So. I gotsa a idea.

Essentially, I'm hoping to run a special event. As the name suggests, one that's both an outright fight, and one that's all over Tokyo. Essentially, I'll explain it through the rules.

Whoever is fighting would meet at a pre-determined location. There's no maximum for what I'm hoping for, although I'm hoping for at least a minimum of four. When everyone is together, The Match Begins. The whole of Tokyo is the arena, and pedestrians are the referees.

The goal is simple. To collect as many pinfalls or submissions as possible. After 24 hours have passed (something I'll judge hopefully by thread quantity, maybe even with update threads on what stage of the day the event is at) all the fighters will meet back at the same location, and tally up their points. These points would be rectified by both fans who have seen the pin/tap out occur, or actual referees dotted all around Tokyo. As you can imagine, the one with the most points wins.

The goal is to be creative as possible. Maybe two wrestlers scuffle for a point in a restaurant, or in the middle of a shop, or right onto a TV set. More than two wrestlers could even be involved, with a possible mass number all scuffling together at one location to try and come out on-top.

The event would be set-up as regular matches between whoever is having their characters encounter one another. So let's say one of my girls and one of winners participates. We agree that they start fighting immediately after leaving the location, so would just set-up a single match thread and play it accordingly.

The rules so far I have for it, are-
-Once your girl has been pinned, they are given a rest of ten minutes where they cannot be pinned or submitted. This doesn't have to be written, it can just be used as reasoning for the girl being a little fresher in an encounter straight after.
-The result of a fight must be seen by a non-participant. This means no private fights; the winner must be clearly seen.
-Once a fighter has gained a point from another, those two must then encounter another before fighting again. So if girl A and B fought, regardless of winner, they cannot fight again until either one has fought girl C. This would be to stop the winner of a fight 'stalking' the girl she has just beaten, waiting for the ten minutes to fight.
-No dangerous locations. Middle of busy roads, hospitals, etcetc.

So, hopefully it comes off as interesting. I'm aware of the time scale of something like this, with the emphasis being both on creativity of the threads, and getting people who have perhaps not threaded together coming together to have their girls fight in the middle of a launderette or something.

I endorse this idea would advocate for holding the competition in the special events section. If it gets big enough and is well executed, I'd consider having the girls who place highest fight for the right to be inaugural 24/7 / Hardcore / LAWLESS champ.

SO-Update. I still have no idea when I'm going to run this. Preferably when the three ongoing tournaments are coming to an end/outright done. Thought I'd lay out my ideas for HOW it's gonna run though, so I can get feedback-

The Event Itself

Described as above. A pinfall/submission only city-wide brawl. Will start at 8am on a Saturday, ending 24 hours later. The brawl continues through the night. Fighters will be paged/text messaged upon the midway point.

Rules

1. A pinned/submitted fighter has a ten minute rest period.
2. Fights must have an impartial witness.
3. Once a fighter has gained a point from another, those two must then encounter another before fighting again. So if girl A and B fought, regardless of winner, they cannot fight again until either one has beaten/lost to another.
4. No dangerous locations. Middle of busy roads, hospitals, etcetc.
5. Pinning an unconscious or sleeping opponent does not count as a point. (KO itself is not a point either).

Allowed

• Weapons (Blunt only).
• Teaming up. (Points however only go to the singular pinfall applicant. Double applications of submissions e.g one holding a armbar, one holding a boston crab, does not count).
• Use of locks - Hiding in your home, or hiding in general.
• Dirty Tactics.

Signing Up

As with any event, simply write your interest down (some already have, tyvm!) and the character you want to join. One character per player.

However, given the way this event works, if at first your not interested, but part way through the 'day'/event itself you change your mind, there is nothing stopping you from having your character sign up, and then join in progress. Given the timing, it can obviously be significantly difficult to win.

Participating

Simply make a match thread in the right section (likely 'other areas') with the starting prefix of [TB], and continue as you would a normal thread! Remembering to take note of who won, of course.

The only thing that needs to be taken into consideration is the time of the match in regards to the event. (And if you want, already inflicted damage).

Misc.

Well, obviously I'm hoping this event gets great interest, but I'm also hoping people go crazy with the fight locations and what happens. I'm talking people being suplexed in the middle of a restaurant, or a fight spilling out into a furniture store and someone being pillow-smothered to submission on a nice new bed.

I myself will likely be having an open thread halfway through, for maximum carnage.
