The Thunder Girls vs The SWAT Cats II

Tracy was rattled. She was down but not out. The red head looked up, her eyes hazy as she tried to collect herself after the Samoan Drop. Before she could tell left from right, the Amazon yanked her up from the mat and lifted her up before bringing her closer to the center of the ring! When Alaina started running, everyone knew what was coming. Kat called out to her partner, and the stadium began to "oooohhh" in anticipation.

The Circus Cat dug down deep. Even though that Samoan Drop threw Canon for a loop, she'd begin to kick furiously and try to wriggle free and land behind Alaina before the taller, stronger middleweight could commit to the slam and throw her overhead. If Tracy's escape was successful, she'd land on her feet and widen her stance. The luchadora would measure her foe and aim a swift kick at Alaina's midsection as she turned around! If the kick connected and forced the Amazon to double over, Tracy would place a hand between Alaina's thighs before summoning everything she had to lift the Thundergirl into a quick, sloppily executed Powerslam of her own! It would take everything Tracy had left. She'd lie on the canvas next to Alaina after hitting the move, but she'd smile through her deep breaths and say to her foe: "How's that....for shutting up...Miss...Thunder Thighs...?"

Alaina felt Tracy drop behind her and glared, turning around right into Tracy's kick! Alaina groaned as she was doubled over, and shaking her head in shock as she was lift off the ground! "AHHHHHHH!" She cried out as she was slammed hard to the mat, the sound echoing as the ring ropes continued to shake. Alaina kicked the mat in pain and could only moan in agony in repsonse to Tracy's taunt. The woman managed to use power moves on a power wrestler to seize control of the momentum!

Tracy, ever the showman, was able to taunt Alaina after hitting her powerslam, but as she tried to get up, it was evident that that's all she was able to do. After pulling herself to up all fours, the pink and white clad wrestler fell back down to a prone position whilst breathing heavily. Lifting the bigger, stronger woman was quite the feat for a high flying middleweight like Tracy, especially after having taken a hard slam, herself. The red head was left winded for the time-being, unable to mount any immediate offense while the amazon was down. Kat would yell to her from her corner. Tracy needed a tag, and fast!

"Tracy! Tag out!" The purple clad heavyweight would yell as she leaned over the ropes!

Alaina looked over at Tracy and tried to struggle up to her feet, making shaky progress very slowly. The amazon couldn't let that little circus cat out-slam her. Not by a longshot! Alaina tried to take a few more deep breaths before rising to her feet. She knew Tracy was going to be getting up right when she did so Alaina wasn't going to waste time setting up for anything.

The amazon was going to make her way to Tracy, and grab hold intent on scooping her up and slamming her down harder than Tracy had just managed to slam her!

Tracy tried once more to rise, and as she did, she'd run towards Alaina! But once again, the amazon was ready for her! The brunette Thundergirl would lift the high flying feline from the canvas and plant her with a Scoop Slam! The impact of the slam would echo out. It was clear that Alaina threw Tracy down with more authority than Tracy had slammed her!

The redhead would lay on the mat sprawled out. She turned her head left and right, trying to find her bearings and stay in this, despite the fact that Alaina was giving her way more than she could handle right now!

Alaina looked over at Tina, motioning for her to climb up top. She did so as Alaina lift Tracy up, placing her head between her legs. As Alaina lift Tracy up for an amabomb, Tina jumped off the top hitting her with a missile dropkick as she jumped from the top!

Alaina used the added impact for more force to her amabomb, planting Tracy to the mat and pinning her!

Tina upon landing got up and ran towards Kat, jumping up and again aiming a dropkick r igbt at Kats chest to knock her off the apron as Alaina went for the pin!

Tracy seemed to be barely clinging on. When Tina began to climb to the top turnbuckle, Katherine new what was coming. But the by the she had tried to enter the ring and intervene, the Tigress had gone from being perched and poised to dish out some damage, to soaring with bad intentions in mind for Tracy!

Alaina nearly effortlessly flipped The Circus Cat onto her shoulder. The amazonian duo initiated their moves simultaneously with a Doomsday Device variation that left Tracy pinned down to the mat with a Matchbook Cover! The stadium roared as the duo hit their combination move, and Katherine ducked under the top rope to enter the ring and make the save! The referee had already begun counting!

"ONE!!"

