Style: Shiranui-ryuu Ninjutsu mixed with pro wrestling moves. Shiranui-ryuu is a style of Ninjutsu passed down her family for generations, mixing it’s regular technique with graceful dance-like moves. Despite relying on her speed, knows her share of power moves

For holds, prefers going for variety of headscissors, though is able to pull off various limb holds. Characteristics
Physical Appearance: A beautiful brunette with an F Cup chest and a sultry and playful look. Despite the softness her body may convey, she has well-built muscles and visible abs under her attire.
Personality: Sultry and sly woman, who is playful with her opponents and friends alike in and out of the ring. Immensely proud of her wrestling and fighting styles, and won’t take anyone’s criticism of it. Occasionally, can act as a regal, superior, queenly woman, but at other times can easily be an absent-minded airhead outside of whatever situation she is currently in. Despite that, she is a warm and perky person to all her friends.
Past/History: A kunoichi trained by her grandfather, Hanzo Shiranui and his friend, Jubei Yamada, in the ways of Ninjutsu and Koppo-Ken. Despite her grandfather’s wishes to inherit his dojo, Mai wanted something more from her life. With limited reach to the outside world, Mai has found out about the wonderful world of pro wrestling, growing interested in becoming one, much to chagrin and criticism from her grandfather…though once his granddaughter turned 18, he had no choice but to let her go, hoping that eventually she’ll change her mind and inherit his dojo.
Although her skills in Ninjutsu were significant, she required further wrestling training to be clear to enter the ring. With her already present natural talents, Mai was cleared quickly for her debut. With her skills and beautiful looks, she took the Joshi scene by storm, becoming a minor celebrity in Japan through both wrestling and various gravure photoshoots.
Naturally, with good publicity come good offers, with LAW coming with a lucrative contract for Mai. With the number of 0s on the contract, she signed in an instant, reading very little of the contract.

Fun Facts:
- Has had a crush on one of her grandfather’s trainees – Andy Bogard. After leaving to train to be a wrestler, she tracked him down, and despite Andy reciprocating her love, he wasn’t ready to commit to a relationship, which Mai respected
- As she searched more for a soulmate, she realized she is attracted to women just as much as men, especially while wrestling a variety of beautiful opponents.
- One such relationship blossomed into something with a fellow wrestler Chika Igarashi, with whom Mai has gotten along very well. However, Chika was much more international of a wrestler than Mai, and her frequent trips were the thing that finally put the relationship to an end, the kunoichi and the raven knight splitting on respectful, friendly terms. On occasion, they still tagged on the Japanese indie circuit.
- Chika and Mai also happened to be each other’s first smother match opponents during their time as girlfriends. Mai came out victorious in that encounter. ("As if the result would be any different!")
- Uses Pele Kick as a signature move in honor of one of her first rivals – Chun Li. Over the course of a heated rivalry, the two became close friends, though Chun-Li had to retire from wrestling, wishing to pursue a career as a police officer.
