Melody Serperior vs "Prism Girl" Anzu Mazaki - 5 Count Match

If there was one aspect Melody might've praised Anzu in, it was her resourcefulness. Of course, she couldn't do that, since she was panicking as she was about to collide with the canvas head-first.

After the clothesline, despite the thunderous hit to her head, Anzu would manage to fight throught the pain, and trap Melody's foot between her legs to trip the green-ette with a drop toe hold!

As she landed on her arms and head, she felt a bit of pain surging through her skull due to the bad landing. Melody tried to get back to her feet as fast as she could, but it seemed that the Prism Girl would just be a tad faster to capitalized on her downed opponent!

Anzu had an advantage currently and she wasn't going to let it go to waste. Anzu would try to take advantage of Melody's shocked state by attempting to roll Melody up for an early pin in the Oklahoma Roll. If this worked Melody would be tied up with her shoulders on the mat for the referee to begin counting. Anzu hoped this worked hoping to snag a victory forgetting that the pin count for this match was 5 as opposed to the normal 3. The LAW crowd would watch with anticipation as the action continued.

Right when Melody attempted to get to her feet, Anzu took a hold of the green-ette's head and leg, rolling her onto her back for a pin attempt! Melody would yelp as the ref would hit the mat for the first time:

"ONE!"

Forgetting momentarally that she had a whole 4 seconds to kick out at the same time as Anzu, Melody collected herself, and tried to shove the Prism Girl away from her, hurrying to break the pin!

"There is no chance in hell that THAT would keep me down, Prism Girl"

Anzu would quickly get back up to her feet and she'd look at Melody. Anzu heard her opponent's words before she'd reply by saying. "It was worth a shot, right?" Anzu said before she'd try to run past Melody to the ropes behind the green haired woman. Then Anzu would try to jump off the ropes to try and nail Melody with a Springboard Kick to her opponent. Anzu wasn't she where the kick would hit or if Melody dodged, she just hoped her foot found a good target.

Melody kept a close look on her opponent as Anzu rushed past her to jump on and off of the nearby ropes, Melody turning to ensure Prism Girl wouldn't go for anything that would mean trouble for her...

...only to see Anzu's foot going right at her! Instictively, Melody covered her face with both hands. She managed to somewhat block her kick, but the impact still took her off her feet! Melody tried to get back up to her feet before Anzu got the upper hand on her!

Anzu was able to hit the Springboard Kick. Granted Melody was able to block the move, but Anzu still had a chance. Anzu would wait for Melody to get up to her knees before she'd start repeatedly swinging roundhouse kicks to Melody's chest over and over again with the LAW crowd actually getting hyped about it and counting along with each kick that landed. Anzu hoped she could finish this kick combo with nine kicks to Melody's chest and one last one to the head for good measure, but it was still early in the match so Anzu could only hope that Melody was dazed enough to get hit with all 10 kicks.

"GAAAH! AAAAGHHH!", Melody grunted and shouted with each kick Anzu landed on her, slightly dazed to react to each of them in time due to Prism Girl's earlier springboard kick. The stiff kicks left read marks on her chest, with the crowd cheerfully counting along with Anzu until the count of 9.

And that was because, at Anzu's 10th kick, Melody would finally catch the Magician's leg. Finally getting to her feet, the greenette would keep her opponent trapped, before tossing Anzu on her back with a Dragon Screw Leg Whip!

Anzu's eyes widened as Melody aught her leg. The LAW crowd would cheer before Anzu would feel the pain of the Dragon Screw Leg Whip coursing throughout her leg. Anzu would hold her knee in pain before she'd attempt to roll underneath the bottom rope to escape to the outside of the ring so she could have some separation from her opponent. Anzu needed time to recover but she still didn't have any clue what her opponent had in store for her. AShe just knew she needed to rethink her strategy going back into the match.

Right as Melody expected to follow up her attack on Anzu, the girl rolled underneath nearby ropes, away from her green-haired opponent.

The Prism Girl took her time outside the ring as the greenette rubbed her sore chest after Anzu's kicks. Her 9 kicks certainly left their mark. Literally, as compared to Melody's pale body, her upper chest had a massive red mark where Anzu attacked her over and over again...

Keeping her look on the magician themed wrestler, the ref starting to count after Anzu rolled through the ropes, Melody felt Anzu was taking way too much time. Rethinking strategy was one thing, Anzu would recover from pretty much all the offense she inflicted on the girl earlier!

Growing angry with Anzu, Melody rushed towards the ropes opposite to where the magical girl was. Upon gaining enough momentum, Melody would run towards the ropes close to Anzu, sliding through them, trying to tackle the girl to the ground with her momentum from the Tope Suicida!

Anzu was taking her ttime recovering on the outside. So much so she became complacent, then the LAW crowd would cheer. Anzu would turn around to get an eyeful of what they were cheering about. Anzu's eyes widened as she saw Melody flying through the ropes and ended up sandwiching Prism Girl in between Melody and the edge of the announce table behind her. "AAAUUUGGGHHHH!!!!!!" Anzu screamed in pain as she buckled down onto the cold floor on the outside feeling pain in her stomach and her back from the move. It was clear Melody was in the driver's seat now.
