"And her opponent, from Rome, Italy! Weighing in at one hundred and forty pounds, MARZIA SERVELLI!"
Marzia's music, too, started playing - but the Italian girl wasn't in much of a hurry to descend the entrance ramp, as she looked out at the scene before her. She bit her lip, realizing that she didn't really have any fancy titles to wave around, and wondering how, then, she was supposed to stack up to Clover. The girl seemed to show a lot more confidence, too, and it was making the butterflies well up in Marzia's stomach. She gulped, shrinking back a little against the wall. But, she told herself, there was no use in hiding. Everyone here was waiting on her to make her entrance, if just to get the match underway...
...That might be putting more pressure on herself, Marzia soon realized as she gulped. Just as she was about to step out, she froze in mid-stride. It took a push to the back from one of the staff members to get her to fully emerge.
"Gah-!" she gasped, wincing as she blundered out onto the ramp. So far, things weren't going so well, especially in comparison to Clover's flashy entrance. She didn't want anyone, much less her opponent, thinking any less of her for this. But she could channel that into motivation, she told herself! Marzia bit the inside of her cheek and stepped forward. Mirroring the display she'd just seen Clover do, she lifted her arm in the air, going to strike a pose that would prove she was going to rise to the challenge!
From there, the Italian girl came down the ramp, not giving the fans seated at ringside much acknowledgment as she followed it to the ring. Her arms were balled at her sides, and she took in a breath to try and calm her nerves. It would just hold her back to worry about what anyone else thought. She would need to do this for herself! Coming to the ring, Marzia slipped in under the ropes before standing back up to face Clover. The girl looked smaller now that she was facing her, though Marzia realized she should've expected that from the weight that had been called out. Hopefully, she thought, that wouldn't translate into more speed and agility that stood a chance of crippling her attempts to overcome her...
"Hey," Marzia said to Clover, holding out a hand.
"Let's have a good match out there, all right?"
