*As the confident yet unnaturally taciturn kunoichi flipped her hair upright before catching it in a ponytail, she couldn't help but feel a faint wave of anxiety begin to wash over her. They had managed to earn a few highlights throughout the tag team cup, but tonight felt different for some, inexplicable reason. While maintaing a calm exterior, Kieda was beginning to doubt her ability to keep her composure once the time came for her to throw down.*
"Mina, darling." *She tentatively called out, turning to face her compatriot.*
"How do you think tonight will play out? I was personally hoping we'd single one of them out initially, that way we'd have a better chance at pressuring whomever remained." *Her voice was shaky, but somewhat reinforced with her usual posh tone.*
"Hmhm, or we could rely on your unprecedented strength to see us through. You've always had a pension for crushing people like grapes~" *She snickered at her own joke, beginning to feel the pressure that weighed her down subside.*
*However, before they could delve any deeper into their banter, Kieda heard their names called over the intercom.*
"Oh! Well, that was certainly fast. Let's try not to rush, in order to prevent any nasty slips or falls." *After doing one, final inspection of her partner's ensemble, Kieda leaned in and pecked Mina on her cheek before snatching her wrist and sauntering towards the curtains.*
"Now, remember Mina we're not just trying to look gorgeous tonight- If we're going to be taken seriously as a team, a win would certainly put us on the map." *The Fashion Assassin reminded her compatriot as they marched through the curtains and into the spotlight.*
*As the duo made their appearance, both were greeted with thunderous applause and reverence that quickly filled the entire arena.*
"Hmhm, they can't get enough of us~" *The Azure Shadow smirked while forming her half of their trademark heart, taking this opportunity to pose for the audience before beginning their walk towards the ring.*
