Megumi Mutoh vs. Toshimi Minami - The Clash of Angels

Successfully getting Toshimi to release her leg, Megumi moved behind and regather her thoughts. Seeing her opponent rising back up, she would also do the same, pushing herself back onto her feet. Huffing out as she brushed aside a few stray strands of her hair covering her eyes, she would lock her gaze on her fellow Angel before rushing forward, seemingly looking to hit her with a clothesline right across her upper chest.

But as soon as she got closer, she would retract her arm as she would shift her position slightly, using her momentum from her movement towards her opponent to deliver a different attack. She would lower her head slightly, dipping lower before attempting to drive her head right at Toshimi's chest, delivering a brutal ramming of her head, hoping to knock her down with a headbutt to her chest.

[Devastated]

Toshimi rose to her feet and her cold gaze would meet with Megumi's passionate one. The two shared a bit of huffing for air as then Megumi decided to rush in. Seeing her come in with that arm up the Venus of Submissions felt confident that she could grab it and bring Megumi down for a nasty submission hold. This late in the match that would be especially dangerous for the auburn haired wrestler.

As she focused on grabbing that arm though, she hadn't exactly prepared for Megumi to shift her footing and instead go to ram her head into the chest of the iron maiden. Toshimi would gasp out loudly as she coughed out a hefty amount of air, feet leaving the ground as she was pushed up and then fell down onto her back, arms wrapped around her chest as she coughed out for air.

Megumi's feint work as she managed to fool Toshimi into believing that she was going to hit her with a clothesline rather than a sudden headbutt to her chest. But this didn't mean she had to stop her momentum as she would continue running, moving towards the ropes in order to rebound back to where her opponent was. Then, using her momentum, she would attempt to perform a running moonsault, looking to flip into the air before landing right on top of her fellow Angel.

And right after landing on top of her opponent, Megumi would quickly try to go for a pinfall attempt, making sure that her body was on top of Toshimi's as she would reach out for one of her legs, hooking her hand under the crook of her knee. Seeing this pinfall attempt, the referee would start getting to work, counting for the pin next to them, slapping the mat as she did so.

"ONE!"

[Devastated]

Downed and bereft of air by Megumi's rather genius feint, Toshimi Minami was now trying to recover the air that had been stolen straight out of her lungs. However it looked as if Megumi was about to make sure she kept her momentum as she ran towards the ropes and rebounded off of them, her red clad frame soon coming crashing down right on top of the raven haired icy beauty.

" Guuh!" Toshimi gasped out as whatever air she had just gotten back was knocked straight out of her chest. Her body jolting from the impact underneath Megumi's frame before she fell back flat onto the canvas. The Combat Genius quickly decided to go for the cover, hooking on of Toshimi's legs and the referee started the count.

"TWO!" she shouted out as she slapped her hand down against the canvas for the second time....

The Venus of Submissions body would at this point, when the referee was raising her arm up again, buck up and twist to the side to break the pin!

Hitting Toshimi with a running moonsault, Megumi immediately went for the pin, and the referee started counting. But her fellow Angel still had some fight left in her as she kicked out of the pinfall attempt, and Megumi let out a grunt as she got herself off of her opponent. First, she sat up and looked at Toshimi before she picked herself up, looking to get herself back onto her feet in order to continue with her momentum.

"Let's see if this can do the trick..." Megumi muttered as she would grab onto Toshimi's head, forcing her to get up onto her knees before shoving her head between her thighs. This time, the Combat Genius planned to make use of her strength to try defeating the Venus of Submission. After putting Toshimi into a standing headscissor, she would wrap her arms around her opponent's waist before hoisting her up, bringing her onto her shoulders.

"Aaand... take this!!" Megumi yelled as she would attempt to bring Toshimi down onto the mat with a devastating sitout powerbomb, looking to have her opponent land on her back by throwing her down as hard as she could from the elevated position. She was hoping that the move would succeed in knocking the fight out of the Venus of Submission.

[Devastated]

Toshimi was still lacking in air after the sudden ramming of Megumi's head into her chest and followed by having the combat genius land right on top of her for that running moonsault, though she wasn't out of it yet, coughing and gasping a bit as she rolled over onto her side and broke the pin attempt just at the nick of time. She would shake her head and groan a bit...trying to recuperate as much as she could while she had the time to do so.

Right now though Megumi decided to take a hold of her head and guide her up towards her knees, forcing the Venus of Submission's head in between those strong but sweat covered thighs of the Combat Genius. Toshimi would grunt and grumble as she grabbed on the back of those thighs. Feeling Megumi's arms around her waist and how she was being rolled up to those shoulders...

This was when the Venus of Submission would make her move! Her legs would snap shut around the head of the Combat Genius as she would try and throw herself backwards, looking to swing Megumi off of her feet and try and Megumi down into the canvas by swinging her down with a Hurricanrana to try and counter that powerbomb!

Megumi was planning to lift Toshimi up before throwing her down into the mat with a powerbomb, but her fellow Angel somehow managed to make use of her position and turn it against her as she countered Megumi's powerbomb attempt with a hurricanrana. Megumi's eyes widened as she was brought down by Toshimi's legs before she crashed onto the mat, squealing out in pain upon landing.

"Guhhh..." Megumi groaned in pain, wincing as she tried to push herself up. Shaking her head, she would try to locate where Toshimi was so that she could see where she was and what she was about to do next. The hurricanrana left her shaken, and it would take her a while before she could regain her bearing and get back into the fight.

[Devastated]

Throwing Megumi down in a move that she hadn't done all too much, it had certainly been done to her more than she had done herself, by Mighty Yukiko of all people. Though now that she had the opportunity she was kinda grateful to have been privy to so many of those from her rival. It certainly saved her hide right now.

Shaking her head, Toshimi would gather her bearings quickly as she would push up towards her feet. Seeing the disorientated Megumi do the same, Toshimi knew she had to act swiftly. Trying to switch things up for a quick moment from her usual submission focused game just to keep Megumi disorientated, she would try and slip in behind Megumi, looking to shove her head under that armpit of her foe and wrap her arms around that waist, as she'd try and swing Megumi up and look to throw her down towards the canvas with a Saito Suplex!

Still shaken by the hurricanrana by Toshimi, Megumi tried to focus on her opponent in order to see what she would do next. Then, Toshimi made her move, moving herself behind Megumi and shoving her head under her armpit and wrapping her arms around her waist to hoist her up, throwing her down into the mat with a Saito suplex.

"UWAGH!!!" Megumi cried out in pain as she crashed into the mat. The pain, while not terrible, made it hard for the Combat Genius to think. She ended up slumping on the mat, groaning out as she tried to recover from the damage that she got from being suplexed by her opponent. She shook her head, gasping as she tried to push herself up, though she was now in great danger before her opponent.

Megumi looked to be down for the moment as she had slumped against the canvas, Toshimi would force herself up towards her feet and attempt to move towards the downed auburn haired woman. She would try and shove Megumi onto her front and try to snatch a hold of the dominant right arm of the Combat Genius, guiding it in between her legs as she would try and clamp her thighs around it.

After which the raven haired woman would try and snake her arms in under that chin and head of Megumi, trying to pull backwards and put the pressure on the hurting Combat Genius as she sought to lock her into a nasty Crossface submission hold!
