"...shit...", was the first word Navi said upon waking up.

Despite her vision being blurry, she saw Tina standing over her, ref and cameraman was gone, and the arena was shaking with crowd's cheers.

She lost. Plain and simple and easy to see.

And yet...Tina still apparently wanted something from her. She sat up, planning to turn her back, and leave...

...only for her to remember that she just went through one of the most hard-hitting matches in her life.

Everything hurt. Arms, legs, head, back, torso, chest...her body was not willing to move any further, as if itself forcing the blonde to talk to the Tigress:

"I am not answering shit...", she would let out in a raspy, yet quiet tone...

"You damn well better..." Tina said as she gasped for breath, staggering about as officials from the arena were trying to run her belt over to her from the ring after her win. They still had a ways to go given where the match ended. "Why the hell have you been attacking me after my title matches?" Tina asked, leaning against the wall to better stand up and to stop the room from spinning. She was hurting and the roll of the match was quickly catching up now that her adrenaline dump was kicking in, her body shaking.

Navi wouldn't bother standing up, knowing that the process might end with her in an even more embarassing position to the one she already was in a second ago:

"This is wrestling. Conflict creates drama. Drama makes cash and people wanting to see matches. Why do you think there aren't like 100 security guys to stop brawls in the ring? Why isn't anyone fired the first time they interfere in a match?"

"I've gotten too soft from the tourney. Expected to be the best, and all my dreams to come true right away. And you, a massive fucking wall in my path, made them fall to the ground in an instance."

"And no matter how much I requested the LAW management to allow me to challenge you for the title after you won it, they responded with worse than nothing, I barely got any fucking matches in the time between We Are LAW and your match with that pervert fucking cat."

"So, conflict was the only way to speak to the management on their level. But...it's over now. Guess now they will stop booking me again, until I either cause shit again, or just leave the company..."
, Navi would finish explaining, right as the medics started approaching to help both ladies to the infirmary...

So that was it. Tina now thought it made sense at least in some way. She wanted to be a champion so bad any sort of morals had been over-ridden by a drive for success regardless of method. It still didn't give her an excuse to do what she did in Tina's mind but she did have a better understanding of what was going through Navi's mind.

"After a match like this they will want to book you as much as they can. You said it yourself, you put butts in seats. Ya still don't need to attack me when my back is turned or go out of your way to make someones life a living hell in the arena though. You will get matches, and I know Alaina always spoke highly of you guys inside the ring. She knows what you can do and I know she has told management about it. They listen to her, once she retires again she has told me she is toying with a job in LAW as interviewer or roster manager of some kind." Tina said with a shrug. "You just need to let your work in the ring do the talking, none of this outside attacking bullshit. People will see what you can do and they'll want to see you more." Tina said as she kept looking Navi in the eye as both women were being checked on by the medical staff.

"Well...they didn't do shit. I sent requests, and they gave me matches expecting me to lose. I won some of them...but they have nothing for me..."

...still, what Tina mentioned about Alaina and her thoughts of her...made her mellow out a little for one of the few times in months:

"I'll...I'll believe it when I see it. I am not stopping with bullshit right now. One person will avoid me no matter...and I am not done with her by a long shot. You weren't my sole target in that first attack, Tina..."

With that, Navi would rise, fighting through the pain to leave on her own 2 feet, ignoring the medical staff as she held her hurting head. She'd make it to infirmary herself for a full check up...

Tina shook her head as Navi turned to leave. There was regular stubborn and then there was Navi levels of stubborn. The referee handed Tina her title which she held high, hobbling along as she herself needed to be checked out and cleared by medical before she did anything else. Tina had won but she was very banged up. She had two matches with Navi, both wins, but the toll they took on her was incredible. For now Tina was content to take in her win, hobbling away victorious and knowing that she would soon have another title match coming.

Winner via pinfall: Tina "Tigress" Armstrong retains LAW Middleweight Championship
