Oh, wow. Betty was starting to see the potential that Arthur saw with this Kyo dude. It was just too much fun to rouse a stiff like this.
It all came with playing her part in the moment, though. In this setup, she was often tasked with drawing attention in the ring and distracting the referees, who would guess that a tiny, hot redhead in a skimpy two-piece would be good at demanding someone’s attention.
She didn’t know exactly what her partners were doing behind her, but the faint, distant grunts told enough of a tale. Poor, poor Makie.
She could only hope to keep this up for so long, though, and half the battle was knowing when it was being pushed a step too far. She threw a quick look over her shoulder, noting the mysteriously worse-looking Makie back in the ring, and finally moved away from the referee, waving to Kyo as she went and giving him a sly wink on the way out.
”Man, oh man, they did a real number on you, didn’t they?” Betty muttered under her breath as she skipped in, then reached down and grabbed Makie by the hair, forcing her to her feet. ”Don’t you worry, cutie. This little dance is almost over, I promise.”
As soon as Makie was all the way up, Betty brought her head under the woman’s shoulder and pulled her in tight, holding her at the waist. She planted her feet, lifted her up, arched her back, and proceeded to plant Makie on the canvas with a Northern Lights Suplex - suplexes weren’t typically her thing, but she wasn’t typically taking on opponents small enough for her to do one well on, so she figured it was a good time to spice things up a bit.
And, of course, she might as well go for the pinfall while she was at it. Betty would brace after the impact, bridge out, and try to plant Makie’s shoulders on the canvas, even standing on her tiptoes to get that little bit of extra weight involved.

Re: Crimson Legacy vs. Bambi and Thumper - Odd Man Out
Makie was still breathing hoarsely as she lay on her side, one arm cradling her chest after taking that elbow from Alex. Her lungs burned, and a part of her was afraid of what kind of damage Alex might have done. That soon became the least of her worries, though, as soon Betty was in her face again, towering over her with malicious intent.
She was hauled up to her feet, legs shaking, and then Betty was under her arm. And then her entire world went tilting upside down as Betty launched her in a whirling Northern Lights suplex! The ring shook as she was slammed back first into it, jarring her spine, hammering the back of her skull...and Betty stayed arched against her, her lithe body demonstrating its flexibility as she kept Makie wrapped up for a pinfall.
"ONE...TWO..."
With a low groan, Makie twisted to the side, narrowly getting a shoulder up. The fans cheered, but right now, Makie was hurting too much to appreciate it...

Re: Crimson Legacy vs. Bambi and Thumper - Odd Man Out
One. Two.
…no three?
Betty bounced off as Makie got the shoulders up in time to keep her team in the game, honestly a touch annoyed by the heroic effort. As cute as this little chick was, she was kind of hoping she could put her away and score the win, if only so she could have the bragging rights over Alex. It might not have seemed like a big deal, but petty stuff like that could really get under her partner’s skin, no matter how much she would deny it.
But Makie had to go and ruin it by being ‘competent’. A buzzkill.
Over to the side, she could see Alex sticking her hand out, looking for a tag, but Betty waved her off as she got to her feet. ”Chill, Mom. I’ve got this.”
Alex bristled at the taunt - fair, considering how she and her mother got - but Betty ignored it as she reached down, grabbed Makie by the hair, and hauled her up to her feet. She pushed the woman back, forcing her towards the corner, then tried to lift her up and force that cute ass of hers to sit on the table turning, with her scaling it a moment later. She was in a Go Big or Go Home sort of mood.

Re: Crimson Legacy vs. Bambi and Thumper - Odd Man Out
"Ah...ffuck..." Makie moaned as her hair was yanked, forcing her shakily up to her feet. Her head was still swimming after it had taken the brunt of that Northern Lights suplex, and she was staggering drunkenly on her feet as Betty guided her along. Such was her dazed state that she offered little resistance as Betty hauled her up, leaving her in a precarious sitting position atop the turnbuckle. Instinctively, she grabbed onto the top rope to hold on. A second later, Betty had climbed the turnbuckle opposite her; unbalanced as she was, Makie found herself leaning against Betty a little, her face unintentionally nuzzling a little against Betty's chest.
She had a bad feeling of what was going to come next...

