POTENTIAL NEW CATEGORY: Non Cannon

So as some users probably saw on the discord server, the idea of a official non cannon section of the site is something that came up and I'm going to gauge the interest with this thread.

This new category would fit several matches, which would include Male vs female and Male vs male, ( until we make this it's own section, which is pretty likely at some point) Supernatural, furry, mythical ect characters competing. As well as simple non cannon, in case anyone ever feels the extreme desire to have their jobber rampage against a champion and win, or have their strong character lose to a jobber in a simple unimportant and relevant match with no influence on the LAW cannon.

With the non cannon it would even presumably be possible to have your character hold a title existent or non existent in LAW, though if this would become the case I'd request that people don't mention the championship involved in the title as to not clog the search results when looking for official title matches.

Of course certain things would be banned, such as murder, racism, and other things which would break site rules. With in roleplay murder being the primary thing we would still prefer to avoid.

I said it in Discord and I'll say it again here. I'm totally down for MvF and I especially have a powerful desire to see the supernatural section see the light of day.

I love the idea of non-canon matches and the inclusion of fantasy elements or the use of pre-existing characters rather than having to create legally distinct versions of them. I personally; however, would prefer to do these sorts of matches in private messages but if other members wanted others to see these matches then I suppose it would be fine for the most part.

I could foresee some people; perhaps, only participating in non-canon matches. Whether or not that would be a negative I can't say for sure. Another potential point of contention could be the possibility that non-canon stories could end up spiraling off into their own distinct canon's. Would a rule be put in place that states that all non-canon matches must be one offs or would continuous story-lines be allowed? I don't personally care one way or another, but I could see some people being upset if a non-canon story became its own distinct property that rivaled the main LAW organization.

Just wanted to contribute to the discussion and present some thoughts on the subject.

I'd say with stories being formed in non cannon you can detail the timeline beforehand if you wanted to do a continuous stream of related non cannon stuff. At the same time though there wouldn't end up being a cannon within non cannon, because in a specific non cannon rp someone could easily say their character is the strongest person in existence, hold x belt, ect, if they truly wanted and it was agreed with their roleplay partner.
