the corner so that she could wait for her opponent to make her entrance.

Lights would dim to the entrance of Karla, the start of theme havoc began to play. When the techno drop hit, the lights returned to normal and Karla was standing at the ramp-way. Leaning on a hip with her naughty grin that surveyed the audience. She didn’t care too much for appeasing them. They just need bear witness her upcoming win.

Then she went running down the ramp, jumping up to the apron and using the top rope to pull herself up. Now eyeing her opponent with that same grin, she slowly climbed into the ring. Trotting to the centre of the ring, she raised her fist — a sign which showed confidence in the result in the match. There was no doubt in her mind that she won’t win. Even if her opponent was unknown, and that she lacked experience, Karla felt she could win with her prior fighting experience.

As the ref gestured her to her corner, Karla stepped backwards until her back was against the turnbuckle, arms resting along the ropes.

“Good luck, you’ll need it.” Karla would call out loud, just as the theme began to end.

Morgan watched as her opponent made her entrance. She wasn't sure what she was capable of, but whatever her opponent had to offer, Morgan needed to prepare herself for anything here. Still having the same dispassionate look on her face, Morgan just nodded to the redheaded wrestler before her as she waited at her corner.

Only when the referee called for the two of them to the center of the ring that Morgan left her corner, rolling her shoulders for one last warm up before the match. She would keep her eyes on her opponent, Karla. The referee would give them a brief explanation about the rules, and once she made sure that they were ready, the referee would call for the bell, starting the match between the two lightweights.

Once the bell was rung, Morgan would take a stance, arms raised up and her legs widened a little. She was ready to engage her opponent in a lock up. She needed to ascertain what this Karla was capable of so that she could come up with something in order to defeat her. At the same time, the crowd was getting animated, all eager to see both of them wrestle in the ring.

Karla noticed their difference in height almost immediately and it founded some early ideas. She wasn't much for strategies, or plans, Karla knew how to think on her feet in the heat of the moment. For right now, her opponent's stone-wall complexion would give off nothing to work with, so Karla would maintain her haughty composure and wait for the bell. Then when it began, Karla’s right foot immediately slid back as they locked together like a chain vying for dominance in the centre of the ring. It was her first aim to gauge her opponent's strength as Karla would push for all she's worth. "Show me what you got, kleines mädchen!" Karla would taunt. Excitement was at its most palpable, she would enjoy crushing such a little figure.

No matter the result of their tie-up, Karla would try to break it as soon as possible. Abruptly, Karla's footing would shift so her right foot was forward and left back. Then instead of pushing, Karla would try to use Morgan's momentum to attempt to Irish whip her towards the ropes. Should it work, Karla would go the other direction, rebounding off the ropes so she can use the culminated momentum to try to swing her slightly bent arm to slip across Morgan's collar and catch her in a clothesline.

Finally locking up, Morgan immediately realized what Karla was planning as her opponent quickly broke the lock up. Still, there had to be something that she could do here as she would allow herself to be sent towards the ropes with an Irish whip. Sent running towards the ropes, Morgan would then hit the ropes, rebounding from them before seeing that Karla had moved towards the opposite ropes with the intention of using her own momentum to hit her with a lariat.

Seeing the attack coming, Morgan would duck under Karla's arm, avoiding the clothesline as she would run past her opponent. After that, she would move towards the ropes, stopping her momentum by grabbing onto the top rope before leaping up, looking to get her feet onto the top rope. From there, she would use the ropes as a springboard as she would then attempt to launch herself into the air, hoping to hit her opponent with a springboard splash, hitting her body with her own.

Then she swung, and yielded no cigar. She invested all she had into that swing, and fumbled over her own footing after the fact. "Shiesse..." She would curse. In what was an unseasoned misstep for a girl who had lacking experience, her plan ran was royally squandered, and she had no back-up, or foreknowledge. And when she turned around, Karla was caught with her pants down, and hit directly by a springboard splash. She couldn't predict such a sudden move to come at her like a train from above. Her body went full horizontal before slamming into the mat, shoulders and head first. Then her legs followed the momentum, practically rolling up with her waist elevating off the mat before smacking down with her legs.

