Duel of The North and East! Artemis Grace (d) vs Nayla Ameera

As Artemis landed on her side from the drop toe hold she looked up and noticed her opponet pushing herself up on her hands. ‘Figures the drop toe hold wouldn’t stun her long enough’ Artemis thought to herself while already getting in motion to try and give Nayla a bit more punishment while she was vulnerable.

Pushing forward on her hands and knees the blonde haired canadian would throw herself through the air while throwing her arm out to down driving her elbow into the small of Nayla’s back in a effort to drive the Lebanese woman right back down to the mat.

Pushing herself up into all four, Nayla planned to pick herself up and recover, but it seemed that her opponent wasn't going to give her the opportunity to do so as she went to hit her with an elbow drop right into her back, sending the Lebanese back down onto her chest.

"UGHH!!"

Besides being sent down, having her opponent's elbow digging into her back also dealt some damage on her. As a result, Nayla remained on the mat, leaving herself a vulnerable target for her opponent to work on.

As Artemis came down she internally prayed her opponet didn’t plan on trying to escape or move out of the way. Otherwise she may be screwed. Luckily her opponet did no such thing and sure enough her elbow made contact and the red head was pushed back to the mat.

Knowing she now had an ample oppurtunity to do some damage Artemis would make full use of it. Sliding around so she was straddling her opponet’s back Artemis would grab her opponet’s left arm and yank it upward for a seated armbar.

Nayla was on the mat, her face and chest on the mat after being taken down by Artemis' drop toe hold. Her back was hurting after taking the elbow drop from her opponent, which left her unable to pick herself up for the time being. Due to this, Artemis was able to take advantage of her current condition as she then straddled on her back before she went to put her into a seated armbar, subjecting the Lebanese to a world of pain.

"UWAHH!!!" Nayla wailed out as Artemis put her into the seated armbar. At the moment, all she could do was endure the hold, though she would try moving her legs, hoping to move herself forward so that she could move slowly towards the ropes.

As Artemis pulled back on the hold the scream of pain from Nayla was more than enough assurance to the Nova Scotian native that she had used the right move to push her advantage. “Is this all you’ve got?” Artemis challenged with a smirk as she leaned back on Nayla’s back yanking the Lebanese woman’s arm as far as she could pull it.

That being said Artemis was able to notice the slow movements towards the ropes from her opponets leg. “Tsk maybe not.” Artemis admitted but kept the pressure on the arm. Even if Nayla was making progress to the ropes, every second she was in this hold was another hard increment of pain to the woman’s arm which would ultimately aid her further on in the match

Even as Artemis continued subjecting her to the armbar, Nayla would keep moving, albeit slowly, towards the ropes in order to gain her liberation. While she knew that she would end up weakened by the submission hold, at the very least, she wouldn't be out of the match just yet. She would keep moving and moving, ignoring the pain as well as the urge to tap out.

Eventually, Nayla would reach the ropes, and using her other arm, she would grab onto the bottom rope in order to give herself a rope break. The armbar would leave her absolutely drained, but with the rope break, her opponent would be forced to release her, allowing the Lebanese to recover at the ropes.

As Artemis relentlessly pulled back on Nayla’s arm she noticed them nearer and nearer to the ropes. Tsking she would throw herself back bending the trapped limb in her grasp to its absolute limit! However it wasn’t long after she started doing this that her Lebanese opponet had managed to grab the ropes forcing a release.

Dropping the bent limb in her grasp Artemis would promptly stand up and step away from Nayla, enough of a sportswoman to allow her opponet at least a moment of reprieve. However make no mistake the Huntress was already crouched over and tensing her body waiting for the exact moment Nayla was able to manage her way to her feet so she could make her next move

Even as her opponent kept her in the hold, Nayla continued to move towards the ropes. The hold was getting more and more unbearable at each passing second, but she kept enduring it, and eventually, the Lebanese managed to reach the ropes. She was granted a rope break, and Artemis released her from the hold, though the damage was already done.

"Urghhh..." Nayla groaned as she used her undamaged hand to pull herself up using the ropes. She tried to get herself back onto her feet as she kept her eyes on Artemis, making sure that she could see her. Even if she was in no shape to attack at the moment, she would be able to see what her opponent was up to, and she could try coming up with a counter in case if her opponent decided to attack her.

Artemis smirked as she watched her opponet favor her undamaged arm as she made her way to her feet with the aid of the ropes. Wanting to take advantage of this downed position of her opponet Artemis would hone in on her opponets injured arm holding onto the middle rope. Running forward as fast as she could the Canadian Heavyweight would leap up angle herself parallel to the mat as she flew through the air aiming to drop kick Nayla’s extended arm aiming to do massive damage to the already injured limb. Of course this move also cane with quite the risk as if her opponet caught on too soon and moved to avoid it Artemis would crash right into the ropes which suffice to say would not be good

Pulling herself up, groaning due to her injured arm, Nayla looked at the direction of Artemis, and she knew that her opponent might take advantage of her current condition in order to gain an upper hand. Sure enough, Artemis went towards her with a dropkick, so the Lebanese would quickly try to slip out of her way, avoiding the attack so that Artemis would hit the ropes instead. She would take this opportunity to let her arm rest for a bit so that the pain would go away. It would take a while, but she knew that she could accomplish that if she was given enough room to recover.
