Wyvern (D) vs. Alizeh Mirdori

As Wyvern's head collided with Alizeh's, she didn't even wince in response to the new flood of pain and shower of stars. Unpleasant or not, this was something she was well trained to deal with, and it was far easier for her to avoid injury when she was in control. Control that she had managed to secure, if only just, by taking her opponent off-guard with the unexpected strike. Continuing to use her head as a weapon this late in the match and after all of the previous abuse was sheer insanity, but that seemed to be Wyvern's stock in trade as far as fighting went.

With Alizeh momentarily disoriented, Wyvern tightens her hold on the Texan wrestler's shoulder and tries to throw her towards the center of the ring. While she no longer has the strength to bodily launch Alizeh like she might have tried to do earlier in the match, Wyvern is relying on Alizeh's own unsteadiness to do much of the work while she gives the other wrestler what amounts to a particularly strong shove. Even if this is successful, Wyvern fully expects Alizeh to be able to stay on her feet; it would make her next move easier to execute, but even if Alizeh falls that won't change her plan.

If she successfully forces the other wrestler to get some distance from her, Wyvern pulls herself into the ropes, slingshotting herself off of them and charging straight at Alizeh. Right before she reaches her opponent, she ducks down and hurls herself forward, extending her arms forward to try to catch Alizeh with a Striking Spear!

Alizeh had been thrown off by that head but, no, completely thrown for a loop was far more accurate. She was seeing double, and everything was ringing following the collision of their skulls with one another. Quite frankly Alizeh was just in shock that Wyvern was even able to handle the backlash of that move given the way she had targeted the dark haired woman's skull earlier in the match. 'I should've kept the pressure there up.' Alizeh thought to herself with grit teeth as she was suddenly shoved roughly, nearly ending up totally collapsing under her own weight but managing to stay on her feet albeit barely.

Looking up in preparation for Wyvern's next attack Alizeh's eyes would widen in shock to see the girl already back upon her much sooner than she expected! 'Dammit!' Alizeh thought to herself, realizing Wyvern must have rebounded off the ropes to gain such speed while she tensed her abs as much as possible in the few seconds of prep time that she had, which admittedly wasn't much at all. "Ugh!" She'd grunt in pain as Wyvern's shoulder collided with her!

Getting taken clean off her feet Alizeh landed squarely on her back against the mat with a thud to a massive pop and jeers from the crowd who weren't exactly fans of the lead Wyvern had managed to take. However it didn't change anything about the fact that Alizeh had been totally floored by her opponent and for the moment was totally helpless for whatever would come next!

After Wyvern threw Alizeh, she took the split instant of bending the ropes to calibrate her next attack, whether she was going high or low. To no real surprise, she saw that Alizeh had managed to stay on her feet despite her unsteadiness and the aftereffects of the headbutt. She's tough. Her eyes narrowed, locking on to Alizeh's unguarded stomach. But that's what I was counting on. Despite her exhaustion, just throwing herself into her opponent wasn't exactly difficult. It was far from the cleanest Spear she'd ever performed, but the match was well past a point where anything would be particularly clean. This was a drag-out race to the bottom, and Wyvern had no intention of losing. When it came to pure ability to absorb punishment and keep going, she had never met her match. This wasn't going to be the first.

The collision with Alizeh's stomach is harder than Wyvern expects, Alizeh's tensed muscles providing stiff resistance against the imperfect attack. Nonetheless, it is more than enough to take both women off their feet, landing in a jumbled heap on the mat. For a moment, neither moves. Alizeh is floored by the impact, while Wyvern takes a few breaths to be able to stand. When she's able to do so, she first rises into a crouch, rolling her shoulder to relieve some of the pain from the impact. Then, she reaches down and tries to lock her hands behind Alizeh's neck, securing a grip on the back of her skull before using it to try to drag the Emerald Storm to her feet as she stands up. If she's able to do so without issue, Wyvern takes a moment to gather her strength before unleashing three rapid strikes with her knee into Alizeh's stomach and ribs. The speed and power of the assault leaves much to be desired to the perfectionist Wyvern, but it's still a viciously painful combination if it connects fully. When Wyvern has finished the first part of the combo, she shifts her grip higher onto Alizeh's skull before trying to yank her head down forcefully, bringing her knee up at the same time in order to try to smash her opponent's face!

