Meeting a blonde bunny at the gym! (For CapL)

With the Pay-Per-View behind her, and the rest of the year still ahead of her, Clara wsa going to the gym even more than usual now, especially with sparring partners to hone in her skill for a potential win at LAW’s Apex event…

…though sadly, for today, Alice, Chika and Kay were all gone on their own business, leaving Clara to just workout for the day, lest she found someone to spar with for the day.

For now, she started her training with a little bench press training, focusing to try and improve her physical strength to better throw women during matches!

Molly Forster was on her way up. The last few months had been a whirlwind of excitement for her and brought many big changes - first the start of her relationship with Harmonia Edelstein, then forming a tag team with her as the Superstars, and most recently, the two of them enjoying a victory against Irish Oldschool that had won the hearts of many a fan to their side. Molly had never quite enjoyed popularity like this before, and she was thrilled to begin an exciting new chapter of her life - the future seemed to hold nothing but bright and shining opportunities for her and Harmonia. But she was keenly aware that if she wanted to stay on top of her success, she would need to keep up with her training - and that was what had brought her to the LAW gym, in preparation for her next match.

However, when Molly stepped into the room, she froze in her tracks. Could it be? She looked closer, inspecting the other gym-goers - and she couldn't help but shake the thought that one of them looked very familiar. She had seen her on TV, of course. In fact, that was the only way she would have recognized her, considering that the only time they'd met in person, she was behind a mask! Since then, Molly had followed Clara Gaster's rise to fame, carving out a place for herself on LAW as the Shadow Lord and coming into her own way as a wrestler on her own merits...but she would never forget that the first time they crossed paths was years ago, when they were both getting their start on the British independent circuit.

When Molly went on to join LAW, too, she was hoping that she might run into her again some day. But it wasn't to be - Clara had been on hiatus for quite some time. That was, until now.

"CLARA!!" Molly came running up to the girl, waiting for a moment she had put her weights down so that she could throw her arms around her shoulders and pull her into a hug. "How've you been?! Oh man, it's been so long since I've seen you-! Er, I mean..." Molly sat up straighter on her knees, clearing her throat before dropping down into a bow and continuing in a more serious voice. "Your loyal minion welcomes your return, O great master of darkness! Oh, would you rather I not do that..?"

As Clara did a set of lifts, she stood up, and heard someone calling her name! And turning...she saw a blonde rushing towards her, before giving her a friendly hug! Clara barely kept standing as she recognized the blonde's long hair, cheery attitude and big cute ribbon - Molly Forster of the British Bunnies, and more recently, of the superstars! She met the girl on the British indies, and as fate would have it, both women ended up in Japan at the current height of their career.

Once Molly released her, she also greeted her as the Shadow Lord, prompting a giggle from Clara:

"Whichever way you prefer is fine, Molly...and I am very happy to see you here.", she warmly smiled at the girl: "Although I guess, I haven't introduced myself properly to you as...well, Clara. Sooo, nice to meet you!"

"How have you been? How are you finding LAW so far? I've been gone for a while and still catching up on everything that's happening since I was gone"

Molly's grin practically split her face from ear to ear as she listened in on what GASTER - or, Clara, rather - had to say. Without a doubt, their careers had both been eventful ones. Clara had cemented herself as a part of LAW history, being a finalist in the inaugural Lightweight Championship tournament, and she had made her presence known in every card she had attended, quickly becoming a fan favorite for both her aptitude in grappling and her unique presentation and personality. Molly had recognized her as soon as she started following LAW, and when she herself was hired to the promotion, she had hoped that some day the day would come that she'd be able to congratulate her for all her hard work face to face.

But Molly, too, had a lot to bring Clara up to speed about. In the time since GASTER went on hiatus, she and Harmonia Edelstein had met, fallen in love, formed a tag team, and quickly went on to become a new sensation in the wrestling world. Granted, Harmonia's fortunes and media connections had given them an easy in for that, but it didn't matter - Molly knew she was on the rise, and hearing the fans cheer for her louder and more passionately than ever before never failed to set her heart aflutter. And now, Clara had all but given her the go-ahead to talk about all of it...something that she probably did without realizing what she was in for!

"It's okay, Clara," Molly said - giving her a wink as she did and giggling a little to herself. When she had been introduced to GASTER through her masked persona, to use her real name made her feel like she was in on a secret, even though Clara's identity was long since publicized. But then, she sucked in a breath - and once she started speaking, it was hard for her to stop.

"How's LAW going!? Oh, Clara, it's amazing! I don't suppose you've seen some of our matches? The way Moni and I work tog-OH! I don't think I even told you about Moni? Harmonia Edelstein? She's the greatest! She's strong, determined, beautiful...and she believed that I could go somewhere great, and she's just the sweetest person you'll ever meet! She helped train me, and now that we're working together as a tag team, we're better than ever! Please tell me you watched our match with Irish Oldschool, didn't you? I was soooo cool in that!!"

Molly practically jumped up and down for joy, recounting all of her proudest moments in the admittedly fairly short time she and Harmonia had been together. Then, she cleared her throat, noticably calming down as she stood up straighter, and her blush deepened. "Ahh, heheh, sorry...I got a little ahead of myself there..."

