Re: Christina Perez vs Valley Doll III - Submission Match

For four years, Christina Perez has been battling in L.A.W., carving her reputation as a tough, technical wrestler with one of the sharpest submission arsenals in the company. She has the wins and the availability to back it up and earned a bit of respect from fans and peers alike.

But respect isn’t enough anymore. Christina is hungry for gold. The Middleweight Championship has become her dream, and she knows every champion’s journey begins with proving themselves on the biggest stages.

That’s why she accepted this match at The Queen’s Decree. She isn’t the headliner in Kyoto, but she doesn’t need to be. For Christina, this submission match against Valley Doll III is her chance to remind the wrestling world — and L.A.W. management — that the Fighting Filipina isn’t just here to compete. She’s here to win, to dominate, and to make sure everyone watching knows: one day soon, a championship will be around her waist.

---

The lights dim inside the KBS Hall, its stained-glass backdrop shimmering faintly under the stage lights. The Kyoto audience falls silent in anticipation.

Suddenly, Christina Perez’s new theme music hits — a vibrant, trap-heavy instrumental that fuses swagger with energy. Funky synths and a pulsing beat echo through the hall, each note raising the crowd’s excitement.

The fans cheered and clapped as the spotlight swings toward the entrance.

---

Christina bursts through the curtain, clad in her entrance gear: a cropped white-and-red jacket with blue trim and the Philippine flag stitched proudly over her chest. Aviator shades glint under the lights, giving her a confident, fighter-pilot edge. Her midriff is bare, showing the hard-earned abs of a woman who lives for combat.

She moves with a dancer’s rhythm, strutting to the beat, high-fiving fans as she makes her way down the aisle. The Kyoto crowd, known for its respect, roars louder with every step — not just at her presentation, but at the fire in her eyes.

Christina stops midway down the ramp, points at her waist, and mouths to the camera:

“One day, that Middleweight belt is mine.”

Christina then climbs the apron, pulls off her shades, and tosses them into the crowd before stepping through the ropes. She takes one last spin, unzips her jacket, and whips it off, revealing her in-ring attire: a red, white, and blue top laced at the front, matching shorts with flag-colored accents, and knee-high boots trimmed with gold stars. Her physique is on full display now — strong arms, sculpted abs, and powerful legs.

As her music fades, the stained-glass backdrop glows faintly behind her, making her silhouette stand out like a living icon. Christina bounces on her heels in the corner, laser-focused.

From the gorilla position, Valerie watched as Christina came out to her usual fanfare, proudly and promptly making her way to the ring. The crowd was behind her, and it wasn’t hard to see why - she was what her mother would’ve called ‘the total package’, a complete and well-rounded wrestler. She was very much the mold of the woman Valerie looked up to when she came to LAW, a model to follow.

And here she was, about to take her on. It was a surreal image, and even more so on paper. She was still very much a rookie in LAW, a fact she was keenly aware of. While she’d racked up a good deal of experience and had some memorable matches, there was much left to learn, and there would be a big gap between her and Christina Perez. By all rights, she had no business being here.

It wasn’t a fact that would slow her down, of course. If anything, it did the opposite, making her realize that this was her chance, her best chance to make a mark on the division. Her matches with Kyo and Ryu had drawn eyes away, now she had to work to keep them.

A deep breath. In. Out.

Valerie was ready.

She wasn’t the showwoman that Christina was, didn’t have the flashy graphics or elaborate lightning, but she made up with the confidence as she burst through the curtain and descended the ramp, stepping along in time with her
Long, powerful strides, and she kept her gaze locked on Christina the whole way. It wasn’t a look of malice; she had nothing against the woman, but she was here for business and wouldn’t hesitate to show it.

Valerie slid into the ring, promptly popped to her feet, and made her way to the center of the ring. She wasn’t one for ‘trashtalk’, but she was in the mood for a taste of it today—just a few words. ”If you want the Middleweight Belt, you’ll have to go through me.”

A strong declaration, and one she had no qualms with backing up. She gave her chest a solid thump, then backed up until she hit the pads in her corner. Valerie took her place there and anxiously bounced on her heels as she waited for her music to die down and the bell to ring.

Christina took a long look at Valerie as the rookie squared her shoulders in the center of the ring. There was no posturing, no theatrics — just a steady glare and the kind of determination that screamed she was here for the fight, nothing more.

It made Christina’s lips curl into a smile. She remembered when she had looked like that — all seriousness, no wasted motion, all about proving she could hang in L.A.W. Back then, she hadn’t yet grown into the performer she was now, someone who could balance the fight with the flair, the grit with the charisma that won over crowds.

“You’re all fight,”

Christina said plainly, circling in closer, her tone respectful but edged with excitement.

“I used to be the same way. Nothing but business. But four years in this ring taught me you need more than that to survive here. You need fight and fire.”

The cheers swelled as she stepped right up to Valerie, her confident grin never faltering. Christina extended her hand between them, palm open, her eyes gleaming with anticipation.

The Kyoto crowd reacted in waves — first a murmur, then cheers.

Christina held the gesture steady, testing not just Valerie’s fighting spirit, but whether she’d accept the respect of someone who once stood in her shoes — and had since become the “Fighting Filipina” the whole building was rallying behind.

