Redeeming and Scheming- Lex and Marlee.

*Ever since getting extensively mortified by his ambivalent lover, Marlee Jackson, Lex had fallen into a pit of personal despair- Not only did the other denizens of The Gem's Haven relentlessly mock and ridicule him after having lost in such an extreme fashion, but his self-confidence had taken a severe nosedive, forcing The Silver Bullet into a life of solitude and asceticism. However, he wasn't isolating himself to simply mediate and reflect- Lex had been fervently training, both his body and mind, to try and regain his prior prestige and passion for the fighting art. Throughout his lengthy workouts, he had plenty of time to ruminate on what had transpired; somehow, Marlee knew his weaknesses without even trying, leading the genius pugilist to reach the conclusion that she was aided in her fight, which only agitated the defeated male even further.*

"Now it's come to this~" *After weeks of intense training, he had convinced himself that it was finally time for retribution, flipping his phone open and scrolling through his contact list. Noticing that she had sent him a large quantity of messages throughout his isolation, which ranged from flirtatious to snippy, all of which made him chuckle to himself.* "Well, let's see how she reacts to this." *Attacking the buttons on his phone with the tip of his thumb, responding to her with a "Tonight. Rematch. Meet me at The Haven if you think you can take me again."

*And with the date being set, Lex brushed himself off and finally left his private quarters. Clad in his signature, flexible khaki pants and matching boots, while allowing his rock hard abs to breath, it was clear he was dressed for a fight. Fortuitously for him, the women who inhabited it all had prior obligations for the evening, leaving it completely vacant.* "That's a shame- I kinda wanted an audience for her defeat." *Climbing through the ropes, Lex began shadowboxing in the arena, occasionally stopping to check his phone to see if she responded to his impromptu request.*

Marlee wasn't in the greatest mood. Her PPV debut match had been a resounding success - thrashing Lex and having the Silver Bullet cumming at her hands in an impressively short timeframe. However, in the aftermath, Lex had been giving her the cold shoulder, something that had the buxom New Zealander seething. The guy was devlish handsome, but apparently couldn't handle getting a taste of his own medicine in the ring - ignoring her texts and calls. She was put out, and weirdly found herself missing their banter.

So when out of the blue, she received a text from him challenging her to a private rematch at the Gem's Haven, she got all excited and angry at the same time. Thrilled to being seeing the genius once more, but infuriated that he was dictating where and when she would get the chance in such a blunt way. It seemed his erudite manners had taken a dent after his loss to her as well.

But, in the end her desire won out and she texted him back. "I'll be there, Red-Eyes - bring your A-game."

Getting kitted out in her usual attire of skimpy orange-red leotard, long gloves and matching thigh-boots, Marlee set off for the Gem's Haven, eager to get to grips with the Silver Bullet once again.

*After what felt like an eternity of shadowboxing in the center of the otherwise vacant arena, Lex popped his phone open and raised a solitary eyebrow at Marlee's retort.* "Hmm. As if I need my best game to conquer you." *Refusing to instantaneously reply to her message, The Silver Bullet merely shut his phone completely off as he eagerly awaited his beloved's return. Unfortunately, it seemed as though Lex wasn't the only inhabitant of the Haven, as he had previously anticipated, which was made abundantly clear once Tess made her presence fully known.*

"Heya Lex!" *She shouted gleefully, bouncing around like a ping pong ball.* "Watcha doin here? I thought you had some type of whacky gizmo or gadget to work on?" *The inquisitive blonde tilted her head sideways, placing her hands on the edges of her hips to emphasize her confusion.* "Yeah? Since when are you my secretary?" *The genius inventor quipped back, shooting the curious aviator an agitated expression.* "Plus, you don't want to be here anyway- What's about to happen might be inappropriate for someone as pure as you."

*However, Lex's attempt at shooing Tess away would only serve to fascinate her even more, causing her eyes to grow as large as dinner plates.* "Woah, really?! I wanna see now!" *She clinched her hands into tight fists, continuing to shake and fidget from excitement.* "Ugh...okay, listen. It's..a private affair. I just want a little peace and quiet tonight, alright?" *Lex responded, attempting to defuse the situation before it somehow became even worse.*

Marlee entered the Gem's Haven bubbling with different emotions. Another match with Lex was certainly an enticing prospect for the curvy Kiwi, but she still had a sizzle of annoyance beneath the surface given how he'd treated her recently. Part of her was worried that if she thrashed him again then he would really shut off from her. But then again... wrestling was wrestling and if he couldn't handle her, then that was his problem.

