Mae Madison vs. Layla Colt - Fight the Power

Mae's arm was hurting from the attack, and her mind was reeling from the pain, allowing Layla to keep up with her attacks. This time, Layla set her up for a move, and the American was unable to do anything to stop her opponent.

And once the set up was complete, Layla went to hoist Mae up, throwing her over and backwards, sending her into the mat with a fisherman's suplex. She crashed into the canvas and let out a pained scream. "GUAHH!!!" Then, she slumped onto the mat, pain spreading all over her body, and it seemed that the star-spangled grappler was in deep trouble, with her unable to do anything to stop whatever her opponent would do next.

Layla executed her next move smoothly, smashing Mae into the canvas with the fisherman's suplex. Swiftly rolling clear, she came to her knees, admiring her handiwork. The American lay in a moaning heap, totally helpless. Honestly, Layla had been expecting more - maybe she'd overcompensated and come out swinging against an opponent who didn't really require it!

Still, no sense in getting complacent.

With Mae down and out for the moment, Layla shifted into position alongside her adversary. Once there, she grabbed Mae by one arm and hauled her forwards into the waiting legs of the Canadian brawler. Layla clamped her thighs tight around Mae's midsection, and squeezed hard, locking the Star-Spangled Grappler into a bodyscissor!

Mae moaned in pain, trying her best to get her mind back in order, but Layla had already moved on to her next action, which was pulling the American up and putting her into a bodyscissor. Mae yelped as she felt the crushing sensation around her midsection, and she knew that it this continued, she would be terribly weakened, which would put her in a very disadvantageous position in this match.

So, as she endured the bodyscissor, Mae would try to slip one of her arms between herself and Layla's legs, hoping to create a small pocket of space that she could use to roll herself in before attempting to pull herself out of the hold. She knew that it was a risky move, but it was a risk that she was willing to take, knowing that her situation would be much worse if she was to remain in the hold.

She kept the bodyscissor clamped for as long as she could, but at last the Star-Spangled grappler showed why she was not to be discounted in the ring. Even after the pounding Layla had managed to dish out so far, Mae managed to squeeze an arm into the space between Layla's legs. Then the American rolled slightly into the hold before twisting back, attempting to pull away.

Layla let out a snort of frustration as Mae managed to finally roll free of her grasp. The Canadian swiftly rolled in the opposite direction, bouncing neatly up to her feet and turning to face her opponent.

"Still got some game in ya, eh?" Layla said, looking at Mae and lowering herself into a wrestling crouch. "Good, show me what you got, Miss Stars-n-Stripes!"

Thanks to Mae's quick thinking, she managed to pull herself out of the bodyscissor. She breathed out, still feeling the effect from the hold, but she was still very far from done, and she thought that she needed to do something in order to turn things around in her favor. After escaping the hold, Mae rolled herself away from Layla before pulling herself back up, getting herself back onto her feet. The star-spangled grappler was ready for another clash with her opponent, and she had a rather confident look on her face as she directed her gaze at her opponent.

"Hehe... it's my turn to shine now!" Mae announced as she would also take her stance, raising both her arms up, readying herself to clash with Layla. Gauging her opponent a little, she would then surge forward, seemingly trying to get into a grapple with her opponent, but when she was getting closer, she would instead lower her body, ducking before launching herself forward, looking to hit the other woman with both her hands clasped together, driving it right into Layla's belly.

Layla smiled as Mae picked herself up, and the two wrestlers advanced towards each other yet again. Despite how things had gone so far, the star-spangled grappler looked confident, which was a little surprising. Layla raised her arms, ready for the inevitable grapple that her American adversary would be going for.

However, when Mae came forward, it seemed she had something else in mind. Layla moved to meet the grapple, but suddenly Mae ducked away, diving under her guard and slamming both fists in the black-clad beauty's gut!

"OOOFFF!" Layla exhaled in surprise as Mae's fists drove into her exposed midriff. The air was smashed from the Canadian's body and she went tumbling backwards until she hit the ropes, hooking her arms over the top rope just to keep herself upright. Her head lolled back and her chest heaved as she tried to get her breath back, taken totally off guard by Mae's sudden switch of offence.

Driving both her fists into Layla's belly, Mae saw an opportunity that she couldn't afford to let go. Seeing her opponent moving towards the ropes, the American would then run towards her opponent, but instead of attacking her right away, she would nimbly leap up onto the top rope, placing both her feet onto it, and for the brief moment when she was on the top rope, she would try to reach out for Layla's head.

And just as quickly as she leaped up onto the top rope, she would then leap backwards, jumping off the top rope, letting herself fall back into the mat, bringing Layla with her while she was grabbing her head. It was an improvised springboard bulldog, in which Mae would try to bring Layla face first into the mat after leaping off the top rope.

Layla hit the ropes, gasping for air, but Mae wasn't about to let up. In a blur of movement the American rushed towards her, leaping onto the top rope alongside her. Before the Canadian brawler could do anything to stop it, Mae springboarded back towards the ring, catching Layla's head and dragging her along for the ride! She was peeled off the ropes and sent hurtling downwards.

"UNNNHHH!" Layla cried as her head was bashed into the canvas by the improvised bulldog, her body bouncing off the mats. Stars exploded in her skull and she clutched at her head with both hands, inwardly cursing how things had turned so quickly. Gritting her teeth, she shoved herself up to her knees, getting her hands up and ready for a counter as she tried to locate her opponent again.

Displaying her athleticism, Mae leaped off the top rope and brought Layla face first into the mat with a bulldog. Still, the American thought that it wasn't enough, so after landing onto the mat, she would push herself up, looking at Layla before reaching out to her. From there, she would get herself back onto her feet before lifting her up, looking to put her onto her shoulders in a fireman's carry.

With Layla's body on her shoulders, Mae would straighten her knees, carrying the weight of her opponent on top of her shoulders. Displaying a confident smile, she would begin parading her opponent around just to show her physical prowess. She planned to follow it up with a devastating move later on, but for now, she wanted to show off to the crowd.

Layla groaned as Mae took hold of her, now taking control of the match as she hoisted the dazed Canadian up across her muscled shoulders. For a moment Layla didn't offer any resistance as she was paraded around the ring by her opponent, but eventually her mind cleared, and a stab of anger shot through her. Mae had a chance to press her advantage, but instead the fool was showboating!

Gritting her teeth, Layla braced to deliver a counter...

She would wrap an arm around Mae's head from her position across the American's shoulders, and then twist her body savagely, trying to spin off of Mae's shoulders and fall, attempting to bring the star-spangled grappler down into the canvas with a DDT reversal!
