Chika Igarashi vs Himeko - Kendo Stick Match

As much as Chika found it amusing being a swordfighter against Himiko, ultimately, 2 facts came to her head about the match:

1) Himeko was going to beat her up all over with a stick if she kept it as just a sword fight…which wasn’t the worst thing in the world because…

2) It was still a wrestling match. Kendo sticks were “allowed”…but so was everything else that wrestling allowed. And she wasn’t a sword fighter or a fencer…but a wrestler!

It was satisfying to catch Himeko by surprise, the surprised look on her face as she realized what Chika did. And she wasn’t done beating up her foe in the slightest, trying to follow up her punch with a Roundhouse Kick to her opponent’s head!

Shit... that hurt. Himeko's head throbbed from the punch, her jaw clenched tight as she let out a short hiss to note her displeasure.

Right. Punching. That was also a thing. Duly noted.

A string of swears and bitter remarks passed through her mind, but she had no time to voice them. Immediately after letting her guard down a kick swung her way. Himeko's nerves steeled themselves instantly, one arm up to try and intercept the incoming blow.

"Guh-!" And that kick nearly smashed right through her single arm, Chika's leg nailing both her blocking arm and her head as the Princess staggered to the side of the ring and leaning against the ropes. Shit... This was bad. The sucker punch already had her dizzy, taking anymore hits unprepared was going to put Himeko in a world of trouble if she didn't properly defend herself. Fine you shitty pigeon, we'll do it your way. So, she dropped the shinai in her hand, putting both arms in front of her in a semi-boxing stance, readying herself for the strikes to come.

With Himeko dropping her stick, Chika would do the same for now, stepping forward towards the Steel Princess to fight her with her main offense - strikes! Chika would quickly step up towards Himeko, trying to ram her elbow into the Princess’s jaw to try and keep her on the defensive!

With the new phase of their fight set the Princess braced herself for Chika's coming assault. It wasn't a sword fight anymore, but Himeko was far from weak unarmed. Now... what are you going to... Chika soon made the first move, coming right at Himeko with an elbow shot. Himeko tightened her guard, bringing her arms up as the strike came.

"Gh-!" The impact forced Himeko's body to sway to the side, her feet sliding an inch from her position, but she held firm, locking eyes with the Raven Knight.

"That it?"

Chika growled as her strike was blocked, her anger rising, as she tried to step forward. Anger towards her rival was starting to cloud her mind, as she tried to bring her leg up, going for a risky Roundhouse Kick on her rival!, not thinking about the consequences of her attack if it were to be blocked again…or worse, reversed by the Steel Princess!

And like clockwork Chika's fury was plain on her face after that cheap taunt. Himeko's eyes sharpened for what came next, seeing the wild roundhouse come her away. A powerful blow if it hit, but a telegraphed one that she could react to. Quickly dipping under her kick, Himeko avoided what was meant to be a decapitating head strike and moved right for Chika's supporting leg, reaching out to grab and pulling out from under her in a scooping motion to slam her down to the mat with little effort.

"GRAH!", Chika audibly cried out in frustration as her kick missed. She tried to quickly get her foot back onto the canvas...only for Himeko to grab at her leg, pulling it from under the Raven Knight as she fell onto the ground!

"AUGH!"

This time, the shout was one of pain. Instinctively, Chika covered her head to avoid a potential painful attack from her rival...

With a short exhale Himeko's body relaxed some. That... was too close a call for her liking. Even with the miss Himeko could feel the power from that last kick, and she wasn't in the mood to felt it colliding against her bones in the future. And with Chika on the mat and immediately guarding her face the Princess seemed to have a chance at taking out some of the power in her rival's legs. It was hard not to smirk at the realization, or at Chika's idea of what would come next. Guard might have been smart against some other wrestler, but a judoka like her had plenty of ways to hurt Chika without touching her face.

Case in point, with Chika's leg still in her grasp she started to hook the woman's foot right under her armpit, keeping a tight hold on it as she started falling back for a sudden and sharp heel hook hold.

Himiko successfully toppled Chika, and grabbed at her leg, brutally twisting her foot as she subjected the Raven Knight to a Heel Hook!

”GRAAAAARRRH!!!”, Chika practically roared in pain, and in frustration, knowing that the hold was a strategic move to weaken her primary offense, rather than get her to tap out! The Joshi tried to fight out of the hold by ramming her free foot into her rival’s chest!

”<Let…go!>”, she would scream at the Steel Princess in their native language!

Himeko grunted through gritted teeth at each kick that came her way, putting her all her focus on maintaining the submission. Apparently Chika couldn't just be a good girl and try scrambling for the ropes like every other wrestler. Still, it wasn't like the Princess's goal was to force out a submission. That wouldn't be fun nor would it send the message she wanted.

After a few more seconds of eating kicks Himeko finally released Chika, pulling herself back and quickly getting to her feet. The moment she did and move right for Chika's head with every intent to stomp her skull in for good measure before she got up. Hopefully the bit of time she took in that submission would slow her down enough for it.
