Clara settled down on the ship. The actual show for Fight the LAW was going to be in a few days, and regardless of what was going to happen on the show, she was going to enjoy a little vacation to the fullest…

…though it was hard to forget that she had to fight in a brutal match which she had to survive to get what she wanted - safety for Alice.

Her sister didn’t approve. She expected that really. Alice seemed to be on the ship, but the moment Clara noticed her and tried to wave at her, she turned another way and left.

She would’ve loved to confer with Chika on the matter…but she had her own difficult brutal match ahead of her. In fact, she decided to not take the cruise and stay in Tokyo, to train to her fullest before her match. She hoped Kay could make it to the ship…but due to her past misdemeanors, LAW encountered a problem confirming her getting on board of the ship, meaning she couldn’t come with…

…leaving the British girl all alone on the massive ship.

She tried to keep a low profile, sticking to the bottom of the ship to watch at the water world below and her own room to stay out of Yuzuha’s way…but she realized that someone like Yuzuha would probably keep herself out of sight. So for now, she would rest up, with occasional trips to the cruise’s small gym to train up for her match…

Though as she laid in the sun in her bikini near the pool, she wondered - how would she prepare for a deathmatch?

Arachne's Casual Theme

Unlike Clara, who seemed to be weighted down with drama, Arachne was in much higher spirits. The Villainess of the Spider Web was on the same cruise ship, preparing for her first PPV match against Thereisa Niedermeyer. The two wrestlers would be fighting in a Falls Count Anywhere match, meaning the loser could be defeated anywhere on the ship! This was something Arachne was looking to take advantage off. She was preparing in advance by lurking through the whole vessel, thinking about the creative ways she could use various things here to her advantage.

She had even taken the liberty of setting up a some traps around the ship! Occasionally, a hapless soul would accidently fall into one of these traps the spider had set, only for Arachne to simply laugh and set it up again. She'd do this as many times as she needed. She was a patient girl. And besides, these random suckers were just proving how effective the traps were, much to the villain's amusement.

Arachne eventually came by the pool Clara was relaxing near. She noticed there was table near the pool that had buttons controlling the water level. "This is just perfect." Arachne snickered. "If I can get Thea in here, and make it so all the water gets quickly drained out, she'll be sucked down in the bottom of the pool. Arachne is pure, evil genius! Mwahahahaha!" Eventually, Arachne would notice Clara there and call out to her. "Hey you! If you're here to see the PPV matches, you'll get the privilege of witnessing Arachne completely humiliate Theresia through this entire ship! Hahaha!"

Clara was absorbed in her thoughts…but not to a point where she caught a fully dressed lady skulking in the corner of her eye, looking and sounding like she was scheming for something. At first she paid her little mind…and then the woman called out to her:

”Ah! …what?”

Confused, Clara finally snapped out of her thoughts, and focused on the masked lady in front of her, especially after she mentioned the name: “Theresia”, another person who just seemed to want to keep interfering in her girlfriend’s life:

”Mggh…yeah. I will gladly use that privilege…kick her bu—oh wait…you are Arachne?”

The name finally clicked in Clara’s mind, putting both it and the woman’s face together:

”You are the lady who smother—AHEM!”, Clara tried to say, getting red in the face from embarrassment of saying it, before correcting herself:

”…beat Chika in an Apex Qualifier, right?”

Arachne quickly caught on that Clara was embarrassed to say the word "smother" for some reason, given how it immediately made her red faced. It reminded the spider of how her friend Antonia would get, whenever her delicate pride was even slightly wounded. Arachne decided to tease Clara with this knowledge.

"Indeed, I am Arachne! The lady who smothered out Chika in a Apex Qualifier smother match, using my evil, sexy, smothery bubble butt." The spider teased, turning her plump backside towards Clara and smacking it, making it jiggle a bit. Arachne then turned back around and approached Clara. "Oh and do I detect a tad of resentment in your voice regarding Thereisa? Of course I'll kick her butt and sit on her face, but what do you have against her? Arachne absolutely adores drama! HehHehHeh."

