There had been a time when Mina had been an up and coming prospect in the pro scene. A time when she'd competed as one of the best in the junior division. A time before her parents demands that she go to University. And then graduate school. And then medical school. Emerging from medical school at the age of 28, she was convinced that those days were behind her. No longer did she have the fit body of a young athlete. The slim, corded muscle had gone, replaced by the curves of a woman with more of a focus on studies than grueling athletics. However, despite this, Mina could never truly rid herself of her love for Joshi.
Shortly after graduating, Mina took up a position as the head of psychological studies at a lesser known Japanese university. A private practice had always been an ambition, but it hardly paid the bills. It was during this time that Joshi came back into Mina's life. Encouraged by a number of students who'd taken an interest in her past matches, Mina started the University Amatuer Joshi Club. Here, she trained and supervised student athletes and house shows. With LAW being the preeminent promotion and all of the participants being new adults, it took on LAW's ruleset. This was also where thusfar unwed Dr. Takemi learned to love women. However, if you asked her, she'd tell you "Sometimes a bear-hug is just a bear-hug".
It was during her tenure at the university and the AJC that Mina met Kelsea. A sweet young thing with the confidence of a ramen noodle. Mina saw a lot of herself in Kelsea's doubt. Kelsea's belief that there was no way she could compete with such beautiful, skilled women. It was the same way Mina felt as an older woman. Mina helped Kelsea to develop her alter-ego, Rose Gold, to conquer her ridiculous fears. She hadn't known at the time she'd created a monster... But she did love how that monster kissed.
Once Kelsea graduated, her first move had been to join LAW. Having seen Rose Gold's debut match, Dr. Takemi felt inspired. She had been in fit-fighting shape for some time in order to keep up with the younger women at the club she supervised. She had been training them, but also with them for over a decade. If she was ever going to live her dream of being a pro-wrestling super star... It was going to be now! Look out LAW! The doctor is in!
Personality
Mina is first and foremost motherly. A caring, nurturing soul who has a genuine interest in what makes people tick. She is always examining those around, through force of habit, to see beyond the facade of their presentation. She has an uncanny tendency to see directly into someone's heart and is quite good at her field of study. For better, or worse.
In the ring this talent enables Mina to notice when her opponents are shaken. To precisely locate their weaknesses or cracks in their psychological health. A cerebral submission machine, if you will. She no longer has the fast muscle twitch capabilities of a virile young woman and instead relies on precise game plans. She also has a thing for younger women. It definitely had nothing to do with her opening a club for scantily clad grapplers. Definitely.

Mina is large for a middleweight. About as big as they come. Buxom, curvy, and powerful. Mina focuses heavily on the power game. Her strikes tend to carry her full weight with them. She is by no means a technical maestro, like her protege. She leans heavily on her strength to escape from holds and sticky situations. Lucky for her, it comes in great helpings. Her submission maneuvers are always more overpowering strength than joint manipulation. Techniques like bear hugs and torture racks exemplify her style perfect. As well as spiking drivers and powerbombs. Mina enjoys overpowering her opponents as it invalidates her fears that she is too old for this sort of thing. She is lech and some of her tendencies and techniques are directly responsible for Rose Gold's sensual style.

Strength: 5/5 - They don't come much stronger. Especially in middleweight.
Endurance: 4.5/5 - You gotta have endurance to keep up with those young girls. However, Dr. Takemi does have a tendency to put a lot of her gas tank into her moves, making her endurance somewhat deceptive!
Technique: 2/5 - She knows what part of the head to drop her opponents on. All of it.
Speed: 2.5/5 - She was once a high-flier. Now, she's just quick enough to pluck them out of the sky.
Defense: 3.5/5 - Dr. Takemi has something to prove. As such, she won't quit early!
Intelligence 5/5 Dr. Takemi is a ring psychologist. She is clever and always working towards locating a foe's weakness. Be that a past injury, or more often in LAW, a crippling kink.
Wrestling Stats
Strikes: 3/5 - Sufficient at strikes. She is far from a martial artist. However, those that hit, hit hard!
Submissions: 3/5 - Her knowledge of submissions is observational at best. She can't replicate complicated holds but has more than enough know how to stretch her opponents. Her exceptional strength allows her to get her opponents in unique submission situations.
Power: 5/5 - This is where Dr. Takemi excels. Once her opponents are in her grasp she is able to do some truly devastating things to their body. Powerslams, Powerbombs, Power-anything. The feeling of the mat quaking under her feet after an opponent is driven through it is what Dr. Takemi lives for!
Aerial: 1/5 - Oh my. This is a disaster waiting to happen.
Counters: 2/5 - Hardly quick enough to counter much of anything. Dr. Takemi can take a lick and keep on ticking. Her counters often come as a result of an opponent underestimating just how strong she truly is.