Alizeh had been floored. There was no other way to put it. That headbut had left her completely vulnerable and disoriented with her own toughness being turned against her as her remaining standing left her her open to a vicious impact from her opponent as the woman came crashing into her abdomen with a spear that laid Alizeh right out with Wyvern following right after! Apparently despite being the one to initiate the attack the woman wasn't exactly in good enough shape to immediately lead in with a counter. "Ha... ha... ugh." Just fine for Alizeh, it offered her a precious few seconds to breathe and recollect herself, an attempt to at least try and recover enough to counter whatever was coming next.

Unfortunately for Alizeh the dark haired girl was already intent on continuing things before she really had a proper chance to res or recover. "Ngh!" Feeling a pressure on her hair Alizeh was slowly lifted up to a sitting position, the stinging sensation in her scalp waking her up somewhat as she was lifted up to feet before the feeling of hands over her neck forced her head down, right as a knee connected with her gut! "AUGH!" Screaming in pain as the knee connected Alizeh was helpless as a second connected. "GYAH!" Screaming again it was a similar story when the third knee crashed into her gut! "AGHHHHH!" 'Those knees.... hurt.... like hell.' Alizeh thought to herself, trying to keep from losing her lunch, but she knew that she couldn't let herself lose, even if her knees felt like they were about to give out on her at any moment. All she needed was... 'THERE!' Alizeh thought to herself as the grip on her neck briefly broke. As it did Alizeh would dart in, headbutting Wyvern's chest. Not as her big counter, just enough to throw the girl off.

If she was successful in doing so than Alizeh's arm would come up, wrapping around Wyvern's head and pulling it down. As she did so, Alizeh with her head still pointed down saw the woman's knee coming up, no doubt for what would have been a potentially match ending move. But with her distraction Alizeh would have managed to avoid it. However she would still reach down, grabbing the knee as it rose up before holding it against her hip. 'Gotta move fast.' Alizeh thought to herself even as every fiber of her body protested what she was about to do. "RAGHHHH!" Now with a roar of effort Alizeh would throw herself back, lifting Wyvern as she did so before dropping down, looking to bring Wyvern to the mat with a brainbuster!

If Wyvern was conscious enough to be acting on much more than outright instinct, she would have been very impressed with Alizeh's ability to counter her combination. .It was another of her most heavily practiced moves, one she could execute even while exhausted and barely able to focus. The blows to the gut rarely left the opponent with the ability to think straight, let alone respond during the extremely brief window where she adjusted her grip for the final strike to their face. Between the wear and tear from the fight and Alizeh's own prodigious skill at wrestling, however, the Emerald Storm had managed to find and exploit that weakness, striking at the exact second before Wyvern could finish her off.

The headbutt Alizeh delivers is nothing compared to one of Wyvern's, and the targeting of the chest was hardly optimal for a strike of that type. But not every strike needed to be decisive. In Wyvern's condition, even that is more than enough to throw her off of her balance, interrupting the flow of the practiced combination and back into an unprepared state. "Kch..." With her balance disrupted and her eyes barely able to stay focused on the opponent even at this close range, Wyvern lacks the strength and speed to mount a defense against Alizeh's immediate follow-up, registering the seizure of her head and leg with alarm but unable to stop Alizeh before she hurls both of them backwards, delivering yet another tremendous impact directly to Wyvern's skull!

There's no cry of pain or contortion of agony from the debuting wrestler. She simply goes limp in Alizeh's arms at the moment of impact, losing consciousness for a moment as her abused head bears the brunt of the brutal brainbuster.

'Fuck me I'm going to need a LOT of aspirin after this.' Alizeh thought to herself in the midst of her lifting Wyvern's body up in the air. It was agonizing to do so, her stomach especially felt like it was about to burst from the sheer amounts of pain and breathlessness it was in. Even with all that pain and agony however it wouldn't prevent Alizeh from actually lifting Wyvern, nor would it stop her from dropping down, spiking Wyvern head first into the mat with a brain buster. "Augh... Augh... Augh..." Panting exhaustively in pain from managing to hit the move Alizeh laid on her back for a few moments as she prepared for what she was about to do next.

