Aaliyah wasn’t in reality anymore. At some point, over the past five or so minutes, she must’ve slipped into an alternate dimension where up was down, left was right, all logic and thought had no meaning, and the rules of nature had all broken. She was in a world of pure, unfiltered chaos that defied everything she knew about the way the world was supposed to work.

Strange as that sounded, it was the conclusion she had to draw. It was the only thing that made sense, given the absolute batshit insane things Cleo was saying.

Aaliyah took a moment - a long, hard moment - to look between the two women, as she struggled to process what was going. So, apparently Cleo and Yo-Yo…CleYo…were out on a ‘date’, and came back to their apartment for rough sex. Cleo. The same crazy women who’d put her through the ringer a few days ago. That Cleo.

”Oh, god.” Aaliyah brought her hands up and rubbed her temples. ”You cannot be this dense. She’s using you, moron.”

Yo-Yo was quick to clap back, stepping forward with enough bounce that Aaliyah tensed up without thinking. ”Oh, fuck off! Nobody’s fucking using me, not everything’s about you!”

It took literally all of Cleo's will power now to smirk or cackle diabolically right now. This was going exceptionally well, beyond perfect even, Yo-yo was even more emotionally inclined than Cleo thought and was practically erupting at Aaliyah. Granted the older cousin was able to deduce what Cleo's intentions were easily but proving them was another matter that was no so easily accomplished. Slowly standing up Cleo would gently place a hand on Aaliyah's shoulder and pull her back slightly, right against Cleo's own body where her arm wrapped protectively, or possessively around her shoulders and chest from behind. "If I may..." Cleo tutted out in a light tone to cut through the family drama.

"While you are correct that I wanted to take Yo-yo out due to our match it's purely because I grew interested in her then and she clearly was interested in me, and in a way she helped me out quite a bit then, so it started out as me wanting to thank her but what I can say? We clicked rather well..." Cleo said while using her free hand to tilt Yo-yo's chin up in her direction in a gentle way for a moment turning her focus back on Aaliyah. "But if you'll remember... I was the one who beat you in that match. I have no further quarrel with you and certainly no reason to weaponize your family against you. After all why would I when I proved to be the better woman already?" Cleo asked with just the slightest hint of cutting superiority in her voice, flaunting the win over Aaliyah while using it as evidence that she was not in fact dating Yo-yo to get at her at all.

This was a lot to take in. A lot. Cleo being here was a big enough WTF, but hearing Yo-Yo defend her, the way she was falling for her bullshit, was about to push her over the cliff. She would’ve very much liked to tell the woman what she thought about that, too, but then the rich bitch got back into things.”Pfft. You mayn’t.”

But Cleo did anyway, much to Aaliyah’s great annoyance, spitting out the biggest pile of bullshit you could find outside of a farm. She stood, listened, and did her best not to lunge at the woman. It took some supreme effort, but somehow, she managed to wade through it all and make it to the other end.

”You…you...” She narrowed her eyes and stepped forward, and for a half-second she considered having a rematch here and now. But she called that idea off when Yo-Yo took a step as well, putting a barrier between them. This wasn’t the time, this wasn’t the place. Whatever little game Cleo was playing, she didn’t want to fall for it.

”Fine. Fine. Have fucking fun time. I’m out for the night.” Having said that, she proceeded to storm off in grand fashion, slamming the front door behind her.

Oh this was absolutely delicious. Cleo was positively relishing in the fury that Aaliyah was stewing in after she gave her 'explanation' for the situation and its clear that she didn't buy it, but she didn't dare fight Cleo on it knowing that Yo-yo was standing between them. Something Cleo would reward the younger woman for as she leaned forward against Yo-yo's back, arms lazily wrapping around the girl's shoulders while she rested her chin on her head, smirking smugly at Aaliyah from her position as the woman finally stormed out.

"Oh trust me we will." Cleo called out after Aaliyah before then moving to turn her companion around to be facing her. "Thank you so much for defending me love." Cleo purred as her hands went to Yo-yo's face, holding her gently before bringing her into an aggressive and sloppy kiss."Let me properly rock you're world as thanks ." Cleo said after pulling away before practically dragging the two back in bed to pick up where they left off.
