NOW, LAW PRESENTS: Slam-A-Thon in the Amazon
Coming August 16th
Coming August 16th
A LAW Supercard themed after its location with fictional license: The Amazon

Let's set the scene:
Your wrestler’s nights start at a tribe's settlement, paying respects to the locals and experiencing culture. All preparations for attires and fixtures for the match are made here, then a summons erupts from the forest in a loud announcement like any other. Your wrestler will leave and march down a dirt path towards the battle grounds. The path is flanked on both sides with thick trees and thrush, a canopy overhead, turning dusk to night, but the path itself is padded down with dirt and arranged rocks. Drums, flukes, rattles, bells play along the path, mimicking the wrestler’s theme. Vines are strawn along the path, bugs and the distant crunch of thrushes, shrubs and terraces. Your wrestler arrives from a treeline that breaks into an open plot of land, a steeped platform about six feet off the ground in the middle, made of stone steps mixed with nature, moss, soil and plants through its cracks, but a modifiable canvas. A small temple stands behind it, mossy-green, a decrepit and stubborn stonework lost to time, ancient and of resilient naturalistic beauty. Torches are placed in spaced out patterns around it, centred around the corners. Surrounding it is your gathered audience, many coming from abroad as part of an experience package, marking some of the most avid LAW fans. Locals, members of your wrestler’s team, friends and family of staff and your assorted fans from across Latin America. Your wrestler will scale the steps at the end of their brief walk, coming to a set of tightly wound vines wrapping around the entire ring, looped around rectangular stone pillars that act as stanchions for the vine. The canvas is up to you, as is the ring itself. A referee awaits, calling for you to take your corner and await your opponent. ONCE both enter the ring, the match shall start.
Are you ready?
TL;DR
- Starts at an Amazonian commune.
- You march into the JUNGLE with vines, local music imitating your wrestler’s theme.
- You march up a stepped platform where the corners are stone pillars and vines are wrapped around to act as ropes. This is not strict. Just pick whatever ring works for you.
- Pick your weather, pick your audience, pick your entrance, pick anything you want to do. Points 1 to 3 are your base, the rest is up to you. Want to remove the temple to the backdrop? Sure! Want to simplify what’s here? Go for it. Want to drop in bleachers of some sort for added audiences? Or make the arriving path clean? Want to change the canvas or insert a traditional ring? Make the whole thing more traditional overall, or more amazon-themed? SURE! Up to you.
Meet the Division:
The Heavyweight Division at the time of this writing has a sum of 887 wrestlers over its history, making it roughly tied to Lightweight’s 888.
