It was all so perfect. Really. Sheila couldn't have painted a better scene if she’d spent years trying.
She made her way up onto the turnbuckle and stood ready, as the official and the crowd and the entire world watched with bated breath. Cameras flashed, cries rang out, and for a shining instant, she felt like some kind of gleaming goddess. She was only seconds away from the biggest win of her career - yeah, it didn’t have much competition, but it was hard to imagine anything topping this.
She waited. She flew. And then…
Then it all went wrong.
There was nothing wrong with Sheila’s execution. Thanks to her match with Elinor, she’d been practicing this particular move far beyond the point of perfection, to a degree that she could do it from almost any angle at any time with only the barest amount of thought. She’d done this particular variation several times, on sparring partners with varying degrees of willingness, so she was fairly confident in her ability to land the move on Nerissa in her current position.
The problem was, though, that this was all contingent on her keeping that position. It had seemed like a safe bet at the time. Nerissa was so winded, battered past the point of resistance. There was no way she could stand on two feet, much less muster enough of herself for an effective counterattack. Right?
Wrong. Painfully, amazing, incredibly wrong.
Sheila learned just how wrong as her opponent rose up at the worst possible moment and caught her on the shoulders, supporting all of her falling weight in a staggering display of fortitude. She was in a bit too much pain to really appreciate it, though, as it felt like she’d just come crashing down on steel bars, and it wasn’t about to get any better. She didn’t know what was about to happen, but she was certain that it would suck.
And yet, the thought didn’t bother her too much. She just sighed, sagged along Nerissa’s shoulders, and ran a lazy hand along her foe’s pristine face as she waited for the plunge.
When it came, it came hard. Sheila was sent careening through the air, hurled high and whipped about, only to be caught before she could fully fall. It all culminated in her smashing against the mat face first, and that was all she could remember before the lights turned off.
When she came to, she was on her back, looking up at the lights. She made a feeble attempt to move, but only managed so quivering trembles. Was she paralyzed? No. Feeling would return to her soon enough. She’d be alright9. Would her condition improve in the next three or seconds, though? Not likely.
Sheila closed her eyes, arched her back, and accepted the inevitable. ”Take me.”

Re: [Humiliation Hardcore Match] Nerissa Labong vs. Sheila Morgan - Wild And Free (Apex Qualifier Match)
At that moment, there was an incredible atmosphere in the arena. Since the lightweight division was going through far from the best of times, each match of the lightweights attracted a lot of attention, because the audience wanted to distract from the matches where the outcome was obvious every time. Of course, there are people who are ready to read a book, knowing how it will end. But most people preferred to enjoy the uncertainty of the finale.
Today was just such a case. Literally from the first seconds of the match, Nerissa and Sheila tried to seize the lead, but each time the swing shifted in the direction of the native American woman, then in the direction of the Wild One. No one wanted to give in to the other. Even a blind man would have noticed the passion between them. But even this did not prevent them from beating each other to such a terrible state that now there was practically no living place on their bodies.
No matter how hard they tried, but every time they found a way to continue this bloody but amazing match. That's what the audience wanted. They didn't want to just wait for the obvious result. They wanted emotions. They wanted real wrestling. And there was no doubt that Nerissa and Sheila wanted the same thing.
Therefore, the whole arena shuddered because of the noise of the audience at the moment when the Echidna caught the Wild One on her shoulders. Everyone was amazed. She was weakened, she was beaten. But willpower helped her overcome the pain. And isn't that the essence of real wrestling? There should always be a winner in a match. And when two strong and stubborn women collide in a fight, it is almost impossible to predict the result. It becomes a matter of willpower.
Gathering her strength, the Echidna seemed to feel that her opponent had relaxed. Sheila could have resisted, but perhaps at that moment she did something that Nerissa did not do. Perhaps at this moment she accepted defeat. And so nothing stopped the Native American woman from throwing the Wild One to the mat with her devastating finisher.
The impact was so great that the moment Sheila collapsed on the mat, the whole ring shook. The blonde's body bounced and turned over. And when Sheila fell on the mat for the second time, she remained lying without signs of movement. Nerissa, gasping for air, lay next to her rival. Despite her success, it seemed to her that her body would stop working at any second. Her energy was practically at zero.
