Even if her Debut wasn't exactly ideal, Kotone Izumi could still muster some level of optimism in this fight. That didn't excluded the fact that she was pretty nervous about the possibility of having to fight another ruthless wrestler, but she decided to believe that after facing the Killer King in her first match the universe owed her some slack, some guy that was also very new to the business named Deku was her foe, he could be any kind of person, even if the nickname did sound cute. Last time she went to the ring in an old school uniform thinking that it would please the audience, except it wasn't pleasant for her. This time she brought one of her fancy swimsuits that she used the few times her family travelled, might as well use it here. Spoiler
While she waited for her cue in the backstage, an annoying thought filled Kotone's head with anxiety: "What if they laugh at me? What if they stop cheering for me?" She tried to push aside these words with a more positive attitude. "They will cheer for me, and if they don't, I'll give them a reason to cheer". Finally, the moment of truth came, the melody of her entrance music indicated that it was her time to step up once again. Spoiler
She wouldn't be disappointed by the loving audience, the moment she stepped outside she was greeted by the fans of wrestling just like the first time. And just like the first time, she felt a drive-like warmth covering her whole body upon being surrounded by their affection. She waved to them while spinning and advancing at the same time, it may have been like a kid playing around, but her energy moving made it look beautiful in a strange way. She ended her waltz when she reached the ring, she hopped in gracefully while still rejoicing in the public's attention. Even if her music had already faded to make way for the next introduction, she managed to forget all about her opponent, her anxiety long gone, and a radiant smile adorning her face.
Deku gulped and fiddled with his ring gear backstage as he nervously prepared for his second match in LAW. Well technically it was his third given it followed his tag match with his childhood friend but... he preferred not to think about that. Spoiler
Instead he chose to look to the future, and not his so far dismal start in LAW. Well by look to the future he really meant worrying nervously and insistently about it as he thought about his next match. Thankfully unlike his debut opponet he had SOME information to work with. Her name was Koto, and she seemed to speacialize in highflying but was also skilled in submissions, that was something he’d need to watch out for. She also seemed fairly durable given how long she lasted against her own debut opponet.
Gulping to himself he slapped his cheeks lightly to prevent himself from going into full on ‘panicked muttering mode’ as the backstage staff of LAW had called if. Something that made Deku blush just from the thought of it. Instead he focused on hypong himself up. ‘Ok ok you can do this. You can do. You can win.’ He thought to himself while shaking his head before snapping up nesring his music start up. ”Crap! Crap! Crap!” He said to himself rushing to the guerilla position to make his entrance. Spoiler
Making it there in time he ran out aa the crowd roared from his apperance. Thankfully his performance in his last two matches was at least enough to garner interest and even some fans to him. Even if it may have been for his looks apparently he was cute according to some social media posts he saw regarding him. Shaking the blush away he ran down the ramp, highfiving fans as he went and leaped up to land in a slide under the bottom rope before popping up to his feet.
Looking over to his opponet Deku would go to nod or say something to her before the match start but... ‘S-S-S-S-So m-m-much s-s-skin!!!!’ He thouhh to himself with a fierce blush as he saw her outfit, which must habe just been a basic, albeit very nice looking swimsuit. Knowing he couldn’t make a fool of himself though he forced himself to say something... while looking to the side, not meeting Koto’s eyes. “L-L-Let’s h-have a-a g-good match.” He said quickly, thnkful he managed to squash his stutter a bit towards the end as he quickly side stepped into the corner, trying to control his nervousness before the match started proper.
"Well, it shouldn't come off as a surprise that a guy would have his entrance theme be a metal song" Kotone thought when she heard her opponent's cue. After a while she was able to get a better look at Deku; Truth be told, he was kinda plain looking but still handsome at the same time, oddly enough, his body did show enough muscle to make him look like a wrestler. His costume was fine, and it could count as a wrestling outfit, contrary to her swimsuit. When he came closer to her, it didn't took long for him to act all flustered, figures, she knew coming here using this might have been a bit scandalous, at least it signaled her that this time her enemy did had some morals.
"Yeah, let's do our best!" She replied to his greetings in a friendly manner with a hand on her hip, she walked back to her corner to wait for the bell. She wanted to see what he was capable of, she believed that this time she could afford lowering her guard at the very start to check for his fight style and physical prowess.
She went towards him, walking more like a model than a fighter, she wanted to know if he was an attacker or a defender, and based on that she would go for her strategy. "So, Deku right? what a cute little nickname. Can I call you that?" She also wanted to make some conversation because she was a social person, but if she managed to make him lose his focus with it, then even better.
‘Oh god this is gonna be so awkward! What if I accidentally grab her somewhere I shouldn’t!? Will I be disqualified?! Will she get mad am I gonna be fire!?’ He thought to himself in panic at the thought of going up against the really attractive girl before him. ‘Ok ok ok calm down calm down Izuku. You got this. You got this.’ He proceeded to think trying to calm himself down, right in the nick of tme too as he managed to hear the words of his opponet which snapped him out of his thoughts.
”O-O-Okay yeah lets!” He said in response, wishing he could sound more confident than he knew he sounded. In general he was wishing he could face off against her in any other circumstance, or at least, in another outfit. After all she was.. very very attractive with all that skin showing.. ‘No bad Izuku!’ He thought to himself as the bell rang which gave him a signal to begin refocusing on his opponet with his fists up.