Valerie was ready. So ready. As ready as she could ever be in a situation like this. Her match with Alizeh hadn't gone as she’d planned, but she had already decided that this would be an entirely different affair. Back then, she’d been jumping into the deep end, hadn't yet gotten used to the water, but now? Now, her mind was in the right place, she was sure of it.

Focused. Ten toes planted. Ready for anything. Nothing could surprise her.

Except that handshake.

She supposed she shouldn’t have been taken off guard by what was, really, a standard salutation between professionals, but nonetheless, that was the effect. She had been so revved up that just the bare minimum of pleasantries was taking her by surprised. Take it down a notch.

”Um…maybe you’re right, there.” Valerie gave the back of her head a sheepish rub with one hand, then returned the handshake, giving her a strong squeeze before she backed away. ”Let’s have a good match.”

Indeed. Valerie dropped into her ready stance as the bell rang and inched forward, eager to engage.

The bell rang, and the sound echoed through KBS Hall as the Kyoto crowd leaned forward in anticipation. Christina adjusted her stance, eyes sharp but her grin still there, the thrill of competition sparking inside her. Valerie had accepted the handshake with more sincerity than she expected — a rookie gesture, earnest and respectful — and now Christina was even more curious to test just how far the young woman’s fight could go.

She raised her hands and circled once before lunging in, collar-and-elbow tie-up locking both women together in the center of the ring. The crowd applauded, appreciating the classic start. Christina wasted no time in taking control, twisting under Valerie’s arm and snapping into a standing wristlock. She wrenched hard, grinding down on the joint, then smoothly transitioned into a hammerlock, slipping behind her opponent with ease.

“Come on, rookie, show me,”

Not staying still for long, she transitioned again, sliding around and pulling Valerie down into a snug side headlock. Dropping her hips low, Christina clamped her arms tight around the head, bicep pressing firm as she gave a short squeeze to settle into control.

So, Christina Perez. What sort of pro-wrestler are you?

Going into this, Valerie had done some homework, as she always did when taking on a new opponent, though that was only going to get her so far in a case like this. The skill gap was wide, here, and there was only so much she could glean from watching clips on YouTube. The picture she did manage to paint was one of a well-rounded wrestler, solid in her fundamentals, with enough skill to adapt regardless of what was thrown her way.

A tough nut to crack. But Valerie was going to crack her.

Determined, she moved in as the bell rang and rang and jockeyed for position, tangling up with a collar-and-elbow out of the gate. Christina got the better of the exchange to start out, working her around, going from the wristlock to the hammerlock to a headlock with practised ease. Impressive stuff.

Valerie smirked at the comment, even with the headlock grinding down on her. She wanted to see what she could do? Okay.

Valerie pulled back, driving them into the ropes behind them, then bounced off and forced them forward. She used the momentum to aid her as she pushed at her opponent’s back, then sent her off running with a hard shove, tossing her to far side of the ring. Valerie sprinted after her soon after, planted her feet hard into the middle of the ring, and attempted to shoulder check Chrstina when she came back, wanting to make sure she full understood who she was dealing with.

Christina came off the ropes with speed, eyes sharp as she spotted Valerie planting herself for the collision. Instead of lowering her shoulder, Christina went high, leaping off her feet and snapping her forearm across Valerie’s jaw with a sharp crack!

The crowd popped at the sudden impact as Christina landed on her feet with practiced balance, barely pausing before snatching Valerie by the wrist. With a firm yank, she spun her opponent around and sent her whipping hard across the ring. As Valerie came rushing back, Christina stepped in and attempted to drive her knee up like a piston and bury it into her opponent's midsection with a stiff kitchen sink!

Though they were both middleweights, it was easy to see the differences between them, already showing clear in this match. Valerie was on the further side of the middleweight spectrum - she wasn’t slow, but she wasn’t winning any races. Christina, on the other hand, could move like the wind, and she showed that speed as she blazed across the ring.

Valerie had hoped to knock down with a stiff shoulder, but instead wound up taking a shot to the face, a stiff blow that rattled her jaw. Christina was quick to take advantage of the opening she’d made, seizing Valerie and sending her running off to the corner before she could take another breath.

She hit them, bounced back, and found a knee waiting for her when she returned, one that went deep into her gullet and drove her breath out. Instead of letting that knee fall, however, Valerie reached out and wrapped one arm around the thing, clutching it close while the other one went around Christina’s shoulder.

Valerie gritted her teeth, arched her back, pulled her foe off the canvas, and hurled her overhead, attempting to release her at the apex and send her careering across the ring with an Exploder Suplex.

Christina felt Valerie clamped down on her leg. Before she could brace, she was hauled clean off the canvas, her body whipping overhead in a sharp arc. She hit the mat hard from the Exploder Suplex, the impact jolting through her back and shoulders, forcing a grunt from her lips.

Rolling with the momentum, Christina scrambled up fast, not willing to stay grounded so early in the match. She rose to her feet quickly, but the suplex had her staggering, her balance off. Instinct carried her to the ropes, one hand clutching the top strand for support as she tried to steady her breathing.

The Kyoto crowd came alive, cheering for Valerie’s power as Christina lingered on the ropes, momentarily dazed and giving her opponent the opening she needed to press the attack before the Fighting Filipina could fully recover.
