Yuki Onna vs. Michiko Shimizu - Breaking Momentum

Yuki Onna had been doing well here in LAW, with her racking more wins than losses so far. The Snowmaker was determined to show it to everyone that she was worthy of standing among those who shone brightly at the top. All she had to do was to win more matches, and tonight, she would be having another match against someone named Michiko Shimizu.

Wearing her signature blue-and-white leotard, Yuki went give herself one last check-up before she made her entrance. Fixing her armbands, she would then make sure to make sure that the blue rose attached on her headband was secure. Nodding to herself in satisfaction, Yuki would then make her way out as her music was played. Head held high, the cerulean-haired Japanese beauty made her way down the ramp, heading over to the ring.

The crowd cheered for the young martial-artist, and she gave her acknowledgement by nodding and smiling to them. Soon, she reached the ring, and she would climb up the apron to enter the squared circle. Once she was inside the ring, she would do some light stretches, showing off her shapely body at the same time. Then, after hopping on the balls of her feet a few times, she went towards the corner to wait for her opponent.

"All right...here we go!"

Standing backstage, Michiko threw a few punches and kicks at the air, wanting to get herself warmed up in preparation for the coming match. She was going up against Yuki Onna - someone Michiko had been seeing a fair bit of as she watched other matches going on in LAW, but only now did she have the opportunity to meet her in the ring, face to face. When that happened, Michiko wanted to be ready, and to give her best effort. She always did, of course, but against such an established name, it was especially important to her that she do her best! She looked up at herself in the mirror, and a confident grin crossed her face, as she vowed to show her opponent what she was capable of.

Soon, though, Yuki Onna had already made her entrance, and that left it up to Michiko to show up on the scene. Her own music started playing - and she was ready for it!

To the cheers of the crowd, Michiko jumped through the curtains and landed on her feet on the stage, throwing a chop in the air. She held one arm out in front of her, her fist pointed to the ring, while her other arm went to high-five some of the fans as she passed; she would switch arms partway through to give those on the other side of the aisle a chance as well. When she got to the ring, however, she would plant her hands on the apron, doing a backflip over the ropes to land on her feet, where she struck a pose. Michiko wasn't a high-flyer, but she loved wowing the crowd with her displays of intensity and athleticism, and this was no exception, as the fans went wild with cheers at the display!

Michiko, then, would look up towards Yuki with a smirk on her face. "I hope we can have a good match! You ready for this?"

Yuki would wait for her opponent to make her entrance, and soon, when she saw her opponent showing up, she directed her attention at her. It seemed that her opponent for tonight was a bit taller than her, though it shouldn't be a problem. After all, one's size wouldn't decide the outcome of a match. And when this Michiko reached the ring, she performed an acrobatic stunt to enter, which impressed her a bit.

After hearing Michiko's words, Yuki nodded and said, "I'm ready. Let us do our best." She smiled at her opponent. Then, she would wait for the referee to call for the bell, and soon, when the bell was rung, Yuki would take her stance as she got herself in the middle of the ring, preparing to engage her opponent in this match. She planned to enter a test of strength with her opponent first to start off the match.

Yuki had accepted the challenge in her typical polite and reserved fashion, but Michiko, by contrast, showed far more energy and enthusiasm, mirroring the display she had used to wow her fans on her way down to the ring. She grinned to her opponent, showing a thumbs-up to display her willingness to jump into the action. "You bet!" she cheered, stepping back to her corner and leaning against the post to prepare for the bout ahead of her.

It wouldn't take long for the bell to be called, and Michiko straightened herself, advancing towards Yuki to start things off. She saw the blue-haired woman going into position for a test of strength, and that was something she would show in return, nodding to Yuki as she leaned in to take her hands. Michiko's raw power was, after all, an advantage of hers, and she figured it would serve it well here in getting the match started - though, at the same time, she was curious about what her opponent would offer. Lacing her fingers with Yuki's and gritting her teeth to brace herself, Michiko leaned in closer, throwing her weight in against her foe's balance.

Offering her opponent an invitation to a test of strength, Yuki waited for Michiko to bring her hands onto hers, and when their hands were interlocked with each other, Yuki would start exerting her strength, pushing against Michiko as she would try to use her strength to prevail over her opponent. Yuki could feel her opponent leaning closer, throwing her weight against her as they were locked in the test of strength, and Yuki gritted her teeth as she tried to push back against her opponent.

