Toshiko Ito gave Viviana a very skeptical look as she tried to explain it, not being sold on the idea of winning something only by chance. She was more used to winning based entirely on skill and talent, but it seemed to her that this wouldn't be such a case. Her eyes shifted to the screen, then back to Viviana, lips twisting as she thought about it.

"...But if I lose, I won't have fun," she stated bluntly, looking back at the screen once more. It was clear the pair had different philosophies on the matter. "But I will try your unfair game," added Toshiko fingers hovering over the screen until she hesitated, and then she poked the screen, asking for another card. And, sure enough, she actually won the round!

The Japanese girl's eyes lit up as she canted her head, waiting for a few moments before adding, "...What do I win?" Looking just confused, Toshiko looked up to Viviana for guidance once more.

"But isn't the...Ahhh...You'll see!" Viviana near slapped Toshiko's shoulder as their attention turned back to the screen, with Toshiko wisely calling for another card. Pulling a solid twenty, Viviana leaned in just a little as it turned to the dealer, who fell short at a abysmal seventeen!

"You did it, ya see!" Her slap to the shoulder would occur again, if in greater number and with lesser force as she patted Toshiko down. Before she turned back to her friend, in face of a curious question.

"Money!"

Toshiko Ito continued to stare at the screen, even as Viviana was excitedly slapping her on the shoulder. Her head canted as she silently watched the screen display her victory, lips pursing slightly before the girl finally looked back at her friend.

"I do not have much use for money," said Toshiko plainly. She lived an abdurdly modest lifestyle and felt as though she wouldn't have any use for the winnings. "Would you like my money I have won, Viviana?" She would then point to the screen, as if to point out to her the money displayed.

Whilst far from rich herself, Viviana came from a family that always had food on the table, and money in the bank. She, nor her sister for that matter, didn't come into the world of wrestling for money. It seemed she and her newfound friend were on the same page in that regard, as she brought up her finger to her chin.

"We can use it on our next night out..." She'd hum with a big grin, as it became apparent that she didn't want this to be a one night friendship. Alongside the more realist part of Viviana peeking through, as even in her drunken splendour she knew that there was no more drinking or otherwise to be had. Not without one being in need of aid for getting home.

Toshiko's mood had become rather dire and much more like her attitude she had at the start of the night. Maybe she was slowly starting to sober up, or maybe the idea of a game without skill to win was baffling her. But she had been rather serious for the moment, that is, until Viviana mentioned saving money for their next night out.

And at once, Ito's eyes shot open, and she looked back at Viviana, almost shyly looking her over, barely able to contain her hopefulness and her joy at at her comment. "You wish to go out again--another night!?" she exclaimed, her heart pounding with excitement. "If we're going out again, we can win a lot of money and go something fun, yes? And we could keep using that money to go out more and more times?" Toshiko would then reach up, moving to grab one of Accera's hands, looking to her for confirmation on her postulating.

What Toshiko suggested wasn't exactly the truth, though Viviana opted to roll with it. The reality was much more positive, for even if Toshiko was to empty her bank account here and now, Viviana would most certainly have opted for round two on the town.

"YUS!" Viviana roared, thrusting her chest out and putting her hands to her hips for a moment, before stepping to the back of her friend. Her hands going to Toshiko's shoulders both, as she leaned in, to play the part of trainer instructing their student how to proceed with the next round.

Toshiko Ito let out a happy sort of coo when Viviana proclaimed yes. She didn't know what part she meant, but a yes to any part at this point would have been the greatest news to Toshiko, who now looked to the game with renewed interest, rolling her neck and then stiffening slightly when Viviana took hold of her shoulders. Offering a warm smile to Accera as she looked back, the Japanese girl would let it linger for a moment befor focusing on the screen again.

She cautiously reached out and poked the screen, drawing her finger back swiftly. Ito then poked it a second time. And she stared at the cards. Curiously staring at the screen, Toshiko counted the amounts out. "...I have... 12. It has... 16. ...I do not know what to do," she stated plainly, leaning forward as if to help her make a decision.

Viviana's face tensed up alongside Toshiko's own, as her friend acquired a hand that was not favourable in the slightest. It was so easy to go over when calling for another card to 16, yet it was rather easy for the dealer to beat. Had there been a real dealer, Viviana may have been tunnelling a gaze through them in hopes of somehow putting them off.

"I...think you should...hmmm..." Viviana crossed her arms, before finally coming to a decision with a raised finger. "Call for...another card..." Her words spoken with little confidence, naturally.

Toshiko could note Viviana's hesitance as she didn't answer immediately, seemingly just as stumped as Ito was. It didn't give her much confidence either, especially when she suggested that Toshiko take another card. Looking back at the Italian, Toshiko's lip curled up before she took another look at the screen and then poked it swiftly before drawing her hand back entirely.

The girls hit an 8, granting them a total of 20.

And then the machine hit a 7, giving them 23.

Toshiko looked at the screen and then slumped in her seat, looking disappointed. "...We lost. I am no longer having fun."

But then the screen reminded Ito of the rules as she was declared the winner, bringing an audible gasp from the Japanese girl as she covered her mouth and smiled. "We were victorious!?" Toshiko turned to face Viviana again, repeatedly patting her forearm before grabbing hold of it. "Viviana, we bested the machine again!" she exclaimed to her friend, looking thrilled they had MORE money to use to spend time together!

Viviana's face dropped in tandem with her friends own, despite the fact that she herself knew the rules if barely. It was hard to be happy with a innocent soul like Toshiko down in the dumps. Even if the reason was a misunderstanding.

But as her friend perked up, so did she, raising her hands before finding herself embracing Toshiko tightly given how wide she smiled!

The patrons of the arcade left looking on rather confused, given the duo, or rather Toshiko, had only won a little more!

Hardly enough to retire to a life of luxury on!
