Akari Hakune vs Phoebe Justice - Heroic Fight!

Phoebe was interested in tonight's fight. Her opponent was a cosplayer from America, who came over to Japan from her love of Japanese culture...not a 100% dissimilar reason to Phoebe. Both women admired different aspects of it, admittedly, but Phoebe could still see why a detective who loved and styled herself after tokusatsu shows would be pitted against the heroic samurai!

As the day and time of the match arrived, Phoebe would make her way down to the ring on her motorcycle, carefully driving down the entrance ramp, and around the ring, parking it close to the commentary desk.

From there, the Detective would hop onto the ring apron...and then onto the top rope to springboard off it with a flip, landing perfectly on her feet, before striking a heroic pose with a hand over her chest! Phoebe's song would quiet down, she would pass her mask, coat and scarf to the outside, and away the Samurai of Red's arrival in her respective corner...

The moment Hakune read over the kind of opponent she was going to face this time around she couldn't help but feel her heart flutter a little. Not only was her opponent someone from her home country, but one that also understood the cool and fun aspects of Japan! Apparently a sort of detective too, which was extra cool! Hakune was bouncing around her locker room from just the thought of trading blows with someone like that. Ooh~ Facing off against a fellow hero of justice in a battle of will and strength! Super exciting! Super cool!

So wrapped up in her thoughts she nearly missed her cue to go out on stage. "Alright, I can do this! Fighto!" With the rallying cry to herself, her theme kicked on and she was off.

In a haze of white smoke the Red Samurai appeared with sword in hand as she quite literally cut through the fog. The already excited crowd cheered her arrival and responded in kind, boldly display her black blade as she confidently marched down the ring. The crowd cheered and celebrated her, and she in turned waved and smiled at the all, even high-five-ing a few of them on her way down. And just as she got down to the ringside she caught a glimpse of the motorcycle just at the edge of the announcement table. So cool~ She thought, marveling at the vehicle before tearing her gaze away to meet her opponent's.

Ooh~ She looks cool too! The Samurai's eyes lit up, and she immediately hopped onto the ring, bowing to the crowd, then to her opponent before setting her sword to her corner. There she looked over her opponent with a bright and excited smile. It was so tempting to just run over to her ask a plethora of questions about her attire, motorcycle, and other interests, but she had to hold back. She couldn't call herself a proper warrior if she let her emotions just sway her into acting on instinct. For now, she wait, hands balled up into tiny, excited, fists as she found herself leaning forward toward the woman, eyes bright and lips curl into a smile.

As a blade cut through the fog, Pheobe couldn’t help but be impressed with her opponent’s entrance, nodding in approval…even if she was fangirling more on the inside. She wasn’t the only one, however, as Akari would marvel at her bike parked at ringside, Phoebe taking it as a point of pride…before Akari turned to her, looking with amazement towards her opponent…with even a bit of a blush forming on the usually stoic woman’s cheeks.

Akari bowed to the crowd and to her in respect, while the Detective nodded, still wearing a serious expression towards Akari’s warm smile, putting her hands up, as she waited for the bell to ring…

DING DING DING!

And as the match started, she would close in towards Akari, looking to grapple with the Samurai!

Hakune bounced on the balls of her feet, eyes practically glittering as she watched her opponent. Despite her flashy attire she seemed to be the more stoic type given her small and mild reaction. Honestly, that just made her even cooler by Hakune's standards. So exciting! She shifted from foot to foot, both loosening up and letting her own excitement carry her. And once the bell rang Hakune rose her hands in knife-like fashion and approached.

"Koi!"

She moved forward, approaching Phoebe's offer to grapple with her own, her hands going to the woman's neck for a simple collar-and-elbow grapple to start things off.

The two Americans would clash in the middle of the ring with a traditional Collar and Elbow Tie Up, Phoebe initially trying to ground her rival...to little success. Though she wasn't the best at technical wrestling, she tried to transition into grabbing her rival's arm for a wristlock, trying to do some early damage!