So she swaggered into the genius's domain and made her way towards the gym where their match would take place. There she found the crimson-eyed inventor, but to her surprise he wasn't alone. Marlee didn't recognise the wide-eyed blond, but from the expression on Lex's face he didn't seem thrilled to have the other woman there.

Smirking, Marlee strutted over to them, interrupting whatever conversation they might have been having.

"Well, well, well, Lexi," she crooned. "Thought I'd never see you again after our last little ... exchange. Can't say I'm disappointed to be back. But who's your little friend? Enlisted some back up to help you out this time?"

*While trying to douse the blonde's burning curiosity, Lex suddenly heard the jingle of the gym's front threshold. Narrowing his eyes, he instantaneously spotted the familiar shape of his love interest, Marlee Jackson, who didn't hesitate to make her presence known.*

"Oh, she was just leaving, weren't you Tess?" *Conveying an expression of pure irritation, The Silver Bullet gnashed his teeth together to augment the degree of vexation she brought with her.*

*Casually ignoring his remark, Tess whipped around and gregariously introduced herself to the stranger before her, immediately connecting her with Lex's sour mood.* "Oooh, are you his girlfriend!? He seems awfully mad that you're here now. Did kick his butt earlier?" *The Blonde Bombshell inquired, much to Lex's agitation.*

Marlee grinned at the sight of Lex trying to shoo the other woman from the gym - evidently her presence here was not part of the genius's plan. Tess, however, had no interest in leaving it seemed.

She shook Tess's hand as the bubbly blond introduced herself, her enthusiasm infectious. Then the woman seemed to put two and two together when she saw how Lex reacted to Marlee's entrance.

"Girlfriend?" the buxom New Zealander mused. "I don't know about that. Guess that's what we're here to find out, eh, Lexi boy?" Then she winked at Tess. "And I didn't exactly... kick his butt. I was more interested in the front, if you know what I'm saying?"

*As the feminine dyad began getting friendly with one another, much to Lex's chagrin, Tess eagerly clasped Marlee extended hand.* "Yeah! His stupid haircut and beady eyes are pretty absurd." *The blonde impishly snickered as she shook the kiwi's hand.*

*Rolling his eyes at her snide comment, Lex eventually accepted his fate while simultaneously rolling his shoulders out.* "That aside, you ready to go Mar? Audience or not, I'm eager to pay you back for what happened before, with interest~"

*Her face glowing with anticipation, The Bombardier stepped in between the lovebirds while rubbing her hands together.* "I'll be the moderator between you two! I've watched enough matches to know what's what!"

Marlee's attention shifted from the bubbly blonde as she looked to Lex, who seemed to be struggling with indecision. Eventually the Silver Bullet rolled his shoulders and set out his challenge to the busty Kiwi.

"Oh, I've got interest, baby," Marlee giggled as she climbed into the Gem's Haven ring, beckoning Lex to join her. "C'mon, Lexi - takes two to tango, or so I'm told." Posing, hands on hips, the New Zealander pointed one foot, tracing idle circles on the ring canvas with the toe of her boot as she waited for Lex to join her and start the match with their impromptu referee!

With all three of them in the ring, Marlee nodded to Tess. "Alright, blondie, ring the bell and let's have some fun!"

"Glad to see there isn't too much animosity between us. Now I won't regret pulverizing that pretty face of yours~" *As the sensual tension between the two, estranged lovers grew Tess couldn't but stifle a giggle at The Bullet's retort as she hopped out of the ring and towards the bell.*

"Hehe, this is going to be uber interesting~" *The anxious aviator waited for a brief moment while Lex addressed his posture, shifting into a pugilistic stance to indicate his readiness. Turning to face the young novice, he gave a quick nod and the bell was rung!*

"Ding ding ding!" *Squandering little time, Lex reminded Marlee as to how he earned his nickname, dashing straight towards her before launching a massive, right cross towards her solar plexus!* "Let me take your breath away, hot stuff~"

Marlee smirked at Lex's blustering threat, knowing exactly how attractive he found her to be. She flashed him a sultry smile. "Come on now, Lexi, you wouldn't want damaged goods, would you? I'll letcha down soft this time."

Whether it was overconfidence from her last match against Lex, or just plain old distraction from seeing him again, Marlee was slow off the mark when the bell rang. She started to lower into her wrestling stance but before she knew what was happening, he was upon her, his fist zipping out and thudding into her midriff.

"OOGHHH!" Marlee exclaimed as the wind was driven from her by the perfectly executed strike, doubling over and stumbling backwards clutching her stomach and fighting for breath.