It’s been a wild 6 years since the two women have seen each other, as both matured into different pro wrestlers with very different journeys…though at the end of the day, ultimately, both improved tremendously from the last time they met, both met friends and enemies, both had found love in the ring.

Molly went a mile a minute as she discussed recent happenings in her career, especially stuff about one Harmonia Edelstein, and the duos swift rise to the top of the S Tier of LAW’s tag teams, to the point of being in the talking of the title shot going their way fairly soon.

”It’s ok!”, Clara giggled: ”It’s nice to se everything going right for you”

In truth though, the Irish Oldschool match was on her watch list, but couldn’t quite make time in her schedule to watch it. She decided, however, to forgo talking about issues the two women’s respective sisters were having that she heard about, deciding that she didn’t to know much about what was happening on that front to ruin such a fun meeting…

…though there was something else she could tease Molly about:

”You definitely grew up since you tried to help your sister win against Chika Igarashi, that’s for sure!”

Molly looked on at Clara with a big grin on her face. Ever since the two had parted ways, she had been following her exploits closely, watching as she rose from the timid girl she was back in the indies to where she was now, as one of the faces of LAW. But despite all that time, and despite where GASTER stood in the landscape of the company, she still saw Molly as a friend - the two of them could still feel comfortable swapping stories and wishing each other well for the future. Evidently, Clara had been following Molly's matches too, considering she was aware of Chelsea's match against Chika Igarashi - one that had seen Molly take a manager role, and one she had used to try and tip the odds in her sister's favor a couple of times.

Molly's cheeks flushed as she thought back on the match, recalling moments that now weren't her proudest. "Ah, hahah...you saw that? Okay, I'll admit, that was a little low of me...but I always want to stand up for Chelsea, no matter what," she explained, rubbing the back of her head. "I like to think I've moved past that now, though! Moni's helped me train, and I've made great improvements when it comes to wrestling. So has she! I don't think I'm going to need to cheat on her behalf - and besides, we have a lot of fans now, so I don't want to risk upsetting them if we do anything underhanded!"

Clara has long since admitted to herself that it took what it took to succeed in wrestling. Some people were born with proficiency in the sport…while for others, it helped that wrestling rules were a bit loose to allow for cheating…and in a way, this let anyone succeed in wrestling, depending on strength, skill or cunning.

”Don’t worry. I am closing my eyes on cheating for a while now…in fact I sometimes bend the rules in my favor quite frequently…”, she giggled. ”A little bit of rule breaking doesn’t even upset the fans, I’ve noticed…”

Hearing Clara's description, Molly giggled again. She had seen the girl come a long way, from being the shy girl with a penchant for theatrics she had met all the way back in the indies to becoming famous as the Shadow Lord of LAW. Even if she wasn't as active as she was in the early days of the promotion, Clara was still going strong, and she had carved out a niche for herself. If the fans were letting her get away with cheating, that was just proof of that.

"Well...I think it helps when the fans like you so much!" Molly chuckled to herself. "Can't say I blame them. The Shadow Lord thing is hard to forget, and it really helps you stand out. Plus, it's just that cool!" She shot Clara a thumbs-up before continuing. "You know, Moni and I are already getting a lot of cheers - so it kinda makes me wonder what they'll let us get away with! Ah, maybe I shouldn't try to test that, though..."

Then, though, at the mention of her new team, a thought came to Molly - and when it did, she shot straight up with a gasp. "Wait, wait! You and your sister have a tag team still, don't you?"

"Heheheh...", Clara blushed. Molly was right. Had fans not liked her beforehand, she likely wouldn't have been able to get away with as much as she did.

The talk went to Molly's girlfriend, and a particular question struck a chord with Clara:

"Ah...we...we did...but in LAW it didn't quite work out, and we decided to focus on our solo careers. We still have each other's backs..."

"A tag team match would be very fun...but I really need to find a partner first...", Clara would say, with slight disappointment in her voice. She's been trying to get a tag match booked with someone, but for one reason or another, things just didn't end up falling into place as everyone wanted...

"Oh..." Molly pouted when she heard that the Gaster sisters hadn't been able to make things work as a tag team in LAW. When she had discovered the Shadow Lord was still going strong in the promotion, she was hopeful that she might be able to get a tag match against the two of them. That was true when she was teaming with her own sister, and it was even more true now that she and Harmonia had formed an even stronger and more capable team as the Superstars. If it worked, it was sure to be a match no one could forget...but it seemed as though, sadly, it wouldn't.

Molly looked down with a sigh, her shoulders slumping. "Ah...that's too bad. Moni and I work really well, you know...seeing as we're dating and all." She giggled a little, a blush tickling her cheeks as she said it. "Even if it's just the two of us, that's fine...I imagine it'll probably be hard to find someone who can make as good a partner as Moni does for me. No offense..." She hoped Clara wouldn't feel belittled by her concerns - but the Superstars had the sort of cohesion that could only come from a team of two lovers, and if she was facing GASTER, she didn't want to put herself at an unfair advantage. That was a match she wanted in its purest element, with both competitors on even ground!
