Thunder Ryuko and Emily Nelson vs. SA-KI and Zero Kotobuki - Stand Tall

There was the two. Just one more count, just one more and-

She kicked out. ”Fuck!”

SA-KI belligerent curse could be heard in the highest stands as Ryuko kicked out, dragging out her inevitable demise. Stubborn as ever, it seemed - SA-KI always hated these heroic type. They just never knew when they were fucking done.

Zero stood up and was about to go on the attack once more, when SA-KI stuck her arm out. ”Hey! Silent Treatment!” She waved her way, getting her attention. ”Let me back in!”

Zero seemed hesitant at first, back after a quick glance Maria’s way, she shrugged, made her way over, and tagged out with SA-KI, who promptly stormed into the ring and gave Ryuko a stiff kick in the side. ”What’s wrong, ‘Thunder’? A little rusty? Can’t get back into the swing of things?”

As much as Ryuko wanted to pummel and smash these women she knew a bad situation when she saw it. Even her stubborn pride was pushed aside, she needed to tag Emily back in as she was just getting rag dolled. However she had to create an opening. As she started to get up SA-KI hammered her side sending her rolling with Ryuko stopping on her stomach. She shook her head and pushed herself to her hands and knees. She was hurting, and she needed help, but she was on her own at the moment. She had to be smart and catch them making a mistake.

SA-KI was of half a mind to just try and end this now. Not just to get the win, but to reduce the chances of this all going tits up at the last second. While she was in the driver’s seat now, she knew better than most how fast things could change if you let your foot off the gas for too long.

But, on the other hand, she was having a lot of fun beating the shit out of Ryuko. So if she could stretch this out a little longer, well…

She had to at least get a good powerbomb in. Not wasting time, she reach ed over, seized her foe’s head, and pulled it in between her legs, getting the crowd riled up as she took the familiar position. With a wild smirk, she reached over, grasped her foe around the waist, and proceeded to hoist her up on her shoulder, holding her up high as she marched forward and prepared to launch her into the corner for a nasty Buckle Bomb.

Ryuko was still in pain trying to figure out how to get Emily back in and in some sort of advantageous position. Much harder said than done. Then it happened. SA-KI gave her just the chance she needed but Ryuko had to act quick. While Ryuko was hurting she was still mentally aware. Her ring smarts were intact even if her body was wrecked.

As Ryuko went up onto SA-KI's shoulders she clamped her legs together around SA-KI's head and leaned back with all she had looking to send her opponent crashing to the corner with a hurricanrana! Ryuko put all she had into whipping SA-KI into that corner as hard as she could, gritting her teeth to struggle up afterward. "Never count out the thunder empress." Ryuko hissed. She was still in pain and didn't want to be a dead-weight slug for Emily even though she needed the tag. To keep SA-KI there Ryuko sent a hard, fast thrust of her heel right to the face of SA-KI before hobbling toward Emily feeling her legs wobble. Ryuko fell forward, reaching out and hoping her extended hand could reach Emily for the hot tag!

And just like that, it all went to shit.

SA-KI was certain that this would be enough to end things - she was no Beauty Ichigaya, but her powerbombs got the job done most of the time, and the Buckle Bomb was a particularly nasty variation, one that she hoped would get the job done. She’d been moving forward, when her world was suddenly turned upside down, as Ryuko pulled a hurricanrana clean out of her ass and sent her tumbling towards the corner.

Grunting and groaning, she pushed her way up, only to find herself eating Ryuko’s boot to the face, a stiff strike that laid her out again and left the door wide open for her to make a tag - a door that Zero was looking to close.

The Massacre Ordinance leaped over the ropes and dashed across the ring, trying to cut Ryuko off before she could reach her partner, but Ryuko was already close - knowing she wasn’t going to make it, she turned her attention to Emily, leaped up, and tried to nail the Scotswoman with a flying roundhouse, hoping to take her out before she could even come in the ring.

Emily heart nearly leapt out of her chest when SA-KI hoisted Ryuko up in what looked like it was going to be a match-ending Buckle Bomb. Her heart leapt further, though, when Ryuko caught SA-KI between her legs, and managed to flip the masked wrestler head over heels in a devastating hurricanrana! The crowd was cheering at that point, and Emily among them, extending her hand through the ropes for the Dragon Empress to make the tag. "That's it, come on Ryuko! Tag me! Come on!"

With a surge of movement, Ryuko managed to crawl forward enough to slap Emily's hand, making the tag. Without a moment's hesitation, Emily leapt into the ring--

--right into the path of the hurtling Zero Kotobuki. Emily very nearly said something unladylike before she caught the brunt of Zero's roundhouse kick, the greenette's boot cracking across her chin and sending the taller Scotswoman sprawling into the ropes, catching herself to prevent a fall. "Unnnghh..."

Bad news: Ryuko made the tag.

Good news: Zero kicked Emily in the face. Also, funny as hell.

Bad news: SA-KI wasn’t able to do much about it.

She was a little too busy dealing what the taste of Ryuko’s boot in her mouth, and by the time she’d gotten her shit together, Zero was already being ushered back to her corner by an irritated referee. That left her to take on the Scotswoman for the time being.

Fuck it, she could hang. ”You want to go again, bitch? Fine.” SA-KI pushed up and rushed forward, swinging out with a wild punch at Emily’s face. She was too discombobulated for anything serious at the moment, but she was more than happy to get into a brawl with the ‘Noble Fighter’.

Emily rotated her lower jaw, which felt slightly numb after that stunning kick from Zero. Miraculously, nothing was broken, though she was currently tangled in the ropes. And Zero was now retreating, allowing SA-KI to come at her in turn, looking ready for violence.

SA-KI's fist came whistling in, snapping Emily's head to the side as one of her arms came loose from the ropes. She let out a loud gasp from the impact, and a growl of irritation. She had had just about enough of this masked harlot.

"That," she growled, "is Queen Bitch to ye, lavvy-heid!" Her Scottish coarseness came to the fore as got angrier, before she lashed out with a right hook, eager to return the favour to SA-KI and sock her across the jaw!

Pfft. SA-KI still remembered how people used to talk about Emily, always acting like she was one of the toughest women on the roster, like she was some crazy Scottish badass. She never saw it. Just another loud-mouth from Europe, writing checks she couldn't cash. She’d put down plenty of bitches like that in her today, and this noble bitch would be another notch on the belt. ”Come on!”

She landed a solid blow, satisfying as hell, and was about to pull back for another one when Emily returned fire, tearing through the air with a hellacious hook. It caught SA-KI flush on the chin and sent her spinning, ending up with her back against the ropes, stunned.

…also, what the hell was a ‘lavvy-heid’? She swore, the bitch made these words up on the fly.

Emily's counter attack had hit with devastating effect, rocking SA-KI backwards and sending the woman staggering back into the ropes. Breathing hard, Emily stood up to her full height. Now, she thought decisively, it was payback time for poor Ryuko.

"Where are ye going, ye daft bint?" she growled, striding after SA-KI and grabbing her by the head, before yanking her out of the corner. "Ye wanted this, remember? Ye come fer a square go wi' a proper wrestler, ye' gon get one, ya sleekit lassie!"

So saying-- and not caring if SA-KI understood her or not-- Emily would lean down, grabbing the back of the Japanese woman's masked head with one hand and the back of her thigh with another, before hoisting her up onto her shoulders, spinning around, and dropping, releasing SA-KI at that moment to fling her down frontally against the mat!