Forcing herself over onto her hands and knees Alizeh would sit up before crawling to Wyvern. Pushing on the girl's body Alizeh pushed, attempting to force Wyvern to roll over onto her stomach. Something that if Alizeh managed to do she would give a small smile. "Normally there's more set up to this but.. I don't think it'll be necessary here." Alizeh said as she lifted up one of Wyvern's arms and wrapped her leg around it to hold her opponent in place for a move that many in the audience would recognize as Alizeh's biggest Finisher the Emerald Twilight. Granted true to Alizeh's words there was usually more set up, but given both her own and Wyvern's current states she doubted both would be able to stand long enough, that and it would just create an opening Wyvern could potentially exploit.

So with her leg wrapped around her opponent's arm Alizeh would reach down, grabbing onto Wyvern's leg and pulling it up. If she managed to do so successfully Alizeh would bend the woman's leg over her shoulder before leaning forward, attempting to fully lock in her submission finisher in a bid to finally end this match by submission!

Wyvern's world went dark following the Brainbuster, her consciousness leaving her entirely as she fell still in Alizeh's arms. The amount of head trauma the Irish wrestler had been subjected to (or subjected herself to!) should have concussed her five times over. The damage taken to her body would stop most people from functioning from the sheer pain, let alone the physical wear and tear. The exhaustion would prevent even moving for an individual of lesser fortitude. Nevertheless, by the time Alizeh was able to force herself up and over to Wyvern, somehow the younger woman had already pushed herself onto her stomach and was beginning to lift herself off the ground onto all fours. Her muscles clenched and released with effort, and her eyes stared blankly at the ground, not even paying attention to Alizeh as she approached. If she'd had a few seconds more, she might actually have been able to rise to her feet. That was time she simply did not have. Wyvern offers no resistance as Alizeh grabs and manipulates her limbs, not even responding up until the moment the finisher is fully locked in.

"HHHHHHHCH...GAH!"

Wyvern truly had no awareness up until that moment, her body only able to move at all due to her instincts formed from years in the ring and a sheer refusal to quit no matter how badly she was hurting. Consciousness comes rushing back to her, however, as a new, acute pain floods her system, Alizeh's finishing hold inflicting instant agony as she hyperextended the Irish wrestler's leg. Wyvern comes alive in Alizeh's hands, desperately attempting to throw her off or break her hold. A properly executed submission, however, cannot be broken with pure strength. And Alizeh was one of the best when it came to such techniques. Still, Wyvern refuses to submit, continuing her futile struggle.

Wyvern's near motionless body immediately reacted the moment Alizeh began to stretch the girl's leg and back, her submission finisher clearly doing a number on the still active pain receptors within the girl's body. Not that Alizeh blamed her given how painful the move was, but it was still rather impressive how alive Wyvern became in the clutches of Alizeh's most fearsome move. Yet even with that in mind and all the pain Wyvern must have been in, the younger girl was still refusing to give in to Alizeh and her hold. That in of itself was extremely impressive to the green haired girl as she pulled on her opponent's limb, trying to force the girl to tap and finally end this match.

'Damn.. she's gonna blow her lungs out before she taps... So I need to add some more incentive.' Alizeh thought to herself, outwardly sighing with a resigned and grim look on her face as her hands gripped Wyvern's leg even tighter before suddenly pulling her leg off of her shoulders. This confused some members of the crowd, wondering why Alizeh would seemingly release her finisher. But she wasn't releasing it. Keeping a tight grip on Wyvern's leg, Alizhe would begin to brutally start smashing the girl's knee into the mat, once, twice, three, four, five times total Alizeh would bash her opponent's leg into the mat, doing as much damage to the girl's leg as possible before Alizeh moved to pull the leg back over her shoulder to once again secure the submission finisher in all its glory! "TAP OUT BEFORE I BREAK IT!!!" Alizeh roared as she moved to pull Wyvern's leg to its limit, especially after the knee bashing. It was a act that seemed cruel and even barbaric to some, and personally Alizeh didn't like to do that if she didn't have too, but Wyvern was definitely a case of her having to do such a thing in order to hopefully end this once and for all!