"A... pin..." Nerissa muttered, panting. "Just... a pin..."
Yes, it was the last thing she had to do to get the victory. At least that's what Nerissa thought. Until the moment when she heard the words of her rival. Sheila was still conscious. And although the Australian woman was in no hurry to move, it was a sign that she still had some strength. The Echidna closed her eyes and regret was reflected on her face. If her finisher had knocked Sheila out completely, then everything would have been easier. if her finisher had knocked Sheila out completely, then she wouldn't have had to use something she didn't want to use against her.
"Why'd you have to say that, love?.." Nerissa said softly and there was undisguised regret in her voice.
Gritting her teeth, the Echidna rolled over on her stomach, and then got up on all fours. Now that she knew Sheila still had the strength left, she has to go for one of her cruelest moves. However, there was no turning back now. Victory was in her hands, she just needed to reach to it.
Glancing at Sheila, Nerissa felt a stab right in her heart. She didn't think it would come to this. But if even her devastating finisher didn't take the last drops of strength from the Wild One, then she simply had no other choice. Nerissa grabbed her braid and then bent down to Sheila's head. She intended to wrap the blonde's neck with her braid several times, and then grab the base of the braid with her left hand and the end of the braid with her right hand.
Not feeling any pleasure about this, Nerissa began to get to her feet, at the same time performing the role of the gallows for Sheila. The audience has already seen it, but in a different form. Therefore, they began to increase the noise, realizing what was about to happen. Having lifted the Wild One to her feet, the Echidna intended to turn her around, and then press her back against Sheila's back. Taking a deep breath, Nerissa intended to lean forward, thereby forcing Sheila to lie on her back. It was at that moment that she would put all the remaining strength into her arms in order to pull her braid in different directions and thereby squeeze Sheila's neck. It was her last move. This was her last trap. She has only used it on two occasions, either when she wants to humiliate her opponent, or when her opponent was too strong. Sheila was strong. She remained conscious after the the Echidna's poison. But Nerissa was not going to miss the victory. She's a fighter. And if she has to strangle Sheila to win, she will do it.

Re: [Humiliation Hardcore Match] Nerissa Labong vs. Sheila Morgan - Wild And Free (Apex Qualifier Match)
Just a little longer and it would all be over. Just a few more seconds, and Nerissa would pin her, and they could move on to the aftermath.
In a far corner of her mind, Sheila was more pissed than you would guess from the blissful look on her face. This was her second loss in LAW, and while she had put up her best both times against opponents that would’ve wrecked just about anybody, losses were losses. The WLD wouldn’t show any details on how close she’d come or care how much effort she’d given. She wasn’t setting the world on fire, and it was safe to say that her momentum wasn’t in a good place.
And yet, by and large, she didn’t much care. All she could think about right now was what came next, all the ways that Nerissa was going to wrap her up, the things she’d do to humiliate her, the crazy things she was about to go through, what tortures were about to come out of this woman’s devious little mind. She had just gone through a world of pain and she was giddy with the anticipation of so much more.
Yeah. Maybe she was a little crazy.
Speaking of that, though, where was the pin? She was ripe for it, there was no way that it wouldn’t work. For a second, Sheila feared that her opponent had seriously hurt herself with that last ditch effort, maybe pull something serious or accidentally knocked herself out.
She learned that was certainly not the case, though, when Nerissa seized her head and started to wrap a rope around neck. She was confused for a moment, trying to figure out where she’d gotten it from on top of a few other things, when it all clicked at once - this wasn’t a rope. Nerissa was using her insanely long hair as a living noose.
”What are you…what…” Sheila’s questions were cut in half as the woman started to stand them both up and put them both back to back, hoisting her up like a piece of prized meat. The two of them were tauntingly close in height, which meant that, as Nerissa bent forward, Sheila was just tall enough to touch the floor with the tip of her foot as she dangled, so close to relief, but too far for it to matter one bit.
Her hands came up, feebly grasping at the makeshift garrote, pulling at it like she could rip the strands free, but they were too strong all bunched up like that, resisting her every effort. She might as well have been trying to pull apart steel wires.
