Battle of The Masks! (La Fantasma vs GASTER)

Her attempts to draw in Clara didn’t work out exactly how Fantasma planned, her opponent was a cautious one with the smart decision of letting Fantasma come to her in her state rather than the other way around. Such a stand off would have been perfect for an wounded one such as Fantasma to continue the stand off and drag it out as long as possible to ride out the pain in her foot. But Fantasma was not one of those people. Already fired up, she wasn’t going to let her fire just simmer, she wanted to explode on to Clara!

Placing weight on her good feet, she would launch herself at Clara, staying low to the ground as she threw her arm out to hook on Clara’s waist to swing herself around behind Clara’s back and secure a waist lock. If she was successful, Fantasma would squeeze on Clara’s waist before shoving her forward into the ropes, looking to use the spring to roll her opponent backwards for an O Connor roll up!

As Clara challenged Fantasma, the luchadora would accept, launching for Clara...and slipping past her, wrapping her arms around her waist before shoving her into the ropes with her front. Clara had no way to stop herself, not even time to turn her back to generate momentum, as she bounced off them, with Fantasma coming quickly from behind, grabbing the Shadow Lord and quickly rolling the two women backwards for an O'Connor Roll, pinning Clara to the ground!

"ONE!"

"TWO! NO!"

Clara would try to continue the motion, to roll through and pin Fantasma instead! But with how surprised she was by the manuever, her pin was fairly unstable, unable to even properly bridge or grab Fantasma's legs to secure it!

Wrapping around and rolling up her opponent, Fantasma managed to pull a pinning position as she was practically sitting on Clara with both of the opposing legs dangling behind her. She planted both of her hands on Clara’s thighs to keep her opponent grounded and tried to sneak a win out from underneath Clara!

But as the referee counted, Fantasma got only up to the dreaded two count and in a fashion that was the most darkest of situations as Clara not only broke out of the pin, but used her momentum to pull Fantasma backwards! Her eyes widened as her stability literally slipped out from underneath her, rolling back on the mat as Clara reverse their positioning entirely!

“ONE!”

“TWO!”

The referee counted but the shock of the changed fortunes wore off of Fantasma enough for her to kick out, shoving on the back of Clara while thrusting her legs up to break out of the quickly attained pin. Scrambling up after rolling backwards, Fantasma knew she had to land something big to swing momentum in her favor as she got up to a crouching stance, not rising up to her full length to quicken her reaction time to lunge forward, twisting towards Clara to try and land a super kick from behind!

At 2, Fantasma managed to kick out of the hold, kicking Clara off. The Brit expected that, but at least she hoped she bought a bit of time by confusing the luchadora with her counter-pin...

But right as the Brit tried to turn around...

THUD!!!

The hard sound was hearable to the front row seats in the arena as the crowd groaned in sympathy, Fantasma's kick successfully nailing Clara in the back of the head...

Clara stayed standing for a second...before falling down as if she had lost consciousness! In actuality, Clara's mind flickered between conscious and unconscious from the blow, the Brit desperately trying to stay awake...

A cracking clap echoed out as Fantasma's boot connected with Clara's head, whipping the Lord of Darkness' head forward as she caught her completely by surprise. With Clara splayed out on the mat, Fantasma took a moment to catch her breath as her opponent was in prime positioning to secure a pinfall. But with adrenaline running through Fantasma's veins, her body was running on a high and it wasn't stopping for a pin attempt!

Racing over to the ropes, Fantasma would look over her shoulder for a brief visual confirmation of how much distance she needed to cover before committing to an aerial assault! Gripping the top rope, Fantasma leapt up onto the top rope, sinking down her weight before springing off and flipping backwards as she soared through the air, attempting to drop down onto Clara's back with a Springboard Moonsault!

Clara managed to stay on the “conscious” end of “being hit by a Superkick”, slowly stirring, but still unable to control her limbs…right as she felt loud, fast steps across the ring, before they stopped…and a few moments later, something would land across her back!

”MGGGGGH!!!”, she grunted, as the Luchadora successfully delivered the Moonsault to her rival’s back!

Crashing down onto Clara's back, all of Fantasma's weight and momentum came crashing down across of her opponent's back. The wind was knocked out of her by her own move, popping off of Clara to stand on her knees with her arms shooting in around her stomach. Her features twisted in pain, but the sacrifice of an aerial attack was worth it for the white haired girl.

Gritting her teeth to push out a smile, she would hook on to Clara's arm as she pushed into her, pushing on the girl to roll her onto her back as she would quickly follow up by laying on top, going for the pin attempt!

Despite Fantasma even driving the air out of herself from her Moonsault, she would very quickly try to pin Clara after the powerful attack. She rushed the pin, however, as Clara’s legs were still free to help her with the kickout!

“TWO!”

“TH—-NO!”

Clara forcibly turned herself with the Luchadora on top of her as she lifted her shoulder up!

Fantasma was ready to taste the sweet victory as she bore herself into Clara, feeling the referee smack the mat as she bobbed her head in tune. But victory would not come so easily for her as Clara forced her way up with the use of her legs. The oversight from Fantasma soon dawned upon her as she laid on the mat, disbelief washing over her before frustration took it's place. She pounded the mat as she pushed herself up, pain in her abdomen still burning hotly as she winced as she stood up.

She knew she had to keep the pressure up if she wanted to win. She reached down for the handful of black hair of Clara's head to pull her back up to her feet, looking to put the exclamation mark on the match to finish off Clara!

Pulling up Clara, she moved her hand to grip on Clara's wrist while the other wrapped around her leg, attempting to lift her opponent up onto her shoulders as she tried to set up for her finishing move!

Clara was downed after Fantasma's attacks, but far from out. The pinfall woke the Brit up, so as Fantasma lifted her up by her hair (Clara wincing as the Luchadora pulled at her scalp), Clara tried to see what her rival wanted to go for next...

...and, once up on Fantasma's shoulders in Fireman's Carry position, Clara would strike, trying to deliver hard elbows to her foe's jaw, and slip from her back behind her!

From there, Clara tried to seize the Luchadora into a Full Nelson, not keeping her trapped foe long as she tried to toss her back onto her neck and shoulders for a Dragon Suplex!
