Music to her ears. That's what every word that Ayane spoke sounded like to Piper. Virtually every single verb appealing to the blonde and her desires, namely her massive ego. Whether it was intentionally played or just the standard pitch given by Ayane one thing was clear, it worked. Looking up at the woman with a confident grin she nodded, clearly appreciating everything she said and being completely hooked on whatever she had to sell. "High enough to accomplish everything I want and more huh?" Piper repeated with a cocky grin on her face while sitting back on the back seat and crossing her legs over one another.

She felt on top of the world right now. Elevated with words alone and although she wouldn't admit it, much more confident about her career than she did this morning. "So.." Piper asked while meeting Ayane's eyes with a cool and confident expression, but one that screamed loyalty. "Where do we start?" She asked willing to follow the woman's lead it it meant the success she had promised. Either way it was clear, Piper was in the fold of Ayane's plans, and she was looking forward to it.

It was all but offical, Piper was taking time to listen to her, which meant that she could start getting to the big problems she saw in Piper, fix them and make something better. Ayane would point back to the tv as the match was going on, the two had swapped control several times over by now but Ayane seemed to be the one holding out the longest and each time she took control back she was in control just a little longer than last time.

"First, we make a statement. Remember when you beat the Loser champion Holly? How you made her kiss your feet and apologize to you like the worthless load of trash she was? That was something the people would remember, in this match I did the same. It wasn't enough to just beat this wretched fool who dared lay criticism at me, I had to make an example of him, something that no one would dare forget as long as I lived. Can you figure it out?" Ayane said her words clearly telling Piper guess what fate was in store for her opponent before it happened.

Piper had her arms and leg crossed as she leaned back against the car seat, invested in what Ayane was saying at this point. The woman was smart and even Piper had to admit that. She held accolades and had a legitimate dynasty in wrestling, as arrogant as Piper was even she understood how foolish she'd be to ignore advice from such a woman... The fact that Ayane praised and recognized her helped a lot as well. Not to mention the fact that the two already had a few similar beliefs and philosophies helped form a... kinship.

Focusing back on the match playing on the tv at Ayane's direction Piper nodded, smirking softly as she was reminded of her bout with Holly. Don't get her wrong she HATED that she was even in that match to begin with. However the humiliation and utter defeat she had returned upon Holly as vengeance would be a forever pleasant memory to the blonde. Focusing on what Ayane was pointing out however Piper nodded, watching a at this point now punch drunk luchador swing wildly at the younger Ayane, who just smirked playfully dodging his blows while taunting. She didn't have too. She just wanted too.

Piper dug it. Looking back up at Ayane the former cheerleader smiled softly. "That bitch Miranda. When we have our match I need to show her why she never should have messed with me to begin with, and why no one else should think of it either. That's what you're getting at yeah? Piper asked, enjoying the idea of using Miranda like that already, and given what she was seeing throughout the recorded match she figured that the woman would have some choice suggestions for how to do so.

Ayane saw her younger self start to take things for herself in the match, having beaten her foe down to the point she was dancing around him, eventually she would stop playing and start taking him down, at which point she could easily start to break him down the way she wanted. Before she could help Piper she had to make sure the blonde knew that making a statement required not just winning but leaving an opponent in such a state that everyone would know you were responsible.

"Yes, you need to show everyone that crossing you is a mistake. Unfortunately just beating them doesn't get that lesson to stick, they just make excuses or think they will get you next time if they do accept their defeat. You need something that will hurt, something that when they lose is a reminder of what happened when they stepped up to you. This was my last match with Halcyon, can you guess why?" Ayane asked as the match began to reach it's conclusion, Ayane putting her foe in submission after submission to wear down the proud fighter in front of her.

Piper hummed softly, almost purred at Ayane's words, the woman's intent hitting the blonde on a personal level. Everything she said resonated with the blonde on a personal level and made her all the more eager to see how things between the younger Ayane and Halcyon played out. So she watched and waited silently. Eyes fixated on the screen, like something akin to a child listening with total investment and eagerness to see how it played out.

Patience she would soon be rewarded for when Piper saw Ayane finally pull her opponent up, his legs braced on her own, somehow the woman managed to pull the masked man up by his chin in a dragon sleeper variant, something made worse with an added stomach claw. SIlently, Piper's jaw dropped clear open in genuine amazement at the submission move, especially given the size difference between the two.

Naturally Halcyon soon tapped out, ending the match with Ayane's arm raised in victory with her title held high in the air. But as she did so... she also reached down, ripping off the man's mask, immediately making him cover up, arms going across his face in shame as he immediately scrambled out of the ring, leaving younger Ayane standing proud in the ring with both trophys in hand.