...But that turned out to be a bad odea as the moment he did he saw her sashaying towards him in a waltz that looked more in place at a runway than a wrestling ring. But it worked, as Deku found his eyes going towards her hips and legs making him gulp as she started talking to him. “T-T-T-Thank y-y-you o-of c-course you c-can c-call m-me t-that. K-K-K-Koto r-right?” He asked her, trying to be polite while trying not to focus on the slow and hypnotizing way her lower body was moving.
Kotone wasn't very experienced with boys her age, result of her reclusive upbringing, so she found this boy, Deku, rather strange. He was very tense around her, like she was some kind of spawn of the night, but it wasn't like he was scared of her, it was more likely that he was anxious around girls. Her outfit probably wouldn't help with this either.
She could clearly see that he was paying more attention to the movement of her hips than her other body parts that where about to cause him a world of trouble. She wasn't going to lie, she was a little flattered by his attention, but this wouldn't cut it for their match. She wanted a wrestling partner, not a training dummy, she needed to get things started soon. Kotone took off the fabric that hanged to the side of her hip, which made the characteristic sound of fabric being torn off. This resulted in her fully revealing the bottoms of her swimsuit to the public that cheered loudly in approval of her sudden audacity "Thanks sweetie. You may call me Koto-chan" She replied.
She proceeded to direct a dropkick directed to Deku's chest with the aim of making him fall down on his back. "Eyes in the prize, Killer" She quipped back at her distracted foe.
‘Dang it stop looking stop stop stop!’ Deku thought to himself desperately as he tried reallyyyy hard to not focus on her swaying hips. It was a difficult task that was only made even more so by his opponet suddenly ripping off the fabric around her waist showing off her bottoms which on top of getting a big reaction from the crowd, also made Deku turn a bright crimson shade of red as his brain short circuited for just a moment.
A moment his oppomet took prime advantage of when she leaped up and smashed her bare feet into his chest dropping Deku flat on his back with a groan of pain. ”Ok... fair point.” Deku groaned out in response to her words. Despite the dull aches of pain resounding from his chest the same sharp sensations had snapped Deku out of his embarrassed daze.
Throwing his legs up he would throw them forward again kipping back up to his feet before her. ‘Just do you’re best.’ He thought to himself as he attempted to spring forward while raising his arm up to try and bring Koto chan down to the mat himself with a clothesline.
Even after getting hit by Koto-chan's dropkick, it looked like Deku was quite fast in his feet. It didn't took long to see him bounce back, and he apparently was ready to fight for real this time. She saw how he stood up, it seemed that he had a new drive this time, not something that she saw in him after their first impression. ""Cool, let's see what you can do she said with a cocky smirk in her face.
Apparently, Deku was quite a speedy fighter, and that was even comparing him to Koto-chan herself. Before she knew it, he already was in front of her about to send her down with a Clothesline. "What the-! Ughh!" She was thrown down to the mat after his arm made contact with her body. While the boy wasn't the pinnacle of human strength, he at least was stronger than the girl he was fighting, managing to sweep her off her feet.
Even if falling back first to the canvas wasn't a thing that she enjoyed, it wasn't that bad. As a matter of fact, the impact of his arm stung harder than that, oddly enough. But even if the boy thought that he got her, he would find himself in a pickle. The bluenette girl swept a kick directed to the green.haired boy's ankles. "If you send me to the ground, then you're coming with me!"
Deku was honestly a bit surprised at the genuine confidence and drive in his tone and actions after getting dropped by that dropkick. It was like something in his head just clicked as a result of his opponet’s words. In any case he wasn’t questioning it. Rather he was gonna go with it full force and it brought him to making a solid hit that returned the favor of being dropped to the mat to Koto-chan as she hit the mat back first.
However before Deku could properly capitalize on this slight advantage his opponet was quick to even the playing field. ”Whoa!” He yelled out in surprise as he suddenly found his footing taken out from under him and he was dropped back down to his back with a groan. Sitting up a bit he thought quickly, trying to salvage this as he attempted to push himself up to the point that he could send a kick to his fellow downed opponet.
Even if this Deku boy was more than meets her eye. Koto-chan wasn't going to let him topple her in this match. After her disaster of a Debut, she had to prove that she wasn't just going to be a beatings-taker in this league. Now that they where both on equal footing, or more like both down, she would try to make him stand back. Still, the green-haired boy was a speedster, he managed to recover and direct a kick to her. It looked that they were both wrestler's that needed to be fast in their steps in order to conquer. The only problem with this was the fact that Deku was stronger than Kotone, so she needed to be either faster, more durable or smarter. But for now she needed to dodge.
Deku's foot came real close to her pretty face, but she managed to avoid the impact. The bluenette girl had an opening at that moment, and she used wasn't going to waste it. "Right back at you!" She claimed as she directed her bare foot to her foe's face, if her attack managed to stunt him, she would use that leverage to stand back up and stand back enough so she would be out of his immediate reach and in position to plan out her next attack.
So far this match was at least more even than his previous bout with JJ. Both were on the mat, and as Deku had so far began to out together, they each had similar styles to eachother, coupled with their similar body types made for a interesting match up. Thankfully he had the advantage in strength unlike last time in his bojt with JJ. However it appeared Koto-chan may have him edged out in speed as she managed to lean back dodging his hit.
”Wha?” He said in confusion at Koto’s words only to get immediate understanding as her bare foot pressed into his face sending him on his ass with a groan of pain and a blush of embarassment. “Agh...” He groaned out in pain as he rolled himself over and got his face rubbing his face. “Ugh... good hit.” He said shaking his head as he refocused his gaze on Koto watching her carefully.
