With newfound skills came newfound confidence, and Juri finally mustered the courage to stand up to the bully. This earned her a punch in the eye and knocked her down, but to the bully’s surprise, Juri got back up and fought back…hard. She quickly subdued the bully with a single kick. Then she kicked her again. And again. And again.
By the time the teacher managed to intervene, Juri’s bully was a bloody, weeping mess on the floor, and Juri was looking over her with a look of serene ecstasy, as if something had finally clicked.