Looking up slowly as the video went to highlights Piper would recollect her stunned expression into an impressed smile. "You took his mask... after making him tap out... that's pretty damn awesome." She said, leaning back and looking up at Ayane with genuine admiration in her eyes. "Question is... you think taking Mira's hair will have a similar effect?" Piper asked, somewhat jokingly, but a evil glint in her eye to show that she was definitely invested in the idea, and in what Ayane was preaching as a whole.

She didn't need the video to remember the matches ending so visibly, having made the proud fighter submit and strip him of something so integral to his life that it never mattered what happened next, she had left a scar so deep that he would feel it for the rest of his life. It was exactly the kind of lesson she wanted Piper and everyone else who heeded her advice to learn and the look on Piper's face made her feel alive again. Her days of wrestling were over but she could still live on through teaching the next generation and making sure the world knew what people like her did for wrestling.

"I took his identity. He lived through the mask and after that day it was mine, when you face Miranda you need to do the same. Her hair is a fair point to start, but what about Mira do you think makes her the way she is?" Ayane asked. She could help Piper here and there but some things she needed to figure out for herself, and this was one of them. Her feud, she needed to figure out how to stick the knife in the deepest.

Piper raised a eyebrow at Ayane's line of questioning. As far as she knew hair was basically the next best thing to a mask as far as wrestling went. But if that wasn't enough than what was? It was a conundrum and left Piper wondering as she leaned back in her seat, trying to think back to her encounter only less than a half a hour ago. But frankly she just wasn't sure, she barely even remembered Mira was on the roster, let alone that much about her as a person or competitor. All she really knew was what the girl talked about in their encounter before things got... wild.

"Uh..." Humming softly in thought Piper leaned forward, fingers forming along each other to make a pyramid as Piper gathered her thoughts before speaking. "I think I heard her mention she was a dancer? That probably would be a big part of her schtick. Kinda like masks for lucha guys. So like, I can maybe target that? Orrrr I could strip her? Prissy bitch like her would definitely find it humiliating, and speaking from experience it SUCKS. Not to mention thats how our whole beef started." Piper suggested, admittedly spilling whatever idea came to mind, but she at least was trying to back up her suggestions with reasons, but she wasn't sure what would please her elder, and while Piper couldn't explain it.. she did want to impress Ayane.

Ayane continued to let Piper figure things out for herself, and so far the blonde was starting to get into the proper mindset now that Ayane had shown her the path. Hearing the blonde start to peace together what she needed to say and do while the background noise of her post match promo could be heard felt like a proper re-imagining for the young blonde to finally start her rise to the top.

"I like the idea, but this should be your choice. This isn't me making you a pawn telling you what to do, think of me as a guiding hand instead. I can show you the paths you have, help you come up with options, train you if you feel you need it, but the final choices you make must be yours. So tell me Piper, do you think stripping that bitch is a proper end for vengance?" Ayane asked. She was giving the reigns to Piper and letting her control how things went, while Ayane knew what she wanted to pick and was doing her best to guide Piper to the same answer making sure the blonde feel it was her choice was the most important part.

Piper leaned back after revealing her epiphany idea to Ayane, wandering what the woman would think of it Piper waited with anticipation. Under normal circumstances Piper didn't care what others thought of her, well outside of them noticing her period. When it came to general opinions though? Piper could give a shit. But with Ayane? Well the blonde couldn't put her finger on it, maybe it was the praise or the similar ideals to herself but Piper actually found herself looking up to the woman somewhat. A truly rare thing for her and as a result she wanted to impress the woman.

As she was finding out however Ayane wasn't one for direct answers, or at least not the kind with definitive yes or no answers. Rather she seemed dead set on having Piper come to terms with it herself. Luckily for herself however Piper had the confidence to stick to her guns. "Yeah. Yeah I think stripping her and tearing up those ugly clothes in front of her will serve her right. Hehe, I can't wait to do it." She said snickering evilly at the thought of doing so to Miranda.

When a choice was made Ayane stared Piper dead in the eye for several seconds as if testing her resolve under her stern glare before she finally smiled. Not a cocky smile of a manipulator but a proud one, Piper stuck to her choice and wasn't wavering. Her conviction was clear in her voice and eyes and she had no doubts of her plan, this was all Ayane needed and more.

"So it shall be, you will face Miranda Tomi in battle and you will strip her of her identity for all to see." Ayane said proudly before bringing a hand to Piper's shoulder. "We can start anytime you'd like but I'd love to train you and see what you're really capable of. I know a move or two that might be just what you need to tip the scales, plus I've seen enough of your matches to know that you're on the brink of success." Ayane said, even in her old age she still knew how to train people, someone like Piper who was already quick and fierce was the perfect person to do so as well, their styles weren't so different and she felt she could adapt to her ideas easily enough, assuming she had the will.