Yet despite being slightly disoriented by this crushing whiplash that just took her brain from a spin, causing her to groan, she knew she had to get off the ground and quickly. So, soon after she fell with Morgan presumably crushing her to the mat, Karla attempted to get two hands beneath Morgan's abdomen to shove her off. If that was successful, Karla would try to assume her feet once more. With her left foot forward, Karla would shuffle forward; fists raised for a guard. Finally, in reprisal for that very unforgiving splash, Karla would throw a 1-2 punch sequence, attempting a left jab to the head, then throwing a right straight for the gut. Perhaps if she could wind Morgan, that'll take some kick out of her step. Because Karla knew boxing more than she did wrestling and she planned to use that tonight.

Running past Karla, Morgan then used the ropes to launch herself into the air before hitting her opponent with a springboard splash. Still, the impact wasn't enough to keep Karla down for long as she pushed Morgan off of her. Rolling herself off of her opponent, Morgan would quickly get herself back onto her feet, keeping her eyes on her opponent to see what she would try next.

Curiously, once Karla was up, she went for a boxing stance, and Morgan was forced to bring her arms right to her face to protect herself from Karla's punch. Still, her opponent managed to land a hit on her stomach, though she managed to step back at the last second, lessening the impact somehow. Still, it left her a little rattled as she would step back, putting some distance between the two of them.

Huffing out, Morgan would retake her stance, preparing herself for whatever Karla would do next. Hopefully, she would be able to counter whatever she would throw at her next. She needed to put her trust in her own reflexes if she had to deal with all those strikes.

Her attacks have measured up to be follies, the first one blocked, and the next one failed to meet its full merit. The footwork of her opponent seemed swift, while Morgan mounted a successful defense. She noticed that with awe, driving her excitement up three fold! It was making her wonder if Morgan had experience herself in boxing, or was simply acting on agility and professional instinct. With a gaze of raw focus, Karla would test these waters by seizing the initiative once again. Slowly strafing forward, moving in a zig-zag as a means to block Morgan's exits while masking the angle of her attack. It could happen at any moment, Karla was playing the spider on this one.

But it didn't have to wait long, as Karla tried to thrash Morgan's waist with her left boot in a side kick. It was hoped that Morgan would be stunned by Karla going for a kick instead, so she could rush forward and hook an arm over Morgan's head and bring her down head first for a DDT!

Morgan carefully watched her opponent's movements, seeing her approaching her in a zig-zag. It was hard to keep track of her opponent, but she managed to do so as she saw her opponent delivering her next attack in the form of a kick to her side.

"Nghhh!!"

Morgan grunted slightly as she took the hit, but the moment Karla's leg hit her body, she would quickly bring her hand onto her foot, trapping it, looking to force her opponent to stand on one foot.

From there, she would act fast, not wanting to get herself caught in a front facelock that could result in a DDT. Strengthening her hold on Karla's leg, she would give it a twist, trying to bring her opponent down with a dragon screw takedown!

Things seemed to be on the up-and-up for Karla who landed her first strike. Momentum was to be seized, and Karla was keen to blitz it. However, she didn't look too much to her defense, even when her leg was seized, her instincts told her to try to get the DDT first. That would bite her in the end as her leg twisted, causing Karla's body to roll and grow crashing into the mat. "GUH!!"

The whiplash caused by this sudden speedy smack would disorient her as she arched her back and put a hand on her spine. In the groan that would follow, Karla wasn't without a response as she still had one free leg. She attempted to counter any follow-up of Morgan's from her clean takedown by throwing her boot at Morgan rather aimlessly. By no means did she have good kicking techniques, and while still disoriented, she could only hope that it would land to carve out a bit of distance.