Slowly, surely, her struggles grew weaker and weaker as her face changed colors and her eyes rolled back into her head. Thrashes turned to spasms turned to twitches as the energy fled her body, and the last thing she could recall was the referee lifting her hand and dropping it before she become so very, very…
Still.

Re: [Humiliation Hardcore Match] Nerissa Labong vs. Sheila Morgan - Wild And Free (Apex Qualifier Match)
Was it so necessary? Someone probably would have said that a pin would be more than enough to end the match. Maybe, or maybe not. Nerissa only knew one thing. If she went for a pin and by some miracle the blonde would break out, then she would simply not be able to find the strength for another attack. Therefore, the native American woman decided to act for sure.
Placing the Wild One on her back, Nerissa began to strangle her with the braid. Instantly, the blonde began to twitch convulsively from side to side, which made the Echidna hiss. Nerissa could barely stand on her feet and her strength was barely enough to keep her grip tight. It was her last move, so she closed her eyes, concentrating on finishing what she had started.
And then she felt the resistance disappear. After another convulsion, Sheila's body went limp. However, even this was not the end. Nerissa straightened up, slightly easing the pressure on the blonde's neck. She didn't want the consequences to be too heavy for Sheila, because this woman was dear to her in a way. Turning her head, the Echidna looked at the referee, who raised the Wild One's hand, and then let it go. As expected, Sheila's hand fell down like a rag.
"ONE!" said the referee and the audience echoed the first count around the arena.
Nerissa's arms began to shake. Not because she felt victory approaching, but because her body had begun the process of shutting down. Even though she barely strained her muscles at that moment, she felt constant pain. The Wild One dragged her through one of the toughest matches of if not her whole life, then at least her LAW career. And although Nerissa was far from religion, now she was ready to pray to anyone in the hope that Sheila would not be able to once again find the hidden forces to turn the tables.
"TWO!!" the hand of the Australian woman fell for the second time, accompanied by the screams of the audience.
Nerissa held her breath. Considering everything that had happened in this match, she couldn't be sure that this was really the end. Sheila has proved more than once how high her fortitude is. Of course, it was impossible to say that Nerissa knew the blonde too well, because in fact it was only their second meeting. However, it was more than enough for her to understand that this woman is capable of a lot. The last second. The last moment. The referee raised Sheila's hand. And then that hand fell for the third time.
"THREE!!!"
Ding-Ding-Ding.
Although the ringing of the bell was barely audible because of the noise that filled the arena. Shouts and applause could have been heard even on the farthest outskirts of Tokyo. It's over. Realizing this, the Echidna finally exhaled. She relaxed her arms and let go of her braid. The braid slid over Sheila's neck, and then, since there was nothing to support the blonde now, she fell to the mat. However, she was not the only one.
Nerissa received relief due to the end of the match, but along with this, almost all the adrenaline left her body. Fatigue washed over her like a tsunami. The Native American woman staggered, and then, unable to stand on her feet, sank on her ass. Is it really over?
The Echidna turned her head to the side and looked at the Wild One. The Australian woman was covered in blood and sweat. But even so, she looked beautiful. She gave Nerissa a match that the Native American woman couldn't even dream of. When they were fighting, the Echidna had the impression that she was fighting with herself. Sheila was no less strong. If events had turned out at least a little differently, then Nerissa herself would be in the blonde's place now. The Echidna won. But it was not an easy victory.
The referee came up to her. Exactly. Another pleasant moment. Nerissa nodded. The Striped shirt took the hand of the Native American woman and rised it, officially declaring her the winner. A smile appeared on Nerissa's face. They say that a victory is a victory, regardless of anything. But she believed in something else. She believed that a victory could only matter when it came to the match she and Sheila had been through. Nerissa put her another hand on her rival's cheek.
Leaning down, she gave Sheila a short kiss. It burned Nerissa's torn lips, but for her it was a pleasant pain. This match was filled with passion. And such passion is not born out of emptiness. No. Nerissa has never had attachments. Attachments make you think about tomorrow. She didn't want to do that. But after she and Sheila beat each other half to death, she had a feeling in her heart that now she would have to start thinking about tomorrow. Why? Because she wanted Sheila in her tomorrow.
