Vera vs Lotus - Fight for the Spotlight!

Vera's theme started playing as she practically danced on the entrance ramp, the crowd already having fallen in love with the large blunette as she posed and sent air kisses to the crowd.

This time, so excited was she about her match, that she approached a fan filming her, telling him to switch to the selfie mode on his phone...

...before faux kissing him on the cheek for him to make a photo, the fan reddening, as she continued on her way to the ring.

Once she slid inside the squared circle, she did one final pose for the crowd, showcasing her mighty frame, before leaving for her corner.

Vera would await Lotus. All she knew that she was a relatively new lady in LAW, so she was eager to see what her opponent was like...

While Vera made her entrance, the Lotus awaited her turn to be called up within backstage. Dressed in her form fitting leotard topped off with a vibrant red scarf, she closed her eyes and leaned against the wall with her arms crossed. Soon enough, she heard the music of her opponent's die down and become replaced by her own theme.

With an aloof expression, she stepped out onto the stage and slowly surveyed the watching crowds with a stoic gaze. Then she stared directly at Vera. The self-proclaimed ninja squinted slightly before she made her way towards the ring. Although her stride lacked any grand flair or showboating, her subdued but self-assured disposition left a deep impression on the audience nonetheless.

She slowly plodded up the steel steps before she vaulted over the ropes via an impressive jump. From there, she approached her corner and took off her scarf before nonchalantly chucking it over her shoulder. She then crossed her arms, closed her eyes, and leaned against the turnbuckles, completely neglecting the other wrestler's presence in the ring.

Vera would see Lotus enter the ring. The woman looked gorgeous, and even if she carried herself in a quiet manner, there definitely was pride in the woman as she athletically entered the ring, and tossing her scarf away, before resting at her turnbuckle, not paying any attention at Vera, drawing a displeased expression from the Russian's face.

Once both competitors showed that they were ready, the bell would ring, and the match would be on!

Vera would proudly step into the middle of the ring, with one hand up into the air, challenging Lotus to a Test of Strength!

The Lotus snapped her eyes open when she heard the bell ring. She silently watched Vera draw closer and present her hand, seemingly for a test of strength. The corner's of Miyuki's lips curled upwards into a faint grin as she moved to accept the challenge, confidently marching over to grab hold of her opponent's hands.

"The Lotus finds your initiative impressive." She declared bluntly before she started pushing against the Russian. "But you are overmatched by the Lotus." However, the Lotus was mistaken. As soon as her foe started contesting her, she would find herself being forced back. If so, she would take a step back and her smirk would transform into a half-irritated, half-confused grimace as she tried to put some more power into her arms.

As Lotus grabbed Vera's hand, initiated test of strength, and addressed her, a realization made it's way to Vera's mind:

"Did...she just speak about herself in third person?"

Regardless, Lotus would turn out to be incorrect. Vera would be easily overpowering her kunoichi foe, driving her back easily towards the ropes, much to Lotus's chagrin.

"Are you sure about that, dear?", she would respond to Lotus's earlier claim.

"Erg!.." Gnashing her teeth, the Lotus fought to turn the tide. Her biceps tensed and her veins bulged as she pushed with all her might, but it was to no avail; she continued losing ground to her opponent. "This is... The Lotus isn't... HAH!" She suddenly threw her head forwards, attempting to headbutt Vera directly on her nose.

Should Miyuku's headbutt connect, she would abandon the test of strength before performing a discus motion and swinging a backhand chop at the side of the other bluenette's neck. "The Lotus is correct." The Lotus stated if the chop landed. Then she proceeded to lift both arms in the air. "Lotus Slicer!" Announcing the name of her signature move (mongolian chop), she swung her arms downwards and tried to chop both of Vera's shoulders.

"Huhuhu...yes, Lotus is------AAAUGH!!!"

Vera cried out in pain as the headbutt hit her squarely on the nose, Vera dropping the test of strength, her arms instinctively going to her hurting nose...fully allowing Lotus to capitalize on her disadvantageous position.

First, Lotus delivered a hard chop to Vera's neck, the blunette grunting out in pain, before Lotus followed up with a Mongolian chop, dropping Vera to her knees in front of her foe!

The Lotus crossed her arms as she loomed over a kneeling Vera, still reeling from the mongolian chop. "You think that strength is all there is to a match?" Miyuki arrogantly questioned her foe while at the same time, slowly walking backwards to set herself up for her next move. "Whatever you think, none of that means a thing to the Lotus."

She closed her eyes and quickly performed some ninjutsu hand signs, though her hand signs were very clearly a poor imitation of the real thing. Then with some more martial theatrics, she mimicked Bruce Lee's iconic fighting pose and shouted. "Lotus Kick!" Once again announcing the name of her own signature move (superkick), she stepped forwards and thrusted her foot right at Vera's face.

Vera hissed in pain as Lotus...taunted her, in a very unique fashion, before doing a prolonged poses and theatrics as she rested.

A few seconds later, Lotus unleashed her Superkick, at which Vera easily leapt slightly to the left of the leg, catching it with her arm, before wrapping her arm around Lotus's other leg, lifting her off the canvas, spinning her, and dropping her hard on the canvas with a Spinebuster!

"Eh?.." The Lotus's eyes widened upon seeing her opponent dodge her kick. However, she did not see the full extent of her failure until she was caught up in Vera's grasp and subjected to her spinning spinebuster. "Gah!" Miyuki grunted in pain as her back crashed onto the canvas. With her arms flung over her head, she stared at the ceiling and blinked in confusion, too dazed to defend herself against whatever the Russian planned to do next.
