Valentina Nieto/Asuna Fujino - Testing The Waters

"Phew.." The breath fully returning to her, at least for the moment, after the brief squeeze of her powerful foe, Valentina opted for something a little riskier, but just perhaps, spar ending. With her arm tensing back around the head already close to her, the Spanish beauty would yank Asuna's head once more close to her flesh, whilst at the same time pulling her foe and snaking her legs. With the former attempting to bring Asuna so that she was laying atop of her faced down, and the latter to wrap her legs around her waist for stability, Valentina would suddenly tense up; and immensely so, as she seemingly went for the match end in the form of a tight guillotine choke!

Asuna could soon feel Valentina snaking her limbs around her body but was still unable to resist from the pain in her head, and before she could stop her, she felt Valentina's muscles tense up, her arms choking her tight and her legs holding her around the waist. Asuna quickly began tugging against the choke on her neck as she grunted and released heavy breaths, under the strong pain and lack of air the moves caused. However she refused to give up and summoned up the remains of her strength, slowly climbing to her feet, lifting up her foe, before just basically falling back on the mat to slam Valentina's back into it. It was a do or die move in the fight for Asuna as if Valentina remained firmly attached and ufazed after this Asuna wouldn't have the power left to hoist the heavy girl up once more. However if she succeeded Asuna would quickly roll away, to get some fresh air before getting back into the fight.

In truth, Valentina was equally interested in seeing not only how long Asuna could withstand the hold, but how she would respond. Only the former question would be answered however, as Asuna opted to attempt a break out before Valentina could even wrench the hold in fully. Lifted up a shade further with her legs already wrapped around Asuna for leverage, Valentina would brace herself as her foe fell; dropping the beauty into something of a spine buster, which the Spaniard attempted to brace for!

In vain however it seemed, as the impact from the fall not only made her legs fall flat from her foe, but her arms loose and then some! Grunting out as the base of her spine took a mighty hit!

Asuna managed to throw Valentina on the ground and free herself from the hold but even so she was on her knees after the move, worn out by the strong fight her opponent put up. However she saw that Valentina was probably even worse off than herself, spread out on the mat before her. It took Asuna a few seconds to gather her breath and stand up again but as soon as she did, she decided to try and end the fight with a submission hold.

She leaned down to Valentina, hoping to grab one of her legs, and while twisting it, she would turn around, insert her own foot to the gap now formed by Valetina's legs before laying down to try and take her foe out in a tight figure four leglock as her legs clamped down, bending Valentina's!

Now metaphorically smacking herself over going for such an all-in attempt at a submission on a foe with plenty of life in her, Valentina would raise both arms and legs as she offered a typical defence against mounting, groaning as she tried to make it impossible for her foe to take the dominant posture. Unfortunately for the Spaniard then, that Asuna only wanted the beauties legs; which she was kind enough to raise, before seemingly trying to tangle them up. Her foe dropping opposite from her, the pain would make Valentina's back arch as she howled; hands to her side, immediately banging and jostling on the mat as a means of dealing with her agony!

Asuna was laying on her back on the mat, her mind only focusing on keeping the submission hold tight and not allowing Valentina to roll her over, not even wasting the stength to prop her back up to look at Valentina. It was quite clear that Asuna was doing it right, as her opponent was in quite some pain, but she wasn't tapping out just yet. "It's over!" Asuna taunted Valentina, hoping her foe finally didn't have any fight left in her.

Asuna had no intention of letting the hold up, once she saw its effects so she would keep going until Valentina gives in or somehow manages to turn the match around once more.

In truth, despite her modest experience with the hold, Valentina had yet to even consider rolling over, and executing the time old counter to the figure four in returning or rather reversing the pressure. Now with her foes arms wide, the opportunity if however brief, had past.

"G'aahh...damnit!" Hand briefly reaching up to the ceiling as if god himself would lend the Spaniard a hand, Valentina's arms soon covered the back of her head, holding onto her own short locks as a means to survive. The hold was agony; its reputation not only well earned, but amplified by the fact Asuna had not only picked her moment to lock it in perfectly, but locked the hold in flawlessly itself. It was only a spar, but pride itself was still on the line.

Pride that Valentina was very seriously considering to lose, as her hand came down to the mat again, not to tap, but to clench the canvas for what she could. With watering eyes gazing round to the ropes, she had but one option, rather than of course to submit. Slowly but surely, she'd pull upon the fabric of the mat itself; bum-shuffling herself and dragging her foe alongside, as she desperately sought the ropes behind her!

Asuna kept her legs tight squeezing, putting Valentina through hell in the figure four. She had to admire the girl's spirit, because even as she was put through hell Valentina clearly refused to surrender, even with no escape in immediate sight. Soon however, to her surprise, Asuna felt herself slide forward on the mat slightly, getting pulled further and further back. With her arms still spread out to secure her position Asuna couldn't counteract the pull and as she glanced up she saw Valentina olding onto the rope now desperately.

"Not bad." Asuna had to call out and with a smile of appreciation she let up the hold, untangling their legs and would quickly jump to her feet, standing not far away from Valentina. Asuna was quite sure the match would soon be over, with the hell Valentina was put through there was no way she could fight well, hell even standing might be an issue after that hold. With those thoughts in her mind, Asuna waited patiently for Valentina to let go of the ropes and get back in the fight again.

Valentina was free, but at a monstrous cost. A part of her, however embarrassing the thought alone would be, considered still tapping here and now, despite being free, simply because of the pain in her legs. That, and the fact said pain would not only flare as she stood, but likely double as Asuna undoubtedly went onto target it in the rest of their spar. For the moment at least, she opted to continue; hands coming to the ropes and slowly pulling herself to her feet, where the ache from the lock would become apparent. Stumbling and wincing, the Spaniard raised fist to mouth to bite on it as a means of dealing with the agony, before turning to the redhead.

Asuna would of wanted to continue; why the hell wouldn't she? She had the spar itself essentially covered. Valentina, for obvious reasons preferred otherwise.

"Don't suppose...tch...you wanna call it a draw?"

"You know I have you." Asuna replied, but she didn't move in. It was pretty clear that Valentina had trouble staying on her feet, trying to punish her more just felt cruel. "Just admit it." She added without any hostility in her tone. Valentina gave her a good match and Asuna had no reason at all to hold a grudge, but on the other hand as the fight stood a draw felt a unsatisfying to her. She would wait for Valentina's answer, hoping the girl would admit defeat. If this was a match for real she wouldn't hesitate so much, but taking things so far in a spar didn't feel right. Especially against a quite friendly opponenet like Valentina.
