When she dropkicked him, Spectre stayed on the ground for longer than she liked to. It was like her sweaty body felt glued to the space. The warmth, grossness of a wrestling mat, a bed nonetheless. She needed to build up to standing. First, turn over onto her gut, then drag her knees, then her hands and push up. She placed a foot down, applied both hands on her knee, then pushed up with wind locked in her cheeks. Her legs shook, but she got it. Then she forced them to run. Faster and faster, hoping to ram her shoulder into his lower spine!

Oscar painted the turnbuckle with his sweat as he held himself up against it- but hearing Spectre running towards him gave the Barbarian Prince an idea. Sucking in his breath and tightly gripping the ropes- Oscar glanced behind him and raised his leg. When Spectre got close enough, he would attempt to counter her move by shooting his leg out to try and land a mule kick into her battered and bruised stomach!

His boot plunged into her from hips to ribs. Her fucking midsection morphed into a stepped on piece of mud with the latex practically squashed into ribbons. “BWAGH--” And underneath was an exhausted, strained, pale tattooed gut. Visible bruising of red and faint purple was beat into it, now sure to grow.

Spectre snapped back like a released elastic band. Her body folded in two, flew a few feet, crashed on her upper-shoulders, backrolled and then unrolled onto the canvas, face-up. Her legs and arms were spread out.

Her eyes looked up. The sockets were all white. She felt hot, tingling with misery, shivering with one leg and her midsection made a singular convulsion. Inside the mask, she was hardly holding it together from screaming. Her teeth were bared so hard there was foam between them. Spittle was coming out the corners.

But she was hardly conscious of that. Or much of anything. For her, the world flashed to black and sensory overload when he kicked. It left her buzzing, the feeling of being chained to the ground. Tired. Way more tired. Like her body couldn’t pull much further.

And the crowd cheered for it yet again.

Oscar's counter worked like a charm as Spectre crumpled to the canvas from the force of the muel kick- the impact folding her up like a lawn chair at the end of a summer day. Oscar was sure he could pin Spectre in the state she was in... but... the cheers of the crowd occupied Oscar's thoughts as they called for payback. Called for punishment and comeuppance for Spectre's actions. Oscar usually didn't like dragging things on longer than he had to... but be it due to his exhausted state affecting his thoughts or wanting to fulfill the crowd's dream, Oscar would manage to find it in him to push out of the corner and approach Spectre.

Grabbing Spectre by the wrist, Oscar dragged Spectre across the canvas and yanked her up against the turnbuckle- having the perfect move in mind as he hoisted the exhausted heel into a sitting position on top of the ring post and climbed up a few rungs to wrap his arm around the back of her head. With Oscar's legs secured on the ropes and the cheers of the crowd growing louder by the second, Oscar attempted to perform a spider suplex off the ropes and spike Spectre into the canvas! That is... unless Spectre fought back...

Spectre left behind a trail of sweat. Still foggy with a periodic twitch.

When she was hoisted up onto her feet again, it nearly didn’t work. Her knees came together and her pale thighs slapped into one. She leaned against him, her arms slack. Then when she was hoisted up, Spectre was a mere feather and sat on the top turnbuckle pads. Her legs kicked idly, shoulders slouched, arms hanging. Her head circled in like this unfocused wobble, that she lacked any sense of stability and tweety birds flew around her head.

She flew as ordered. Spiked on her shoulders. “BLEGGHHH!!”

The air drove out and Spectre couldn’t suck it back in. She ended up bouncing at least a foot off the canvas before she landed again in a wet smack of sweat. Her arms and legs were spread eagle on the mat, centre of the ring. She had a dumb-looking two-thirds unconscious face about her, where one eye was twitching and the other peered up.

A short circuit, if you will. Her systems starting to overheat…

The crowd saw it. Drank it in. Then they cheered again, louder! Sensing what Oscar was putting down, many started to stand to finally see the inevitable. Their hopes and spirits rose in the moment, with some smiling until their cheeks hurt.

“Os-car!” “Os-car!” “Os-car!”
“Os-car!” “Os-car!” “Os-car!”

And a thump of their feet added a beat to it.

Oscar lay on his back for a moment after nailing the spider suplex- the support of the audience flooding into his ears as he started to feel more rejuvenated. Getting back onto his feet and feeling the hype from the crowd, Oscar dragged himself to the top rope and turned to face Spectre. With a cry of pure determination and adrenaline, Oscar lept from the turnbuckle- launching himself through the air as he attempted to hit Spectre with a giant splash!

And in that moment, with thousands of awestruck eyes looking on, and the many more thousands at home, alongside commentators and front-rowers, they bared witness to the Barbarian's flight! And when that shadow grew on the downed virus, they saw nothing but hope. Evil well and truly defeated tonight. With her eyelids glitching open to catch the descending mass zone in on her tiny body, her cheek pulled up into something vile that wanted to curse, growl and bite. It was a flash moment and a quick decision next up. The decision to turn over onto her belly, letting Oscar crash into nothing but unforgiving canvas.

All it took was one quick roll from Spectre to shatter everyone's hopes as Oscar crashed onto the empty canvas. The impact shook the ring as Oscar let out a howl of pain and was left sprawled out on the canvas- only occasionally moving his arms and legs to show he was still conscious. The Barbarian Prince appeared to be in a LOT of pain at the moment- after all, the bigger they are, the harder they fall... someone as large as Oscar was always going to suffer the hardest when an aerial move like that was botched. The crowd screamed at Oscar to get up, but support from the fans could only get someone so far. Oscar was spent- and unfortunately at the mercy of Spectre...

The ring's shake sent Spectre off the mat on Oscar's crash a few inches, then splatted again. She first came off the ground using her hands, pushing her torso up, then rallying to her hands and knees. She folded over, wiped her sweat-drenched eyes with her hands, then rose. Her beaten gut strained. She wanted to curl into a ball with the sudden tightness. The cool air made it burn. She felt sore to her bones. But she got up, slowly, hand on her tummy. It was like someone put weights onto her shins and elbows. Nothing much wanted to move very far, but she managed to stand over him.

A thumb dragged across her throat, signaling to audiences the oncoming peril. They boo'ed.

She bent over, grabbed his hair and pulled on him. A loud grunt came from stressed lips. She gave it a hundred and twenty percent. Her limbs shook and rattled to hopefully make him rise to one knee, but hunched over. On the side with the planted boot, she shadowed the inside of his leg with her boot. Then she leaned on-top of him, under his arm, over his back, reaching for an arm. When she hopped up, her second leg came up and hooked his nape. She pulled the arm back, hooked her first leg behind his thigh then wreeeecnhed.

While the unease had built ever since Spectre signaled, their nervousness was finally answered. They gasped, worried and now frowned... As Spectre had locked in:

Oscar found himself in another perilous position as Spectre peeled him off the canvas and locked in the buffer overflow- his arm wrenched behind his back as her legs squeezed his neck like a vice. The Barbarian Prince was asked by the ref if he wanted to submit- but despite his body trembling in pain, Oscar managed to whimper out a "no". Oscar's eyes shut tight as Spectre continued to restrict his breathing- managing to press his free palm on the canvas and slowly pushing himself upwards. Possibly an attempt to keep mobile- but his arm shook like a leaf while doing so. Oscar still refused to give in- showing the heart that made him a crowd favorite as he did everything in his power to try and drag himself to the ropes!
