Rough n'tumble

[Devastated]

Alyssa would get into the ring and rise up towards her feet, rolling her shoulders and cranking her neck to the right and left. She would eye the pink haired girl as she asked her how she wanted to play things and with it the blonde would simply shrug her shoulders. " Alright...I gotta admit I'm kinda in the same boat." Alyssa said as she would place her hands on her hips.

" How about best of three? Tap out or three second pin." Alyssa said as she would then bounce lightly on her feet. " As for a wager...I'm getting the feeling like loser buys dinner and beer." Alyssa joked as she would step forward and give Knuckles a confident lock as she would raise her arms up ready for a bit of a punch off with the pink haired woman.

Rosie nodded in agreement with the proposed rules, but then smirked when Alyssa offered up the wager. Giving an approving smirk and firm nod, Knuckles would respond, "Alright, I can live with that. Hope your purse goes deep, girly. Because I will splurge like you will not believe and you will absolutely hate me for it." She grinned, throwing up her arms to prepare for the fight.

Wiggling her eyebrows briefly, Rosie seemed to be giddy, in her element now as she said, "Alright, let's do this on three. One... two... three!" And then the pink-haired brawler would attempt to throw a few basic strikes at Alyssa, simply to gauge the blonde's reaction, seemingly feeling her out. She suspected that her sparring partner would know exactly what she was doing, given her supposed skill level, but that wouldn't stop Rosie from at least verifying that she did actually know a thing or two about boxing.

Alyssa would bounce a bit on her feet as she shook out her arms and then pounded her fists together. Readying herself up to square off against the pink haired fighter. She could tell from Rosie's physique that she was without a doubt a well trained looking girl, she had the physique of a woman who could put up one hell of a fight, the question was if she had the skills to do that.

Nodding her head as she would step froward and see Rosie do the same, throwing her arms up as Rosie started to send her punches towards her. Looking to block those incoming strikes and also bob an weave out of the way of whatever of those jabs meant to test her. Alyssa would try and respond to those strikes though, knowing a fair bit about boxing and striking from her training, Alyssa would try and slip a punch in as Rosie tried to nail her, weaving out of the way to try and smack Rosie in the face with a quick jab to the jaw and see how she'd take it.

Rosie Knuckles threw her punches, telegraphing them rather obviously for someone with talent in boxing. And then eventually, she noticed Alyssa throwing a jab in her direction, but pulled back, narrowly evading it and then prancing backwards a couple paces, grinning widely. "Not bad... not bad." She was mildly impressed, but the girl didn't give her much reason to be more impressed than that.

The brawler would then wave Alyssa towards her as she got back into a boxing position. "Guessing this isn't your standard choice of fighting... So why don't you show me what you got?" asked Knuckles. While Alyssa might not want to show her hand in what style she had to offer in the ring, Rosie felt like it was casual enough that she could convince her blonde to come at her.

Rolling her shoulders a bit after she threw that jab towards Rosie and saw her narrowly avoid it, the blonde would simply step forward as Rosie gestured her to come at her. She figured it might be about time that she show her a thing or two. It was pretty clear from Rosie's punches that she might not be the most technically sound brawler but that she had a fair bit of power behind her.

Though Alyssa had power too...not only that but she had the technical striking skills of a boxer and the talents of a submission expert when it came to locking in holds. She just had to show a bit of that to Rosie. When Rosie brought her hand up to gesture her forward, Alyssa would have already stepped in trying to send a swift hook straight into the side of the pink haired woman and follow it right up with a swift left jab to her cheek.

Rosie Knuckles was waiting for Alyssa to come at her with some heat, and the blonde girl was happy to oblige, it seemed. She threw a hook to her head, but the pink-haired brawler was able to weave back to avoid the strike, but as she leaned back in, she was hit with the jab, nailing her cheek. A good strike, thought Rosie, mildly impressed by her sparring partner before she proceeded to raise a hand up, as if to block. "Pretty effing good..."

It would be somewhat of a distraction so she could start throwing multiple jabs with her free fist towards Alyssa's midsection, trying to get her to drop her guard enough that she could swing a haymaker right towards her head! Rosie had some tricks of her own--even if she wasn't the most technically sound, she knew her way around a fight and how to manipulate her opponent.

Alyssa managed to smack Rosie right in the cheek with a jab and watched her back up before raising her arms up for a block. hearing the little compliment thrown her way, Alyssa would simply shrug her shoulders a little. She'd watch Rosie then step in with her arms ready, throwing a series of jabs towards the midsection of the blonde.

The Brutish Brawler would try and cover up but a few of those jabs hit home. However when Rosie swung out that haymaker, Alyssa would try and duck underneath it and close in. Her abs hurting a bit from those jabs, she figured she should repay the favor. As she would aim to throw a harsh hook straight into Rosie's abs and then follow it up with a rising uppercut to the chin of the pink haired fighter.

Rosie had went for her flurry of attacks to the stomach, connecting with some of them, but her attempt to finish it with a haymaker was unsuccessful! Alyssa was more with it than Knuckles had expected and was met with a stiff hook into her tight abs, making the pink-haired pugilist nearly double over with a grunt of pain. Fortunately for her, Rosie was still pretty with it too, and she sprung back, leaning her body away from Monroe! She felt her sparring partner's glove scrape against her chin as she staggered back, surprised at first, but then smirking shortly after.

She then swagger-stepped back a few paces, shaking her head. "You know, you could have knocked me on my ass with that... And you probably would have with a lesser chick," she explained, still looking confident as she simply bobbed with her arms up, making moves towards her, but not following up on them. Seemingly, it looked like Knuckles was aiming for a proper chance to strike, but didn't want to put herself out after that close call.

Throwing her fist out she smashed it into Rosie's abs and got the pink haired girl to nearly doubled over and stagger back. Being a bit slow on the draw with her follow up strike, Rosie was able to stumble out of reach which caused Alyssa to click her tongue. She watched Rosie have that surprise look on her face and then saw it turn into a smirk.

Alyssa would smirk back and watch as Rosie shook her head, swagger-stepping back a few paces and creating some more distance between the two. The Brutish Brawler would shake her head a bit. " Oh don't worry there luv. I'll have you on your ass soon enough." Alyssa cockily spoke out as she would inch her way forward. Looking to close the distance between the two as she would try and test the waters, light jabs just meant to see how Rosie would react before she would throw out a wild right hook, or rather feinting as if she was. Trying to bait Rosie in so that she could fire off a flicker jab with that same arm down into the side of Rosie's face if she took the bait.

The close call had ensured Rosie was keeping a lot closer of an eye on her opponent now. Knowing that Alyssa had far more talent in boxing than she had even previously thought, and she thought she was quite talented to start, Knuckles wasn't about to open herself up like that again. But she could see the blonde herself was becoming more arrogant which, honestly, Rosie actually liked.

"Oh-ho-hoooo... Spooky." retorted Rosie in a caustic tone, grinning as she got close to Alyssa again. Light jabs were blocked or dipped by. Easy, obviously meant to be. The right hook came, and Rosie's instincts had kicked in. She went to block the hook, but then saw Alyssa ready to fire off with her flicker jab and instead ducked down and came back up, hoping to fire an uppercut straight to her sparring partner's chin!