"Mgggh...", Clara let out in embarrassment, growing red-faced as Arachne let Clara know in full detail how she smothered Chika.

"Be lucky she can't hear you. Chika hates people gloating about beating her...", Clara would giggle, while still red-faced, before focusing the conversation back to Thereisa:

"Yeah...she's been bullying my girlfriend non-stop in recent months. If you could smother her for the win, that would make my day...easier...yeah..."

This definitely could've helped Clara vent a little bit of her troubles if that happened, though her mind drifted back to her own match that would happen the same night as Arachne's

"Psssh. I wish Chika was here to hear me. That sounds hilarious!" Arachne snickered, adoring the idea of annoying a past opponent by rubbing in the fact that she beat them with her plump, smothery rear. Widow was having quite a bit of fun teasing Chika with the smother-talk. But as the conversation shifted back to Theresia, things would take a slightly more serious turn. She mentioned that the member of Cyber Legacy had been bullying her girlfriend, and that seeing Arachne smother the heavyweight out would ease her mind a bit.

"Hmmmm. Admittly, teaching bullies a lesson falls more within my friend Honie's department. She's all heroic and whatnot." Arachne chuckled. "But sure! Theresia has called by butt "little" and "flat", which Chika can personally tell you is far from true. HehHeh! So Arachne was planning on smothering her out anyways. I'm sure you wouldn't call my booty that, eh?" Arachne would turn around, before teasingly pulling her leotard into a wedgie to moon Clara, showing off how thick that spider butt really was!

Clara giggled one last time at Chika's misfortune, even knowing that that would've gotten her a mean, rough look from her friend.

With that, the talk between the villainous and former villainous lightweights got into Arachne's upcoming match, as the cute Spider lady was very confident to Clara about beating Thereisa...all the while taunting Clara about her butt, even showcasing the barely clad rear to the Shadow Lord:

"O-oooh...", Clara got red-faced out of embarrassment...and the fact that Arachne's butt was as big and round as she was advertising.

"Definitely wouldn't describe it like that, haha...", Clara would say, quietly wishing to get paired with the confident villainess one of these days after the PPV was done...

...if she survived the PPV that is.

The thoughts about her upcoming deathmatch entered her mind once more, the laughter quickly quieting down as even the color escaped from her cheeks, growing quiet for a moment...

Arachne stuck her tongue out at Clara, after flustering the former villainess, by mooning Clara on the spot. But soon enough, Arachne fixed up her leotard and turned back around. "Good. Then unlike in Old Theresia's case, there seems to be nothing wrong with your vision!" The spider snickered proudly, hearing Clara confirm the thiccness of her buggy butt.

Widow then noticed that as Clara's blush started to fade, she'd stop laughing and begin growing quiet. But Arachne was quick to continue the conversation! "So what else is on your mind?" Arachne asked. "You're a wrestler on this ship. Ya got a PPV match upcoming too or what? Who's the ding dong you're looking to terrorize? HehHehHeh!"

Arachne snapped Clara out of her thoughts. In truth, she barely knew Arachne besides her beating Chika...but she needed to vent to someone...anyone:

"Yeah...I'm terrorizing...haha...I am in a deathmatch against Yuzuha Takamiya...she is considered one of the main hardcore gals in wrestling, while I...did one against the person I am protecting her from. I am actually worried I am going to get maimed...if not outright killed...", Clara would gulp, explaining her worries to the spider villainess.

Arachne was somewhat surprised that Chara was opening up to her mischief-loving, troublemaking behind of all people. Even if it was just because Arachne was the only person around, Clara did seem genuine, which was enough to maintain the spider's attention.

"A deathmatch?" Arachne puzzled, not very familiar with that match type at all. "Hold the phone. Arachne knows hardcore stuff exists, but what is a deathmatch again exactly? Like the rules and environment and junk? And who are you protecting this Yuzuha from?" Before giving Chara advise, Arachne needed more context and details about the situation Chara was in.