Re: Crimson Legacy vs. Bambi and Thumper - Odd Man Out
Alex knew that look on her partner’s face. That was her confident face. Her stubborn face. Her ‘I’m going to do what I want and blame someone else if it blows up on me’. On one hand, she wanted her to have fun in the ring, but on the other, she never seemed to know when it was too much.
This was a good example. Setting up Makie in the corner was a good idea, but putting her up on the turnbuckle, scaling up after, taking her time? Risky. Makie was young, but she wasn’t inexperienced.
Betty reached the top, winked to the audience, and leaned down just enough to give Makie a little lick on the nose. “Time to fly, sugarbuns.”
She leaped up, wrapped her legs around Makie’s head, and jerked back, attempting to send her flying with an avalanche hurricanrana.

Re: Crimson Legacy vs. Bambi and Thumper - Odd Man Out
Makie felt her head being slid up between Betty's thighs-- not normally a place she wouldn't want to be, but alarm bells were going off in her head. She knew this move. She had practiced it hundreds of times, used it on opponents dozens of times, and even gained an in-ring nickname after it. Betty was about to hit her with a hurricanrana.
Fucking bitch. No one used a hurricanrana on her.
Indignant anger spurred her into action. She remembered what Alaina Sanders had taught her kn their last practice session: never be afraid to lift someone, no matter their size.
Her arms wrapped around Betty's thighs; with a wordless roar she pressed her boots against the ropes and sprang off, hoping to use Betty's positioning against her and smash the other girl to the mat with a power bomb!

Re: Crimson Legacy vs. Bambi and Thumper - Odd Man Out
Something was wrong.
Alex struggled to describe exactly what was off about the position she was seeing, but somehow she just knew it was about to go very badly. Maybe it was the look in Maki’s eyes, showing she wasn’t winded enough for the move, or maybe it was that Betty was taking too much time and tempting fate, but she could feel that growing worry in the pit of her gut, the subtle portent of doom.
She knew it would be bad. She’d underestimated just how bad.
“Babe!” She cried out as Betty was driving into the canvas at a sick angle, crashing right down on her neck, and she nearly rushed the ring on instinct. Only the referee’s timely arm kept her from doing so, ushering her back as she looked on.
Betty was moving. Okay, thank god. But she was moving slowly, groggy, like she didn’t know what planet she was on. Alex reached over and stretched her arm so far it hurt. “You’re okay, baby. Come back to me, this way!”
She began crawling towards their corner, but it was slow and sluggish, like she was moving through water...

Re: Crimson Legacy vs. Bambi and Thumper - Odd Man Out
Betty wasn't that much taller or heavier than her, which made this a bit easier...but all the same, a power bomb was not a move that Makie had practiced that often. Most of her moves involved throwing her striking her opponents rather than actually lifting, and any throws she did relied on her legs rather than her upper body. Even so, she had been stepping out of her comfort zone a little more ever since she had trained with Alaina, and ever since her rematch with Peggy. And after the way Betty had tauntingly licked her, a part of her wished she could see the other girl's face as she grabbed her thighs and lifted her clean off the corner.
The two of them hit the mat with a meteoric crash. Bouncing off of Betty, Makie went flopping onto her back, breathing hard. Around them, the crowd was going wild. She smiled a little at the sound: she couldn't believe she had pulled that off.
Unfortunately, she was not in great shape herself. Betty and Alex had been doing a real number on her. For a few seconds, all she could do was lie on her back next to Betty, catching her breath.
"Makie! Tag me in!" she heard Kyo shout from her corner. With a groan, she rolled, and began the process of crawling, slowly and painfully, towards Kyo, unaware that right now Betty was making a similar crawl towards Alex...

Re: Crimson Legacy vs. Bambi and Thumper - Odd Man Out
“Oooooooow.” Betty let out a long, muffled groan with her face half covered by the mat. She eyed Makie from the side, and managed to slide her leg enough to give the woman a petty little kick. “You. Suck.”
As much as she would’ve liked to share her complete opinion on Makie with the other woman, she was acutely aware of Alex calling her, and on reflex she turned her way and started crawling towards her, as Makie went in the opposite direction. On hands and knees, she worked her way further and further forward, moving like soldiers in the trenches. Almost there, almost-
Got it.
Betty slapped hands with Alex, who leaped into the ring and charged toward the opposite end with a head of steam. She wasn’t going to make it in time to stop the tag, she knew…
…and she wouldn’t have to.
Arthur, who’d been surreptitiously working his way around the ring, picked the moment to reach up, grab Kyo’s ankle, and pull him off the apron just as Makie went for the tag, dumping him to the floor. Suddenly Makie was all alone again, with the much bigger Alex coming up right behind.
The big bruiser stomped her hard on the back, grabbed her by the ankle, and dragged her back, while the referee glared Arthur’s way.
“Sorry about that, lads.” He stepped back with hands in the air. “Clumsy, clumsy me.”