"Ergh..." Yuki could feel her boots skidding back against the mat, and she tried to keep her feet rooted against the canvas. From the look of it, it seemed that Michiko had gained an advantage over her, though Yuki wouldn't succumb to her opponent's might just yet as she tried to push against her as hard as she could, her crimson eyes glistening with determination. While it might look like she was outmatched in terms of pure strength, Yuki wasn't about to give up just yet as she continued trying pushing against Michiko.

Even with the two wrestlers showing their willingness to start the match off in a sportsmanlike fashion, going for the test of strength to lock up and compare one anothers' might, Michiko was still someone with a lot of strength and no qualms about using it - and she went right into the thick of the action as she gave a hard shove back against Yuki's guard! Michiko herself was a bit surprised by how much her own strength compared against what she could feel in Yuki, and her eyes momentarily went wide. Sometimes it was easy to lose track of just how powerful she was.

However, Yuki was quick to ground herself, and she came back at Michiko just as strongly! Michiko grit her teeth as she felt her opponent brace her feet against the ground, offering the counterbalance to even things out between the two. She saw she would need to ready herself, and she dug her heels into the ground to try and steady herself as she pushed back up against her foe. The two of them were caught in a tense struggle, and it looked like it could easily go in anyone's favor at this stage in the match.

With Yuki pushing back against Michiko, both wrestlers seemed to have entered a stalemate, as neither of them showing any sign of giving up. The cerulean-haired beauty kept pushing against her opponent, exerting her strength, feeling her muscles strain against the might of her opponent.

Still, she had to make sure that the stalemate was broken. So, after pushing against Michiko for a while, Yuki would then try to suddenly twist to the side, hoping to redirect her opponent's momentum while she was pushing her. From there, she hoped that Michiko would lose her balance and footing, allowing her to send her down. She planned to push her opponent down onto the mat, sending her back first into the canvas so that she could gain more advantage over her.

Michiko remained firm despite it all, maintaining her stance with careful balance. Yuki pushed further and further up against her, and the strain was starting to build on her; her teeth clenched and she groaned under her breath as she slowly but surely began to be pushed backwards. Michiko wouldn't let herself be dominated that easily, though - even as her spine began to arch back, she clenched tighter to Yuki's hands, the muscles in her arms bulging as she fought to resist her push.

Michiko was focused on bearing the brunt of her foe's forward assault - but she hadn't prepared for Yuki to suddenly change tactics, and that proved to be what would at last give her the edge. As Yuki stepped to the side, Michiko found herself unprepared for the balance of force to be offset, and one leg began to skid across the canvas, threatening the balance of her stance. "Ahh-!?" Michiko muttered in surprise. But that was all she had time for, as another shove from Yuki sent her off her feet, causing her to fall onto her back with a thud as the test of strength was finally broken!

With her little trick, Yuki managed to get Michiko down onto her back, which was an accomplishment for the cerulean-haired beauty. Knowing that she should strike while iron was hot, she would release Michiko's hands before she clasped her own hands together. Then, she would lift both of them up, holding it above her head before bringing them down, looking to strike at her opponent's belly with a double axe handle, looking to knock the wind out of her opponent early at this match.

Right after that, if she was successful in landing the double axe handle, Yuki planned to get herself back up, yanking Michiko back up onto her feet with the intention of sending her opponent running towards the corner with an Irish whip. She wanted to make sure that her opponent would be cornered for her to work on after this, and she needed to keep her momentum going in order to continue weakening her opponent.

Having fallen to her back, Michiko was still winded from being knocked off her feet. But that wasn't enough for Yuki, and soon, Michiko would feel that too, as she clenched her hands to slam a double axe handle straight into the fallen girl's stomach! Michiko coughed, her body buckling as she sputtered and gagged with the air being forced out of her lungs, before she flopped right back down onto her back.

She wouldn't stay there for long, though, as Yuki rose to her feet, grabbing Michiko by the arm to bring her up along with her - and, with a twist to the side, the lilac-haired wrestler was sent running straight into the corner of the ring. Michiko gasped at the sight of the incoming impact, but things were moving so quickly as to all be in a blur for her - and she slammed right into the posts! With another cough, her body lay draped over the turnbuckles, her chest sitting atop the post as her arms dangled over the edge of the ropes. All she could do was groan and try to shake the cobwebs out of her head. And Yuki doubtlessly had more in store!
