Duel of The North and East! Artemis Grace (d) vs Nayla Ameera

As Artemis flew through the air she noticed Nayla’s body out of the right corner of her eyes which could only mean she had moved out of the way. ‘Fuck.’ The Canadian woman thought to herself as her body crashed through the gap between the middle and top ropes, her ankle getting hooked over the top rope leaving her hanging upside down with a groan.

Nayla managed to avoid Artemis' attack, which gave her enough room to regain her bearing and recover. Seeing that Artemis was hanging upside down after getting her ankle hooked over the top rope, the Lebanese decided to take advantage of this by attempting to deliver a kick right at her body, hoping that it would leave her stunned and winded, thus more vulnerable for her to attack later on.

Artemis grunted and tried dislodging jer foot from the rope, but such a task was difficult with her vantage being turned topsy turvy. Besides as bad as this position was Artemis didn’t want to fall head first on the mat by or damage her ankle by pulling her foot free recklessly. Unfortunately though this caution costed the Canadian as Nayla’s leg impacted with her stomach making her gasp and shoot up in pain curling over her aching stomach before falling back now holding her gut and coughing loudly in pain.

Landing her hit on Artemis, Nayla looked at her opponent who had landed on the mat as she considered her next move. She would then bend down, grabbing onto her body before pulling her up so that she could drag her back towards the center of the ring, where she could continue with her momentum. Once she reached the center of the ring, she planned to trap Artemis in a side headlock, looking to keep her under pressure as she considered on what to do next.

As Artemis was dragged she groaned attempting to reclaim some semblance of clarity to think of a way to reclaim the advantage against her eastern opponet. Reaching the middle of the ring Artemis groaned as she was hauled to her feet, her chest still aching from the dropkick from before. But she at least appreciated how, now that she was right side up her orientation seemed to return following the time she was hanging upside down throwing her off.

Unfortunately this wouldn’t last long as Artemis’s head was soon forced under the Lebanese woman’s arm in a side headlock making Artemis grunt and wince from the sudden cutoff of circulation and visibility. As her ears were muffled the blonde woman would grab at and push against Nayla’s waist in an attempt to lessen the grip somewhat, if not in a bid, admittedly not a very good one, to escape.

Trapping Artemis in the side headlock, Nayla considered what to do next. Then, she would drag her opponent towards the corner, still having her arm wrapped around her head.

Once they were close to the corner, Nayla would quickly release Artemis' head before attempting to push her face first towards the turnbuckle, hoping that the collision would deal some damage on her.

Artemis grunted as she forced around the ring like a rag doll in the grasp of her Lebanese opponet. As they reached the corner Artemis felt her face removed from the side of Nayla and shoved forward towards the turnbuckle. Throwing her arms up she would wrap her hands around the edges of the buckle and tense her arms drastically reducing the force she was being forced down with till her head hit it with a drastically lessened impact. Using the corner as a brace the blonde heavyweight would pull her leg up before swinging it backwards to kick Nayla right in the stomach

Nayla sent Artemis towards the turnbuckle, looking to deal some damage by the way of collision, but it seemed that Artemis managed to soften the crash. Nayla clicked her tongue, feeling annoyed by this, and she planned to continue with her attack, trying to get into position so that she could continue dealing more damage on her opponent.

But before she could do anything, Artemis suddenly landed a kick right into her belly, causing the Lebanese to gasp out in pain, air driven out of her lungs. She staggered back before she attempted to regain her footing. She would bring her hands onto her stomach, trying to nurse the damage that she had taken, though at this point, she had put herself into a precarious position.

Artemis gripped the ropes tightly as she made her counter attack in a effort to set up a contingency should Nayla grab her leg or not be pushed back by the kick. But luckily it seemed it was a unneccessary precaution as she heard the grunt of pain from her opponet followed by the sounds of her foot steps thudding against the mat as she stumbled back. Using her grip on the ropes Artemis would leap up planting her feet on either side of the ropes around the buckle while releasing them with her hands. Once done Artemis would use her powerful legs to kick off and leap backwards sailing through the air intending to try and come down on Nayla with a springboard moonsault.

Due to her taking a kick to her belly, Nayla was busy soothing the pain, which left her open to whatever Artemis would do next. As she pressed her hand on her stomach, Nayla was unable to see Artemis using the ropes to leap backwards, performing a springboard moonsault. When the Lebanese finally saw it, it was already too late as she took the brunt of the attack.

"URGH!!"

Nayla fell backwards as she took Artemis' whole body before she landed on her back. In addition to her fall, having the full weight of her opponent on top of her also made it difficult for her as she wheezed, gasping out in pain. She was left in a precarious position, and Artemis was free to do anything to her now that she was unable to fight back.