Pain wasn't enough, in and of itself, to motivate Wyvern. It was unpleasant, certainly, and it was a useful warning when she nearing her physical limits, but it wasn't something to be avoided or sought out. Her unusual tolerance for pain had served her well against many opponents. Submissions built around pain meant nothing to her. Moves that would hurt her as much or more than her opponent were still very much options; Alizeh herself had seen that multiple times in this match alone. So when the Emerald Storm locked in her finisher, Wyvern only speeds up, the pain only serving to bring her back to consciousness and motivate her to try ferociously to escape. She thrashed her body from side to side to try to loosen Alizeh's grip and clawed at the canvas, trying to secure a purchase to drag herself free or both of them to the ropes, distant though they were. Against a lesser opponent, that might have been enough.

As Alizeh removed Wyvern's leg from her shoulder, the Irish wrestler's immediate thought was suspicion, rather than relief. No reason to release. Maintaining grip. Altering hold? Even as Wyvern's brain runs through the possibilities, Alizeh can feel the younger woman immediately intensify her efforts to break her leg free from the Texan's grip, attempting to take advantage from the less secure positioning. Without leverage and tired from the match, however, Wyvern's efforts amounted to nothing before her opponent brutally and repeatedly smashed her leg into the canvas. "GCHHHHHHH!" Alizeh could hear the (by now familiar) sound of Wyvern hissing in pain through locked teeth erupt from behind her. When she issued her ultimatum, however, the trapped wrestler went stock-still, even as the pain redoubled with the resumed hold on Wyvern's damaged knee.

Break unacceptable. Bluffing? Although the hold prevents her from reading Alizeh's face, the harsh roar of the Emerald Storm's imperative echoes through Wyvern's mind. No. Not disrespectful enough to try. After a long, agonizing moment, Alizeh can feel the breath drain out of Wyvern as she accepts the inevitable. "Cute hoor." Alizeh can feel Wyvern straining against the pull of the hold one last time, contorting her free arm until she can (just barely) reach Alizeh's foot. At long last, the Emerald Storm can feel a rhythmic sequence of three sharp taps against the sole of her boot as Wyvern submits to the Emerald Twilight.

Resorting to the most brutal usage of this hold as possible Alizeh had bashed and battered Wyvern's knee against the mat before reapplying the Emerald Twilight to its fullest degree. Keeping the hold in nice and tight Alizeh would grit her teeth as she tried to maintain it as long as possible. Presently her whole body was in agony despite the fact she was the one applying the submission to someone else. But the damage and exhaustion of the match had taken its toll on Alizeh, everything in her was hurting and begging to stop putting so much pressure to maintain the hold. But she couldn't let go, otherwise the match would be as good as over and Wyvern would win. Worse yet it could be a tie. Something that would piss both competitors off.

Finally though, just when Alizeh felt her body was going to give out on her she felt it. The soft but oh so noticable tapping sound of Wyvern's hand on her foot, symbolizing her opponent's admission of defeat, in turn meaning this match was over. Luckily the ref had also noticed the soft tapping and immediately called for the bell. The moment she heard the sweet sounds of the bell ringing Alizeh would sigh in relief, abandoning the hold and falling back in complete and utter exhaustion. Laying right next to her opponent Alizeh pant loudly, ever bit of pain reminding Alizeh how brutal this match had been and how much she had to push herself in order to pull out the win. But she had managed it and as such, she got the win. A hard fought, brutal win over a rookie that had impressed the hell out of Alizeh.

'Speaking of which...' Alizeh thought to herself as she slowly but surely pulled herself up onto her feet, the referee grabbing her hand and raising it up to a booming reaction from the crowd for the victor. Besides it all though Alizeh didn't take much time to bask in the moment. Instead she would turn down to her fallen opponent and reach down, gritting her teeth as she forced her arms to follow the commands her brain gave them as she managed to roll Wyvern over onto her back. If she managed to do so without falling over Alizeh would stand over her opponent, panting in exhaustion for a moment... before she reached down with her arm, offering a hand to Wyvern. It was a gesture that had been rudely dismissed at the start of the match. Now that they had had their war however.. Alizeh was curious to see what Wyvern would do with the offer now.