But Tina was wise to Kat's next move! The young upstarted got up as soon as she landed! The purple clad heavyweight tried to hustle and escape her team's corner, but before Kat could make it even two paces in, Armstrong nailed her in the chest with a running dropkick!

"TWO...!!!"

Upon taking the brunt of the kick, Kat would be forced back into her corner back first! She'd sink to the mat and into a seated position. The blue eyed blonde would clench her teeth and look up in disappointment, mostly with herself for not being able to save Tracy when Tracy needed her most! Canon would lie there still, with her eyes shut, completely motionless as Alaina bore the brunt of her weight over her and and kept the red head folded up to seal the deal!

Alaina jumped up holding her hands high as Tina ran over, practically jumping into her arms int he middle of the ring! It was just a match, but for the Thundergirls it was a step towards tag team redemption. They had gotten off to such a miserable start that they were looked at like a jobber team despite their success solo. Despite their team chemistry. Despite them being so good on paper.

Now they were slowly translating it to success in the ring and it felt good. Alaina and Tina stood in the middle of the ring, waiting for Kat and Tracy to get up. They didn't want to rub it in, and Alaina was going to make sure Tina didn't shoot her mouth off to Tracy and start a fight between them all over again.

On the same token, Alaina also wanted to clear the air with Kat a bit. Tina would be the one in turn making sure Alaina's emotions and pride didn't end up getting the best of her.

The three count was called and the bell rang out loud! The Thundergirls began celebrating immediately! And rightfully so! The SWAT Cats had remained undefeated in tag matches thus far. The fact that Alaina and Tina went the distance with them and avenged their painful loss from not long ago drove home the fact that Sanders and Armstrong had what it took to become a premiere LAW tag team.

Katherine would have risen out of the corner at this point. She was a little fatigued, but other wise alright. She'd walk over to her downed partner and give Tracy a hand to help her up before stepping closer towards the victorious team. Kat would smile at them and spread her arms wide to place one hand on Alaina's shoulder and one hand on Tina's.

"You guys were on fire, today! You keep that up and the two of us might never make short work of you again, haha." She'd say in a satisfied tone. Katherine had always made an honest effort to ensure that she wouldn't find herself on the losing end whenever she competed, same as any woman. But defeat was inevitable, and when presented with an loss, fair and square, she took it in stride. Kat would extend a hand to the Thundergirls one after another, attempting to bury the hatchet on whatever ill will there might have been.

"Keep it up, Alaina. You, too, Tina!" The blonde would say once more before looking back at a pouting Tracy. Tracy didn't like it. Not one bit, but her team lost tonight, and she was going to have to accept that. Kat would motion to her to come over before her partner stepped in and bowed to the other team.

"I got a little carried away last time. I'm sorry Alaina. And Tina, too. I promised Kat that I'd apologize if we lost tonight. I used to think we were leaps and bounds ahead of you guys, but now I'm starting to realize that I've got a lot to learn if Kat and I are gonna be the best tag champs LAW's ever seen." The pink and white clad cat girl would rise and try to shake the other team's hand as well while finishing her thought.

I won't get ahead of myself next time! So please wrestle us again, soon, ok?"

Next time either of us manages to beat either of you, we want you to be in top form. It'll mean more that way. Kat would say as their last parting words before the two made their way for the back while the Thundergirls celebrated their big win.

Alaina and Tina saw them coming and Alaina shook both their hands enthusiastically. Tina did so with Kat, but more reluctantly with Tracy given the fact that Tina didn't like Tracy's spunk and trash talk... traits Alaina previously pointed out were also present in Tina.

"Thanks guys. I know how I can be after losses. Even in my old age I have my stubborn pride and demand for perfection and I let that get away from me sometimes. You guys really are a great team and we will see each other again in these ropes, solo or tag." Alaina said with a smile. "I look forward to it too."

Tina grinned a bit and nodded to the women. "You aren't bad at all. I'd love to tangle with ya again. The sooner the better as far as I am concerned." Tina added and smiled. She took Tracy's hand and Alaina took kats, each member of the Thundergirls elevating their opponent and clapping. Before long they decided to leave the ring and head back to the locker room, both feeling very fulfilled and uplifted over their victory. They were showing that they could operate as a well oiled machine and the Thundergirls were no longer tag team pushovers.
